Loved this place it was very beautiful and peaceful, clean and comfortable and indoor spa was beautiful and needed much in the heat .
Air conditioning worked but wasn't great.
The staff let this place down sadly , very abrupt and not very welcoming at all , even the breakfast staff , nobody speaks

Once we found the doorbell to Hotel Rural and the door opened into the attractive and inviting historic courtyard and reception we were instantly smitten. It was exactly what we had been hoping for, and more. The beds were huge as were the rooms, and our group of two sets of adults were all delighted with our areas where we happily stayed for a couple of nights. The wellness spa was used a few times, and the sauna was enjoyed by half the group. Unfortunately there was not any staff available to turn the sauna on in the morning. Breakfast was great, delicious coffee and lots on the buffet table. A great place to rest and explore for a few days when we first arrived Great food in the bodega next door

The room looked beautiful, private, with large ceilings. An amazing king size bed. The breakfast was excellent. The outside garden is beautiful and well maintained.
The hallway to our rooms had a smell of sewage!!! That is not acceptable. Get it sorted

they lied about the spa facilities working. I messages days before my trip to confirm everything was up and running but when we arrived nothing but the sauna was working.

Felt like i was at my grandmothers place(in a good sense)

Located in quiet town away from crowds Neat original building. Easy Parking available in the street . Nice restaurant located 7 min walk. Good bfast spread.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel Rural San Miguel, enjoying a lot the cosy place composed of several little old buildings around a charming court with flowers and lemon trees. The staff has been very kind. We have especially enjoyed the breakfast. Also the view from the terrasse on the rooftop is amazing : from this high village you can see the South cost of Tenerife and the shape of La Gomera on the background. On top it is super easy to park in the streets next to the hotel.
The cleanings of the bathroom was a bit disappointing, and also it should be renovated (lot of water on the ground after the shower). The restaurants in San Miguel also weren't that good.

Comfortable room, especially the bed. Lovely location. Restaurants and cafes within 2-10 minutes. Great spa pool-30° in cave. Very good breakfast, plenty of choice.

This property is really something special. Unwashed blown away by this amazingly historic place. So many hidden gems and lovely little details.
The views are simply stunning and staff was the most welcoming I have experienced in all of the island.

The location is beautifully decorated and conveys the beauty, the tranquility of past things. Breakfast in the garden in December is a real pleasure. Breakfast in itself is very good and pretty varied.
Sauna is a very nice addition and it was a good place to warm up.
Bed is large and very comfortable, towels are exchanged daily (actually if they weren't, there was no chance they would dry in the room / bathroom).
As it was December, for us East Europeans room was too cold. You do not get the feeling of coziness after a day spent outdoors. Bathroom although picturesque not very practical (only two hangers for towels and everything, far away from the shower area). Also, toiletries were advertised, but we only received a bottle of shower gel, which didn't bother us as we had our own.
Room is in the need of a thorough cleaning.

Beautiful hotel, our room was absolutely gorgeous. The buildings are old and have been restored and looked after wonderfully. Staff were all very helpful and friendly

The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and showed me where a local herbalist was, and even gave me a lift on my last day! The bedroom was very clean. The breakfast was well presented. The hotel is lovely and peaceful. The Roman bath is a stunning addition - although it could be much warmer. Amazing that there is a sauna (although I didnt use it). The shower in the room was great.
The breakfast could be healthier with fresh selection of fruits and plant milks. It could also have a menu because I didn't realise one could order cooked eggs. The Roman bath was beautiful but the water needed to be hotter. An extra blanket was needed in the bedroom since it was cold during the night. There could have been a better introduction to the room - I had no idea there was heating. I'm not used to staying in hotels but the price seemed high.

The home is stunning and the room was super comfy. Maria at breakfast was accommodating and sweet. Vicky waited for me when I got a bit lost and arrived after 10pm. The solarium upstairs is divine! A great spot to relax and read.
I booked this place because it boasted a hot thermal pool. Also, my room pics had a bathtub. I wanted hot baths! I felt disappointed because my room only had a shower and the thermal bath wasn’t heating. That part I understand because it happens… but I feel like my bathroom photo was deceiving. Also, there’s a modern jacuzzi upstairs and they don’t heat it. A shame. When I mentioned this to Vicky she didn’t offer anything … I wonder if she could have offered a partial refund or something.
When I was lost at 10pm- I called Vicky and asked for a teal time location. She didn’t offer a WhatsApp number. That would have been wonderful because I stressed going around in circles for about 25 min.
