I like that there was coffee and hot water. The hosts are friendly.

I did not like that the front door did not close or lock. The tv did not work either. No wifi. During the winter everything nearby is closed. The closest place to eat is a 2 hour walk. Don’t go unless you’re renting a car.

Pas d’eau chaude à notre arrivée. Après deux journées de randonnées, nous sommes arrivés à l’établissement (avec un peu de mal pour le trouver). Une bonne douche était de mise , mais pas d’eau chaude, contacteur cumulus sur zéro. Donc eau chaude que le lendemain et douche GELÉE le soir même. Inadmissible pour une location.

Location in a beautiful mountain village

Hard to find, even with host’s instructions. But main issue — sheets & towels were not included and I had to ask the host to provide them which cost me extra 10€. It wasn’t mentioned in the description.

This property should not have three stars. it is a rundown wreck of a place and does not look like these photos on Bookimg.com Two days before we arrived we were messaged to say that sheets and towels are not provided. This is not a professional way of operating. We do not normally travel with sheets and towels in our suitcases.

The building looks derelict from the front. it is situated behind the church, in an overgrown, neglected area of shacks and old caravans. The apartment is a makeshift set of rooms which you would only choose to stay in if you had no other option. The place was not secure - the outside door had been left unlocked. The key to the rooms inside was very difficult to operate, although it was possible to lock it eventually. The toilet made a huge whining noise for several minutes after being flushed.

- Convenient. - Spacious. - Fully equipped kitchen, even coffee was there. - Parking space is large and close. - Host indicated some days before our arrival that no sheets and towels are provided and was reachable via booking messages and phone.

- Sheets not included in price, but could be arranged for 10€ plus. We would have paid 10€ more for a fully equipped accomodation without hesitation, but this... is audacious insolence in my opinion. - Towels also not included in price... - Appartment was not really clean, old spider webs at the walls, dirty cutlery in the kitchen, additional chairs with large stains in cloth of the seat. Nevertheless, anything you have to come in contact with, floors, bed, sink etc, were clean. (Note: appartment is not in Gavarnie, check the map)

Quite(except for the dog barking from 3.00am. We booked this property in August 2021 but the propieter could'nt find time to tell us that sheets and towels were not provided until we received an email through B.com on the afternoon of the day we arrived (9 months after the booking.was made), Our confirmation told us we had to pay in cash and we duly arrived with cash.We still have cash they took their money from our cards. We did"nt meet the previous tenants but we know quite a lot about them,long brown hair found in B'room sink and between dinner plates in the kitchen,double bed had to be vaccumed before we could sleep on it and floors were filthy.There is a printed sheet on wall listing all the cleaning you must do eg everything appart from the windows (if you are relying on outgoing guests to clean for incoming guests you should know the standard they work to) as we found. We cleaned every thing we used, and ignored the dirty kitchen cupboards,fridge drawer, salad bowls etc and left the 2 pubic hairs where we found them.Also the floors are uneven and could cause an accident

Would have liked the dog downstairs to cease barking at 3 to 4 am. Upholstered chairs stained, outside stairs rough and splintering, bannister not usable
