Breakfasts were awesome

No air - too hot to sleep. Pillows not comfortable

The whole Manor was beautiful, wide open spaces, windows and plenty of areas to sit and relax. We loved the library and window seat the most. Our room was perfect for one night away. The bathroom was decorated so nicely! We really appreciated the fans that were available since we like some noise while we sleep. My husband and I agreed we'd love to stay here again in the summer!

Rob is an incredible host! He shares the history of the home as well as the area. Rob is great at connecting guests with each other. He is a wonderful host, and a terrific chef! We cannot say enough to convey what a wonderful time we had at Franklin Manor!

Rob was extremely helpful; the building is beautiful; our room was quiet and clean; breakfast was outstanding; and the location is within walking distance to the business district.

Host Rob is an excellent cook and the breakfast was memorable. Stunning house with every accommodation. Large comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Can't wait to go back!

If there had been a fire going in one of the fireplaces it would have been perfect!

Rob and Carly were great hosts! Rob made an amazing Egg and Cheese Sausage biscuit and homemade pumpkin bread. It's located about 15-20 min from downtown Lake Placid.

The room was a little cold and drafty when we got there, but Rob swiftly brought us a bigger space heater to warm the room and turned up the heat via the radiator.
