lovely location and we were very well treated. it’s more like an air b&b experience than a hotel but very personal and relaxing loule town is great too

The pictures are as it is, it is a quiet space in the hills about 15mins drive from Loule with a useful little kitchen and a pool.

There was an issue with my booking, this wasn’t resolved as I thought it had been by a telephone call a few days before my arrival. When I was showed around the property, including a double and two single rooms I unpacked in the double as per my booking, I received a few text messages saying that I owed extra money and that I was in the wrong room, it was unsettling and not very welcoming. No apology was made just an explanation that there was a booking error their end. As I have worked in hospitality for most of my life I can see that this is new to the hosts, I had to sort my own booking out for them, it wasn’t the relaxing get away I had hoped. The proporerty is lovely and well cared for. There is a large garden full of trees and flowers. There is a large clean swiming pool with garden furniture and a well furnished garden kitchen where guests can store and cook their own food / breakfast (the coffee machine was temnporarily out of order but the owner immediately provided freshly brewed coffee). The place is very close to Loulé (7mn by car) and the beach (20mn to Almancil) and located in quiet, green surroundings. Guests have free usage of the property's grounds as well as a large covered patio with good wifi and a shaded terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and elegant, very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable and the owners are relaxed and very friendly. This is a beautiful retreat, it was hard to leave.

Check-out is at 11:00 am, we would have liked to stay a bit more :)
