Location and the interior design

Would be nice to have a sofa on the top floor and the TV up there too instead of the bedroom, but not much room up there for that.

So close to the harbour, easy to find and so lovely inside! A home away from home x

Location, decoration, amenities were A* Was left a handy info pack about the property and nearby attractions.

The apartment in on two levels. You enter at ground level and walk up 8 or so narrow stairs to the first level where there is a small bedroom and bathroom, and then you need to walk up some more stairs to the small kitchenette and dining room which is in the attic space on the second level. This level has it walls angled in and a couple of skylights.

The main issue with the apartment is that it says it has a sea view but in my opinion, it doesn’t meet the standard for one. The bedroom on the first level has two windows and if you get really close to one of those at very acute angle you can just get a small glimpse of the harbour. The kitchenette on the second level has two skylights and if you walk to either and poke you head up thru the open skylight you can get distant glimpses of the ocean over the rooftops. Neither of these are great and neither are able to be enjoyed easily from any sort of sitting position. There are photos on the website showing both of these angled views, but there is also a wonderful photo of the pretty harbour, so when I booked I interpreted the sea views as including all 3. Not so. So just a warning that if you’re expecting sea views you might be very disappointed, as was I.

The bed was so comfortable and the apartment itself was so beautiful and very stylish. The shower was wow!!!!

It was so noisy! Every morning from about 5.30 there was people around workers/fishermen I guess right outside the window and banging around talking ect. It was hot so we had to have the window open. The bell tower is also loud wen window open which is every hour

Amazing place to stay. Such a welcoming, clean, fun apartment with added treats. Couldn't ask for a better location, so handy to everything. We will definitely be back next time we are in the UK. Thanks ☺️

It was an amazing stay, everything was lovely and very clean and comfortable. The host gave us very clear instructions about how to get there and good suggestions on what to do around the area

I bell tower rang every hour which sounded lovely but not if you’re a light sleeper. also a soap holder in the shower is urgently needed as I didn’t want to put my soap on the floor

Loved how clean it was and pretty and right on the harbour side - where I learned to swim as a kid! Big bonus being right next to no 2 Fore Street Restaurant- my favourite place! Loved having espresso !

Driving in Mousehole is always a little hairy, so I would have liked better parking tips. Ie do try to drop your bags before you park but instead of carrying on up the hill, turn the car around and go back along the quayside and head out on the road to Newlyn to find parking. I parked a 15 min hike away virtually in the next village called Paul up a steep hill!

Excellent kitchen

The location is excellent and the accommodation has everything you'd need for a short stay. Accessing the property was simple and the information shared from the host was very helpful. We would definitely come back.

The parking was a bit of a pain but on bank Holiday weekend is to be expected, you just have to be a bit patient.

Shower could of been better, temperature wasn’t right either very hot or cold

We loved it. The location was excellent. The accommodation was clean and very modern. It ticked all the boxes and we will definitely be back.

This little cottage was so cute and well appointed and in a central location. Car parking was easy and nearby. Directions to the cottage were clear and all advice given regarding restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc were spot on. I would stay here again.

I would have liked to have had block out curtains in the bedroom, and the bed was a little soft for my back, but I couldn’t find fault with much more. It was a pleasure to stay here.

the location was ideal, just by the harbour. The apartment was lovely and clean and bright. The decor and furnishings to a high standard. The attention to detail was really nice and the biscuits/chocolate/tea/coffee very welcome.

Perhaps a small TV and/or radio in the kitchen/lounge area, rather than having to lie on the bed to watch the TV. The plug in the wash basin in the bathroom would not stay down so you couldn't put water into the wash basin.

Great location, very clean and well equipped apartment.

Clock tower right opposite chimes every hour and is very loud in the bedroom - even at 3am! Parking in the village was hard to find.
