Just "3 roundabouts" away from the Yumbo and a 20-minute straight walk to the dunes (Riu Golf) it is well placed for a stay in Playa Del Ingles. I booked a single room which, although basic, was well equipped (balcony, table, chair, drawer unit and double wardrobe). The room was clean as was the bedding and I found the bed to be very comfortable. I particularly liked the way reception worked, handing keys in each time you go out. I have stayed in hostels that are a free-for-all, allowing anyone to walk in and around to the rooms but here felt secure and the reception staff were on the ball. All the team were very friendly and obliging. The small attached shop, which stays open through the night (very useful), was a great bonus. Don't go expecting a room with a view, air conditioning, TV in the room, if that's what you want then pay (a lot) more but, if you're on a budget, like me and don't appreciate the fancier things it will do fine.
There was nothing that I greatly didn't like, minor inconvenience that the toilet/shower room was 15 seconds away, ha.

It was really good value for money. I was looking for a cheap place and this fit the bill.
The staff were easy to deal with, and the room was fine (basic but ok).

You must leave the key in the reception every time you go out. In the main toilet, there is no proper intimacy.

The door to the bathroom banged loudly, because there was no spring on it, every time someone used it. This was most irritating (obviously) when it was most used between 9pm & 11pm when I was trying to get to sleep.

cheap and clean
long stay residents very poorly with pneumonia and snorting all day and night, spoke to reception and they refunded the remainder of my stay ! I was on 3rd floor room 53 !

Location and the price
Very basic old furniture,scraped bed sheets, very noisy during the night, impossible to sleep without ear plugs. Shared bathrooms not so clean, no privacy at all.

Very convenient location, close to everything and nice people. Very clean anf Perfect for the price.

Room was decent for the price, daily change of towels, location was great - short walk to yumbo and to playa ingles.

-main entrance is locked after 10pm. So, sometimes need to wait for someone to open the door even when you are back late night (and probably drunk) haha

They could have put the wifi in rooms, a small mirror in the room would an option as the bathrooms are shared and hangers in the shower is necessary.

I stayed in cheaper places that offered internet in all rooms and a place to hang your towel when you shower.
A shame no one cares about.
No internet at the rooms.with a room rate as high as they have the owner could spend a bit more as all he does is suck the money from people and does no repairs. and you don't even have a hanger to hang your towel in the bathroom.
