The hotel is amazing, the room was super comfortable, the staff were awesome and the location was perfect. One of the best hotels I've stayed in a while.
Free hotel wifi could be better. In these days, paid wifi is not an option, especially for people who travel and work at the same time. In a hotel like this, excellent free wifi is expected.

This property is palatial and full of amenities, right in the middle of Casco Viejo. You can stay a whole weekend exploring the hotel's offerings or walk right out the front door to access some of Panama City's top restaurants and bars that are just steps away.
We stayed two separate nights, divided by an overnight excursion. The first night was wonderful as we received the room we booked, overlooking the pool. But the second night was an absolute disaster. Despite stopping by earlier in the day to access our stored bags, our room wasn't ready until two hours after check-in time. We were only given one drink voucher each to compensate for this delay even though they charge $75 for early check in. Also, despite requesting the same room upon our departure the first night, we weren't even given the same type of room on our second night. We were instead "upgraded" to a room that had no view, though we paid extra for a view. Only after complaining were we moved to a different, somewhat better room, but it was still significantly worse than the room we had paid for. The front desk staff said they would talk to the manager to find a resolution, but then took no action. They had the gall to ask how our stay was upon check out and then simply shrugged their shoulders when we told them we weren't satisfied. There are much better, less overpriced properties to stay in Casco than this one.

Estábamos en una júnior suite justo arriba de un salón de eventos en donde se hizo una fiesta que acabó en la madrugada. Nuestra habitación se remecía con el ruido. Llamamos a las 7pm para reclamar y no hubo reacción. Pésimo que en un hotel de esta categoría hagan fiestas y peor que las habitaciones de 600 dólares la noche estén encima!!! Al menos habría esperado que nos cambiaran de habitación por esa noche.

Staff friendliness, beautiful rooms, amazing water pressure in the shower, burger in room service was very good.
Breakfast. Why only a la carte? Why no buffet option? Ate breakfast at 10:30am and most of the fresh juices not available. Only pineapple and orange.

Es gibt Dinge, die sind in einem Hotel wichtig. Dazu gehören das Bett und das Frühstück. Beide waren leider ziemlich schlecht. Das Bett war ein kleines Kingsize Bett, das so alt war, dass man keine anständige Liegeposition gefunden hat. Das Frühstück wird nicht als Buffet gereicht, sondern als à la carte. Dadurch dauert es sehr lange und man bekommt von den Dingen, die man mag, wenig, aber dafür viele Dinge, die man nicht mag.

A localização é muito boa e o café da manhã é excepcional! Menção especial ao Sr. Dario, pelo serviço prestado no pequeno almoço. A piscina também é muito charmosa e com uma bela vista. O banheiro da suíte é especialmente bonito.
O Hotel não responde às mensagens enviadas via booking. Todavia, os Srs. Orlando e Alfredo foram de grande empatia para solucionar os problemas.

Great location, in the old town but not in the midst of it, so feels airy and calmer.
Perfectly restored with large rooms and all the comforts you'd expect in a nice hotel (e.g. the choice of pillows). Fabulous facilities (pool, gym, rooftop bar, etc) and attentive staff.
We have requested a separate roll-out bed for our 4-year-old but when we arrived the check-in staff told us they had not received any such message from Booking.com and that all roll-out beds were taken. We had shown an online confirmation clearly stating our request - to no avail - our child ended up sleeping on a sofa.
It's hot & humid - beware of mosquitos.
It is VERY pricey. $ 9 USD for a late in an adjacent coffee shop is not sustainable.

I had the first room in the 1st floor just by the maintenance or service room, it was too noisy, specially the sound of the doors and concierge talking. Terrible room location. Furthermore, given that there was an event, the staff was not as attentive. Strongly below service compared to Hotel La Compañía for similar value.

The staff were extremely attentive. The folk dance show in the evening was very nice. The staff took a photo of us with the dancers and gave it to us at check-out. The room had an incredible view of the ocean and the city.
