We’ve booked an apartment in Riga Imanta Dammes 4-89 from 20/07/2022 to 06/08/2022 check in 15.00, On the day of arrival I sent a message in the morning to WhatsApp to the Host but he didn’t respond. When we arrived at the property at 15.00 no one was in, I was trying to get hold of him, ringing several times after the third time he answered but he was completely drunk. He said he would be at the property in 20 minutes to give us the keys but after an hour of waiting no one came in, so we left. I tried to call him again on a number of occasions but he didn’t answer at all. I called at 16.06pm to booking.com customer service and spoke with adviser. She was trying to contact the Host but he didn’t answer either. She promised if he is not going to respond to her in the next 30 minutes, she will try to find an alternative apartment for us but it didn’t happen, snip from email below. With luggage, we had a teenager with us , we were completely stressed out and didn't know what to do. We have spent €80 on the taxi’s, I have made a complaint on booking. com. We had to stay with our friends who agreed to help, so we slept on the floor in a one bedroom flat, not a great start to a family holiday. We were trying to find an alternative apartment but in the summer holiday’s season it's a big problem, we’ve managed to find a property. The whole experience is unbelievable, creating a lot of stress to our family. We were planning this holiday for a long time, it was our first holiday after two years of pandemic!!!

Cheap price but on arrival I was asked to pay extra for the 5th person who was on the booking but the owner of the place denied any knowledge of this.

Had to pay for car park. The place wasn't very clean, towels were stinky and the TV was not working.

This apartment has necessary amenities and appliance for a longer stay. The apartment itself looks fair for the price. A shop is near by. The location is between Riga center and Jurmala so it not close to either of those but on other hand not too far. There is a tram stop very close and it goes right to the Riga old town. There are some downsides but at the time we rented it was the best price offer, so in that context there isn't much to complain.

Communication of property owner should be better. We didn't get all needed information on time and property owner didn't answer calls right away. The apartment is on the fifth flor and to get there you can use either stairs or elevator. The elevator is this old soviet cabin that barely fits 3 people and if you have a kid stroller you are not going to fit it there. The parking space is scarce. It is available somewhere in 200 meter range, but you'll have to wander around for a while to find it. The bed in the main bedroom is not too comfortable.

This is a spacious and calm flat perfectly located at a tram stop, good for resting and for working. One can cook in the flat and there is a large food shop nearby. Everything was very neat.

One has to work out the address, which has a dual number.

I am very impressed with this apartment. Very clean, well equiped with everything for cooking, WiFi, TV, hairdryer. Most importantly the bed is comfortable with a lovely soft duvet. Quiet neibours, no noise at all. I slept so well. Convenient location just 2 minutes walk from a shop. I am looking forward staying there again.

I can't think of anything to dislike.

Everything was clean , all necessary equipment for living was in place. Good location , friendly and responsive owner. Highly recommend.
