The Name speaks for it’s own. For those who want to feel a jungle experience directly in front of the door, The Sutton is the place to go. The Bungalows are kind of brand new, very good equipped as well the design matchs the place perfectly. Also the whole property is just a nice place with a lot of plants, a chilly pool area and a shared lounge with a additional kitchen. The owners are helpfully available for anything you need during your stay.

The Sutton is by far the most stunning property I’ve ever stayed at. My husband and I are usually budget/backpacker/hostel type travellers, but we decided to splurge on accomodations for the last leg of our Costa Rica trip and man, am I glad we did! Our stay at the Sutton absolutely exceeded my expectations. Cory and Alison were exceptionally friendly/incredible hosts right from the jump. Their property is clean, modern, intimate and breathtakingly beautiful. Loved waking up slow to the sounds of the jungle in our own little slice of jungle paradise. 1000/10 would recommend staying here.

the Sutton is beautiful, well laid out with good room design and great AC. private small outdoor kitchen but full shared kitchen on premises. Beautiful landscaping. it has only 3 rooms ( separate cabins) and a very nice pool area so easy to meet the other guests. Each room is very private. the owners are so friendly and helpful. extremely clean. extremely comfortable beds. 3 friendly dogs but not intrusive. great value.

the drive to the property is a bit challenging on a bumpy road and a 4 wheel drive is a must. getting up the driveway took some skill and technique but that added the the charm and challenge haha.

I would say this was the best accomodation in Costa Rica we have stayed at! Aly and Corey are fantastic hosts with a great vision for this property. The houses are sapcious, and well thought out, romantic to say the least. Next time we're in Costa Rica we'll probably stay there for a week at least!

Honestly one of the best places we’ve stayed at in Costa Rica. The rooms are comfortable and super clean. Waking up with jungle views is amazing! And Aly and Cory are wonderful hosts.

Everything was perfect. Nice swimming pool, little kitchen in the house, bigger shared kitchen, nice shower, good bed, ….

Everything. The place is tucked away in the middle of the jungle, but has all comforts and is 5 mins from the main road. You will see animals, birds, and butterflies. The cabins have everything you need, the bed is comfortable, and the place overall is just amazing. The pool os perfect to chill before your evening begins. You have all you need in your cabin, but a fully equipped shared kitchen is available, with gas stove and jungle views. The hosts have a wealth of knowledge about Uvita and surroundings and we were very happy with their suggestions. Aircon is available but was not needed. We could not have asked for more. 4x4 needed to get there!

If you ever go to Uvita make sure to stay at the Sutton for two or three nights. It's the perfect getaway for couples. Not only are the house and garden very well tended, but also beautifully designed. Probs to the architect. The hosts are extremely friendly and were there to help any time.

The location, bang in the middel of the jungle is amazing. The feeling of waking up to the fresh air and lush jungle is priceless. Beautiful private cottages. Modern and clean. Also the hosts were so nice and helpful!

We stayed in one of three brand-new houses, which are located on the green mountain slope over Playa Hermosa – a stunning wide beach, where we went for the most picturesque sunsets we’ve ever witnessed in our lives! Our house (like two others) had a beautiful patio facing the jungle full of colorful birds, so it is a paradise for birdwatching. The casita was tastefully designed, beds were like heaven and the house even featured a walk-in closet. The hospitality of the hosts – Ali & Cory - was unmatched: they recommended the best places to visit and things to do. We spent quite some time at the property as it had everything you need: from a swimming pool to a rancho, where we cooked a couple of evenings having lots of fun with other guests. The place is quite strategically located - you can visit such great attractions as Nauyaca waterfalls, Manuel Antonio National Park to name just a few. And if you don’t feel like cooking you can just roll down the hill and there you are – the best Italian of the neighborhood. We’ve been to Costa Rica three times, and this is one of the best accommodations we had. Millions thanks for everything, Ali & Cory! Hope to see you next year again!

This experience was everything and more we could have asked for. Ally was so kind and met us upon arrival. She communicated with us daily and made sure we had everything that we needed and offered us great recommendations for the area. She also has three dogs who were my absolute favorite and so sweet and would greet us. I wish we could of had more time :)

I can't think of anything- perfect for a couple getaway.

it was so serene, surrounded by beautiful nature and the little private villas were absolutely gorgeous. our hosts were so generous, friendly and just wonderful.

the only challenge was driving the challenging dirt roads in mountains. i highly suggest renting a 4x4 car to get there, but every effort was utterly worth it for how beautiful it was.

Beautiful rooms with out door kitchen & large ranch for cooking & dinning great Wi-Fi Fabulous hosts Ali & Cory . View & jungle amazing. Great value for money . If you want the real Costa Rica then this is a gem. Restaurants & tours all within a short drive. Beaches to die for no crowds. Would recommend this little place with just 3 bungalows & a lovely pool to anyone visiting Uvita.

The property is brand new and clean, located in a beautiful jungle surrounding, with parrots and Toucans flying around. Everything is extremely well designed and comfortable.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to Costa Rica, a real spot of luxury in the middle of the jungle but so close to incredible beaches. The location is great, the town is not too touristy but still lots of waterfalls to explore and beaches to see, would definitely recommend the butterfly garden and waterfall park 5 minutes down the road. Loads of great food and coffee spots in Uvita too, and only 20 minutes down the road to the more lively beach towns. The rooms were beautiful, had the best views and real modern amenities. Everything you could want in the little kitchenette, plus a really well-kept pool and BBQ area for use. Everything about the room was to super high standard, as well as a massive plus of seeing the birds and the monkeys around. The incredible couple that run the accommodation are so lovely, and completely willing to go above and beyond. Loads of recommendations for the local area and no request was too ridiculous, even when we needed help pulling our car out of a ditch in the pitch black in the middle of the jungle they turned up so ready to help! And of course their very sweet three dogs were a massive highlight. We will definitely be returning and staying here, would love to be able to book all three cabanas as this place would be perfect for a group holiday too.

Beautiful modern cabins surrounded by nature. Very comfortable bed, large bathroom and a walk-in closet for all your stuff. We loved the terrace (with small kitchen), where you can have breakfast with a jungle view. All the windows have screens on them, so you don’t have to worry about mosquitoes or other animals coming in your room. Aly and Corry were the perfect hosts, always ready to help or give tips on where to go for dinner or activities.

The road to the property is gravel, but we didn’t have any problems getting there (in dry season). Only the driveway up to the cabins was more difficult, so we just parked on the bottom and walked up the driveway.

Amazing design of the individual houses and common areas. If you like you can leave all windows open (perfect insect screens) and hear/feel the forest all day and night. We saw toucans flying over the pool. Lovely and very responsive hosts. Overall, we had an exceptional stay.

A wonderful place to spend time away from it all. The place is very new and was well designed allowing you to have all the privacy you want in your bungalow as well as on the balcony. The bungalow was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a big king-size bed, separate toilet, and coffee machine. As there are just the three bungalows, you often have the pool to yourself which is nice. The owners are very nice and made sure we had all we needed and were very accommodating. We would have definitely liked to stay a few more days! One point to note is that you definitely need a car (with 4x4 ideally).

The location was great, just about 7 minutes off the main highway and close to the beach of Playa Hermosa and the town of Uvita, but quiet and removed, tucked into the hills, looking into the canopy.

Absolutely fantastic. Organised, unique, charming and thoughtful. The owners are personable and really cool! Couldn’t rate this place highly enough.
