The location was great and owner was friendly. The cafe around the corner, Elinion, is fantastic for coffee and has a wonderful owner named Georgia. I went every day I was in Kalamata, highly highly recommend if you want good hospitality and prices.

Bed bugs, lack of security, no wifi, no property or room security for female dorm, broken windows, lots of bugs, not clean in bedroom or bathroom, no light in bathroom and only 2 power boards worked in the whole room. It took hours for me to be able to check in, despite arriving within advised times. It is also CASH ONLY which could be slightly clearer on the property ad. I had to go to the bank with owner to resolve payment as I did not have access to cash… but that was partly my fault. I stayed here because it was the only budget friendly option anywhere in Kalamata, and ended up paying more than 3x as much for the rest of time in a different accomodation because this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed.

All rooms are dirty, there is no clean bathrooms there, no kitchen included. Its looka like abandomed place for squatters. Great potential but really poor execution. One of the worst hostels i have vever been. Overpriced for this kind of quality.

Super well located hostel. In the historical district and close to many well rated restaurants. 5min walk to bus station. Very nice host.

The guy that let us in was nice and polite. The location is close to the old town and near an amazing bakery.

There was no hot water. Apparently hot water is dependant on the sun and unfortunately we were there on a rainy day so we only got cold water. The room was passable, but the bed was quite uncomfortable. Close to the old town, but a long walk if you want to be by the beach.

The hostel is in the center.

The bathroom was very dirty. In the night it was cold because there were partly no windows. That made it also loud because of the noise outside.

Good price.

The window was broken so a draft of cold air blew over my bed. And a blanket would have been nice. Especially because it was getting colder.
