That there were 3 bedrooms

There was no one there to provide the key. The pool was dirty and not functional. One of the rooms did not have air or a fan. The microwave did not work. The door did not lock. Someone had to bring a key that we could not use on the door. The owner would not honor our wanting to leave and refund.

The dining set was the only attraction to the entire house and the abundant supply of towels was a plus. Despise the funky scent in the master bedroom, it was really nice. Love the concept.

We didn’t like that upon entering, the entire space was dusty given the fact she said it will be prepared for us. No microwave was an inconvenience, a nun functioning iron was disappointing and why weren’t we notified of persons coming to clean the pool while we were there? No window privacy when the lights are on anyone outside can see exactly what you’re doing inside. Our water supply being cut short on the last night was another huge inconvenience. Opening and closing the doors were difficult.

The outside of the property was well maintained lawn was freshly cut and there’s a pool that’s too deep for a family with kids. There’s no label as to how deep the pool was but when asked it’s 7 feet deep.

The house would be nice if it was maintained on a regular basis. Firstly the neighborhood is not a safe place for tourists. The entrance to where the home is located is a hang out spot for the neighborhood men who looks like they live nowhere. You’re harassed by some as you go back and forth. The house has an infestation of roaches I have pics to back up my story. There’s also roaches in the refrigerator. The main bathroom has something that looks like mouse droppings that falls from the ceiling and there’s a cluster of webs formed in the ceiling. The bathroom shower curtain was dirty and so was the tub, the sink and the area between the toilet was disgusting. The kitchen drawers were broken, the pots were not the cleanest. the doors are difficult to lock. We ran out of toilet paper when I messaged the host she sarcastically told me it’s a self sufficient house so I’m responsible for supplying toilet paper (I paid $1500 US dollars for a house and I must supply the necessities) smh. We also ran out of water so I messaged her once again before she can tell me she will send the truck to supply water, she said the tank was full upon arrival. We were a family of 6 we showered 2x daily the place is hot, we brush out teeth, we washed dishes, flushed toilets what did she expect was going to happen. Let me not forget that the house wasn’t ready for us when we got there. The gentleman Wally/ Willy was cleaning. He was a nice person but Stacey the host who I never met has a lot of sarcasm about her. I told her I do not feel safe staying at that location she told me I would have to give her $1200 US dollars cash to change location that was crazy to hear. There’s a reason why they only show the back of the house and not the front. It’s not a decent view of the neighborhood there’s an abandoned house next door and houses building up across the street.

The pool, strong wifi, calm location and big garden.

Tracey tried her best but the house has some technical defects and needs more maintenance. No warm water in one of the bathrooms and in the kitchen. A/C only in two rooms, in the rest of the house it was hot.
