Nice room and location

Booked this room at the very last minute due to a missed train while interrailing and so so glad I did. Was pleasantly surprised with the private room, which was very very comfortable and well equipped, with a beautiful balcony. Staff were very helpful and kind. Port-bou in itself is an incredibly special place and will definitely come back.

The shared bathroom could have maybe been a little nicer as it was a bit grubby but not unpleasantly so. Would have appreciated a lift in the building as accessibility was a bit of an issue. Wifi was a little patchy.

Clean and I had a very spacious room with my own washbasin and very comfortable double bed and a kettle , yay ! And even a little balcony.

Walls were a bit thin so it was rather noisy at times though not unbearable.

I actually slept surprisingly well in the small room. The breakfast was really great value for the money. They also had soy milk for the coffee!

The single bed room was really small and dark. Wallpaper was coming off at some places and everything seemed like it was slowly falling apart. Yes, it is a very cheap place to stay, but I was quite surprised nevertheless.

Plainly and simply, the best price for a hotel around. If I looked for a luxury, I went to a different place. But for pilgrims, hikers, nomads and generally people who look for a place where to stay for a night or two in a private room, it's perfect. Of course, you get for what you've paid, but in this case, it's perfectly sufficient. And it has a nice atmosphere of a small old local hotel, together with a bar where you'll got a breakfast (a served one, not a buffet). + Although a bathroom is shared, the room has its washbasin. + The room contains a kettle and a complimentary coffee

The room lacked any table usable for working on a computer.

The hostal is very centrally located. The staff was friendly. It's nice to have the bar/ pizzeria downstairs. The room has a small sink

The room was quite small and rather dark. The amenities of the room and bathroom could use an update. What really needs to improve is the cleanliness. There were so many hairs on the sheets, one could think it wasn't changed. The table and floor we're sticky. The mirror barely showed a reflection.

It has perfect location, the room was pretty neat, with the sink inside and a fan on the ceiling.

The only thing which I didn’t like is the yellowish color of water in the bathroom and the sink

No AC on a hot summer Cannot open the windows because there is a restaurant underneaths the bedroom welcoming was ok but the person taking our keys back was super annoyed for unknown reasons

It’s a local place, and it’s literally 30m from the beach

A very cozy hostel with a warm feeling about it. I simply loved this place, despite the fact that I always try to avoid shared bathrooms, but here it was not a problem. I had to change my date of arrival and ended up not in the single room as I originally booked but in their double room with balcony - and it was really cozy. The bed was very comfy, and the room tidy and clean. The bathroom is shared with only one other room and was sparkling clean. Their restaurant is very nice, with a cozy terrace. The beach is just two steps away. Parking can be a problem to find in summertime. The staff are very kind. I stayed here twice and would love to come back.

Great hostel! Right next to the beach (sea view from some of the rooms), 5 minutes walk from the train station, a restaurant downstairs (and several more on the same block). Sparkling clean, and the interior was refurbished in good taste (lovely photos of local views) and with thoughtful little extras like washbasins in the rooms, reading lamps and kettles with tea and coffee. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed.

The location was great. The sink was insides the room, a little easy considering it was sharing bathroom. The room had a water kettle. I love the vibes restaurant downstairs -same owner, very local place and cheap (The croissant in the morning are the best).

The bed could be more comfortable.

Great little place in a hidden slice of paradise! Our balcony had an ocean view - incredible! The sea is right around the corner, the restaurant downstairs is DELICIOUS and my only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

The location is perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. It is equipped with a kettle which is great as you can prepare tea or coffee in the room. There is a restaurant downstairs which offers good food. The bathroom was close to the room.

The night was very windy and in one of the rooms the window made a lot of noise. There is no recepcion so it was impossible to inform anybody about it.
