The style
No check in details via booking.com blamed by the owner on them, odd, I have made many bookings by the same method without issue. fortunately I had a local SIM so could call, many would not have. The whole property was glossed over, look closely and it was just plain dilapidated/dirty. It’s right under the airport flight path,fine if you want to wake at 0615 but not relaxing. Also due to the gap in the mountains the wind howls through, allied with the nursery next door a cacophony. What would have been the office is now a repository for all sorts of supplies mostly toilet rolls and Amazon boxes, unsightly. Also, given that it’s miles from anywhere, would I recommend it? No.

Very cute place to stay! Loved the retro vibes of the place/courtyard. Room was clean, exactly as it was pictured, and the bed was really comfortable. There is a common room with games/TV/karaoke (we didn't use those things but there were other guests who were there using it) and a microwave (which we did use). There's also a water filling station outside by the pool.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night and it was chilly to use the pool and firepit, which would have been fun!
We almost missed the location; we arrived in the early evening when it was already dark and from the outside it was not as obvious or well lit where the entrance to the hotel is located.

Cet endroit est fantastique ! Il y a une piscine géniale, un barbecue, des jeux, un tourne-disque, des livres, des jeux de société, une tv, un karaoke. En plus de ça, la déco est magnifique, on retourne dans les années 70.
De plus, il y a des velo à louer gratuitement.
Il n’y a pas de contacte avec le personnel, j’ai appelé plusieurs fois pour de l’aide mais on m’a répondu à la fin de mon séjour. Notre airco ne fonctionnait pas, ça sentait le brûlé, je l’ai signalé mais on m’a répondu qu’à la fin du séjour donc nous avons eu très chaud pendant les deux nuits… Dommage car tout le reste était bien.

Nice place. Been there before. Has lots of potential.
Poor check in experience. No breakfast as stated on website. Loud 'all day' mantinence. Locked in my room, couldn't hear myself think. This went on for hours. No working sauna as stated on website.

Loved that they had bikes that you can use, the ping pong table and firepit we're also great. The toiletries we're great quality. liked the touch of the make up towels. ample towels and bins provided. liked the decor of the bathroom. Sun loungers were very comfortable. Gifts left at check-in we're a nice touch.
Our room seemed to be the only one without chairs outside of it, the ice machine was broken the whole time we were there and there was amazon boxes stacked up all in the common area. Could have done with some more exciting/aesthetically pleasing pool floaties. Pool towels were hard to find on our first few days. Our room decor was a little odd. Adding a filtered water machine somewhere would be a great improvement.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The facility is located in a quiet neighborhood! The pool is heated and clean.
The bathroom is extremely small and there is not much room to leave your staff.

I actually really enjoyed that it was an adults only hotel - I love kids but it made the stay a bit more relaxing! Our room also had so much space and I loved the 60's decor. There were so many additional amenities as well in the common room.
The water pressure was not great, but they do state that the plumbing is from the 60's.

The maintenance person was very nice and her kindness was the best thing about the place.
The check-in experience was insane. They refer to their establishment as a hotel. No! It is not a hotel. Before arrival, we had to sign off on a multiple page contract. Wasn't quite as bad as signing off on a mortgage but almost. I rented two rooms so had to go through that process twice. Then, upon arrival at the "hotel", we were unable to gain entrance. There was a cipher lock but we were not provided with the combination. Finally, the manager showed up (she manages a number of different establishments at the same time) and was able to get us in to her office. Our Booking.com info said the check-in time was 3pm but we were now told it was 4pm. So, we left to eat a late lunch and was assured that everything would be ready when we returned. Well ... we returned and couldn't get in. And it was in the 90's and extremely hot. I've never been so frustrated in my life. Finally received an email on my iPhone explaining what I had to do to gain entry to our rooms. I will never return to this establishment. This is the worst review I have ever written.

The property was on par with other recently renovated hotels in the area.
The lack of staff on site was unwelcoming and off-putting. The location felt a little weird — the neighborhood wasn’t walkable and the grounds weren’t relaxing in a way that invited us to stay and hang out.

I love that the property is smaller so you don’t have to haul all your stuff around a large property. It’s a lot more intimate and quiet and tranquil. Love the retro style of the place!
The bed was a little stiff but overall no complaints! We really enjoyed our stay 😍

Pool was warm, towels were available, code system was great. Loved the bicycles.
No Drinking Water most of the day, until a staff member arrived after 4pm.

Very comfortable. Great style. Friendly staff. Just all-around great atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again. And would recommend to friends and family.
Location wasn't walking distance to Downtown area but it wouldn't prevent me from staying there again.

Charming place, as pictured, it was very clean and comfy bed. Perfect for traveling with a pet.
Bathroom fixtures could use updating but overall was very nice and clean.

What an awesome little place. The whole property has a cool retro vibe. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower rocked. Hot tub and pool well maintained.

the entire booking and check in process is insanely over complicated. it will make me probably never book an avantstay property again. it’s that bad.
