Gorgeous house, in a gorgeous location. We went off season and despite finding cold weather and rain, we loved our stay because Stintino and the house were so nice!

The check-in is a bit tedious and lengthy in my opinion. There is a contract you have to sign and it scared me off quite a bit because it says if you damage something you have to pay a lot. I think it's unnecessary and annoying.

The house is a gem, surrounded by beautiful nature, mountains and sea. We felt very welcomed by Francesca that gave us tips thought out the stay. We absolutely loved the terrace, even if some of the furniture was as it last legs (pun intended) there were plenty of chairs to choose from. It was sunny all day long, but you always have shadow available. We especially enjoyed the lunches in the terrace and the sunset in the back terrace. The indoors have amazing views, we love the main bedroom view to the tower (torre del falcone) and the moon and stars at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and was good to have an oven and a dishwasher.

I found the multiple page contract that we have to sign prior to our stay excessive. I felt not welcomed, not trusted. There were potential charges for not cleaning the cooker, not disposing the rubbish in the recycling center (you need to get there by car) , late check in damaging the property and a long etcetera. This may be more suitable for a long term stay but for me it made me very anxious. The worse part is that the state of the house was not perfect. That meant that I felt like I could be charged for anything that I didn't do. Luckily this was not a problem, and for example I broke a glass and they didn't charge us. I would really suggest that you reconsider this aspect of the letting. I feel it created the oposite impact to the one you want to make. There are some strange things - Stintino rules?- like the rubbish disposal, be prepared to really own the disposal process. Also strange that the cost of the bed linen and towels is not included in the total price. Who brings their own on holidays? The shower was on the small side.
