The location is fantastic other than the queues directly outside the front door for the barber shop.

Very dirty. A strong drain smell caused by the macerator and saniflow plumbing system; owners attended the property and admitted there is nothing they can do to stop the smell. Faulty dishwasher, faulty fridge, faulty oven, faulty freezer. Bedrooms are in the basement and so 2 rooms have no windows which gives them a prison cell feel.

quirky layout- wouldn’t work for everyone but we liked it. very very central and near everything you’d want to see- also very quiet with a lovely garden to look out on.

Macerating toilets quite loud and a bit whiff but guess given they’re in the basement no real alternative. dishwasher a bit fiddly to get working- aside from that all good

the dishwasher was broken & the freezer needed defrosting as the door wouldn’t shut

There didn't seem enough bowls for a house that sleeps 6 people. We were told there would be milk which we assumed would be a bottle in the fridge but it was long life sachets. Not a problem as we just bought some milk from the shop, but was a bit misleading. There were no instructions for the showers so took a bit of working out. I feel this would be helpful. A folder with instructions for things in the property would be helpful. There were two bins. We didn't know which was which, general rubbish/re-cycling. They could be labelled. These are all small things as, overall, we loved the house. It's just to help the owner get better feedback.

Town centre location, lovely house, lots of space. Pretty garden.

Great location right in the centre of Ely, modern decor, spotlessly clean, quirky layout, pet friendly, good communication with the letting company throughout, free parking in Ely, dozens of places to eat and drink right on your doorstep

The faff of Ely's weird 8.00am - 8.30am parking restrictions which means you have to move your car around each morning. That's no fault of the property though and parking is at least free, which is a rare thing in the UK these days

Beautiful, quirky and spacious. Very, very comfortable. Everything we needed except instruction on how to out the fire on.

The noise from the barber's shop especially in the bedrooms away from the under croft windows. Very little to dislike otherwise. A little more information about the parking would have been helpful. The car park is called Fore Hill Car Park on Broad Street. There are two parts to this car park, long and short stay. If you park in the short stay area of this car park at night you have four hours from 8am the following morning before you need to move to the long stay part of the car park, where you can stay all day.

Excellent location, great flat., enjoyed Ely and would return to this property without hesitation.

The Free 24hr parking policy in Ely needs to be made clear. if like us you do not wish to use your car it is necessary to move it every day to another car park, although not far away.
