朝食は他ホテルと比べげて特に特徴はない。何年も会員であるのに午後4時からでないと入室できない。宿泊費を二重に取られ、後で返却してもらうトラブルがあった。

I try to avoid Toyoko Inn when I can because the beds are incredibly hard, and this was no exception. I don't understand why this chain of hotels has this policy. Also I think it was overpriced with respect to other hotels we've been at in larger cities.

Good location, 2-3 minutes walk from Ichinoseki station, which is convenient if you want to visit Hiraizumi as there aren't that many places to stay there. From Ichinoseki station, the train takes about 20minutes to Hiraizumi and comes every hour or so. In terms of the actual hotel, it had a typical layout for a Toyoko-Inn hotel, with simple furninshing and small bathroom. Breakfast was good but it was on the light side. Probably the best part of the hotel were the food recommendations (only available in Japanese) on the TV screens from the staff - I went to an amazing seafood restaurant nearby, run by a fish monger. It also has laundry facilities which are great if you're travelling around Japan for several weeks.

There was only one lift for the entire hotel, meaning that at peak times, it took a good 10 minutes to go to and from your rooms. The breakfast was pretty good but the selection of hot beverages like tea and coffee weren't the greatest.

this is a very convenient hotel chain, located very closely to the bus and train station, quiet rooms, good beds, rather for work, business and easy transfer; the simple but tasty breakfast is included. Basic hotel services for good price.

staff were very nice, great location in relation to train station. bathroom was okay.

the beds were very small and quite hard, you wouldn’t want to have more than 1 person in the bed. the duvet was too small for the bed. only one lift meant sometimes long wait times.

Typical Toyoko Inn experience. Fair quality and an amazing price. Breakfast in the morning is simple, but gets the job done. Train station is very close. Perfect to visit Hiraizumi and Rikuzentakata.

The location is good, near to JR Takasaki station. Bed is comfy and compact room. I love the addition USB charger!

The room and bathroom are clean. Beds were comfortable, and the aircon is great, was adjustable and provided good airflow. Amenities can be taken as needed from the lobby. Decent breakfast is also in the lobby with limited seating, starts at 6.30am.

We were given the room next to the lift, we could hear every personal conversation due to poor sound proofing. The electric kettle was a little leaky when pouring.
