The owner waited for us for almost an hour. He welcomed us with warm greetings and intruduced the place. It is a lovely home and the kitchen is beautiful and stylish. The pool is not big but very enjoyable espcially during the sunset. Very beautiful and peaceful place. 5 star recommended!

The home was very nicely decorated, everything was so clean and new. The hosts were very kind and helpful and we were welcomed with homemade cookies and liquor.

Nothing negative. I suppose the home is in a small village with only few amenities around (the bakery "Padaria do Vau" was nice and cheap!) but luckily we had a car to get to the places we wanted. The location was great to visit Obidos and Peniche and explore the nearby beaches.

The style of the house is excellent, we liked it a lot. The owner was very nice, we received many tips and recommendations.

The other guests arrived late in the night and were noisy in common spaces, everything could be heard (of course the owner can't affect this). The bed could be more comfortable, it was very firm.

House decorated with heart and tastefully, clean. Lots of amazing furniture and decorations. Fully equipped kitchen, you can feel like at home. We were with a group of friends so we felt at ease and comfortable. Cosy garden, small but clean swimming pool. Very helpful and friendly hosts, Joao sent us links to places to see, to eat, to do shopping, which was very helpful. There was a surprise waiting for us at the welcome 😉. Thanks to the hosts for their amazing hospitality!

the closest location, but centre of Obidos is amazing

This was one of my best, most enjoyable stays in a while! I loved everything about it, especially the quirky, creative style of the décor - it's easy to see that it has been created with much thought and from the heart. Everything in the house was bright, clean and tasteful, and the modern (shared) kitchen extremely well stocked. Communication was superb too, Joao is super friendly and helpful with information about things to see, restaurant suggestions, supermarkets etc. I can sincerely highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to revisit soon.

Everything was very clean. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The rooms are very big with air conditioning, balcony and private bathroom. There is a swimming pool, patio to rest and a big kitchen.

Kindness, welcome care, we did it at late hours. Decoration, space. Quiet. Very nice owners. Shared good and helpfull information. The room and the House is great, great common areas and the room was also better then expected.

No late check out option. no breakfast option and isn't easy to have it in nearby in walking distance.

Very personal and warm welcom by the host. He also gives you many recommandations of restaurants and places to visit in the surroundings. Confortable rooms and all the facilities you need. The house is situated in a lovely little village and it all gives you a very relaxing vibe. You can park your car in front of the house.

The only thing that I could mention is that the walls are pretty thin. So if the neighboring room takes a shower, it sounds like they are taking a shower in your room. Besides that everything was just perfect.

A possibility of breakfast would have been nice, there is nothing much in the village either so be prepared take yourself something, the kitchen is very nice and well equipped.

What a gem! The photos don’t come close to doing justice to how lovely this place is! João has clearly put a lot of love and attention into the property — I truly wish I could have stayed longer. The location was tranquil and calming — although a bit outside of Obidos proper, the peaceful little village was a welcome respite after my previous stops in Lisbon and Sintra. My room was lovely, so spacious, and spotlessly clean. Would recommend to others without hesitation. Thank you João!

Everything was perfect, highly recommended place! The room is very spacious, well decorated, flawless clean with super comfortable bedding. Sunny bright with its large sliding door on the balcony with great open view but also dark (blockout curtains) and quiet for a high quality sleep. The common areas are also very peaceful and decorated with taste and great mix of modern and local touch. You can only feel good here :)

Apartment is very clean and new. Host is very welcoming, offered us a local home made liquor.

The room was very nice. We had a big bed, beside a big blanket the lovely host put wool blankets for every person. You can tell that the host put lots of thought in to the design and in every detail at the place. The host is an amazing person, the moment you meet him he makes you fell comfortable and he helps with any request. We highly recommend.

The location is a bit far from the cenert of obidosh but we didnt mind because we were with car

lovely guesthouse with unassuming entrance. delightful interior with a magnificent orange tree in the courtyard. the owner, Joao has taken great care to make his guests welcome and comfortable. located in a picturesque Portuguese village Peaceful and calm.

Joao was a wonderful host and very interesting. The house is done up in very good taste and kitchen well stocked. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves in this lovely peaceful area.

It took a while to get hot water out of the shower but got there with a bit of patience. Can't think of anything else.

Such a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. They have made so much effort even to most tiny details. look closely at the orange tree for some beautiful messages in a bottle. I loved my stay here!

Nothing - absolutely perfect

Charming guesthouse in a quiet area outside Obidos. João is an extraordinarily welcoming host and his attention to detail is evident throughout the property. I loved the loft bedroom with view terrace in the "grandmother's room." There is a clean and modern kitchen plus dining area available to guests, as well as a serene courtyard garden with small pool. This would be a perfect place for a group to book all available rooms and be able to enjoy the shared facilities and common areas. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night!

Purely an amazing place to stay near Óbidos. Seems like time has stood still in the small village and the property is a gem of beauty. João the owner has exposed his soul with the handcrafted art and style of this place while preserving its heritage and history and made it to have such a relaxing atmosphere. It was literally hard for us to decide if to stay and enjoy our time here or explore the tourist attractions in the area. To us it was a perfect getaway for the two nights we stayed here. It will be your perfect choice.
