Fantastically equipped, spotlessly clean, in an ideal location, very comfortable (beds included) - a simply wonderful spot. On top of that, owners were more than accommodating in extending our stay 10/10

great location, spacious land and outdoor area, complete kitchen, love the wood panelled ceilings and walls,love the fireplace, nice country feel, rainwater use, has a potential to be an excellent holiday home for bigger families

We were pleasantly surprised by Karriwood Cottage. Sure, the decor is pretty retro, but it was so well appointed. It made for a great family holiday in the Karri forest near Pemberton. The kitchen had everything you might need, including a real coffee machine and grinder (with beans), and a bread maker (with ingredients - a fun novelty for us). The beds were comfy with plenty of warm blankets and there was a good collection of books and board games in the lounge room. It was very peaceful and only a 15min drive into Pemberton.

It didn't bother us, but it's probably worth mentioning for other travellers, the bathroom was quite small for a family of 6. The toilet was separate, though, which was more convenient in a one-bathroom house.

Great location near National parks and very peaceful

The house was located in the perfect spot. Tidy and clean with heaps of space to stay a week plus. Beds are comfortable. Our way was spot on and we definitely will be back.

Location in the bush was delightful - birds in the garden, no other sounds. Facilities ideal for our needs although a good barista would have been helpful to operate the coffee machine! Kitchen well stocked with good quality appliances& utensils, even sharp knives! Lovely homely feel. Good to have recycle bin& sense of care for the environment from the owners. So many beautiful areas of bush to explore from this base.

Single bed mattresses not super comfy. (Big need mattresses good) If it was very wet weather,, a gravel area for the car would be helpful to avoid getting mud everywhere.

It was homely and quiet away from busy roads

Cushions on dining chairs would be a bonus!

Lovely cottage, clean and well appointed.

Its was a nice clean, small old style house perfect to relax in after a day out.

It said it came with electric blankets but we couldn't find them.

Location

No hot water. Paid good money to stay should get a discount. Bed sheets were a bit suss as to how clean they were.

The location is incredible. I had no issues finding the place and getting the keys. Very impressed with the accommodation. I'd love to stay here again.

The location was amazing- 15 minutes to Pemberton…. We bought a lot of food from home as it made it cheaper knowing Pemberton only has a small IGA…

We came in cooler weather so wood fire was perfect…. Not sure how cool it would be in summer- surely the trees surrounding would help keep the heat from the house- but nothing to complain about really…

This was the best holiday house we have stayed at to date! Location was beautiful with the bush setting out of town. The beds and linen were like hotels and they really have thought of everything for their guests.

Nice quiet environment. very pleasant house well set up for older and young alike with games and videos in the house for use. Saw kangaroos and blue wrens while there. Beds were very comfortable and the owner (Hamish) was attentive making sure we arrived ok and got the keys
