Felt like we were staying in a grown up tree house. Surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery. Peaceful & quiet. Would love to stay again!

We had such a great stay here. The place itself is kept in such great condition and it's such a cozy home. Location is excellent as we like the quiet of Jensen's Bay. The hot tub area and sitting area by the water are also fantastic. Highly recommend this place and the owners are great and very quick to respond!

We had a lovely multigenerational holiday in this charming cottage. Kelly was very responsive and organised a crib and highchair and some children’s plates , cups etc. we loved the proximity to the beach and great to have the hot tub when the weather was chilly. Lots of thoughtful touches such as extra towels for the beach and hot tub and blankets for use outside.

Our family had a wonderful stay. They have all the amenities you could ask for and the property was even better than advertised. The hosts are responsive and accommodating. The hot tub and seating areas were serene and we loved the location- just a short walk to Chesterman Beach. We were really hoping for a beautiful and relaxing getaway and that's exactly what we got. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

This space has everything you could need and more. The communal gathering spaces (deck, kitchen, living room) accommodated everyone and allowed us to prepare meals and enjoy them together all while maintaining conversation and being social. The greenery around the home offers ample seclusion, so much so we often found ourselves forgetting there's an attached home - great design that prioritizes privacy for both sides of the home. The hot tub was a real treat, and bear prints on the shoreline! 10/10 - will check this listing before others when we return.

This was the third or fourth time we've come to stay at Blue Heron/South Swell and we had a great time. The home is so comfortable and nice, and we love the new outdoor shower! This is the best appointed kitchen I've ever had while renting, and loved spending cool rainy evenings in the hot tub. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

My family and I had a very peaceful stay at the Blue Heron house this May long weekend. The house was very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Our host Kelly responded quickly to messages and was very accommodating, she even let us know that the cleaning crew was finished early, so we could check in a little early. The hot tub was great, but I think the outdoor shower was one of favorite perks. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

This was our first time visiting Tofino and the Blue Heron was a great location to check out all the surrounding sites. Right across from Chesterman Beach, you can't really beat location, especially if your surfing. House was clean and well laid out. The inlet was very cool, my sons had fun playing in the mud or watching the tide come in. Hot tub was a bonus. Kitchen was a bit small for a family who likes to cook but we made due and it had everything we needed. Overall we would recommend

Very impressed with location being just 5 min away from South Chestermen beach. Property is clean, welcoming and a perfect spot to enjoy some r&r. I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Heron. Kelly and Bob provided their Blue Heron guest house to us in a very clean and organized manner. We hope to return to this beautiful, and relaxing home.

We only stayed for three nights, but wish it was more. Great location and very clean.

I can’t say enough good things about this property! We will definitely try and come back. Was equipped with everything we needed. Very quiet, close to the beach, and a short drive to town. The hot tub was a huge bonus - lots of hot tub towels supplied! Beds were comfy, and the neighbourhood was quiet and relaxing. Communications with owners was excellent. Very much enjoyed out stay!

Kelly’s house was the perfect accommodation for our family trip to Tofino. The house is loaded with everything you need. I cooked the whole trip and the kitchen had everything I needed. We played a couple of the games which were so fun. Everything has been thought of, a wagon for the beach, tons of extra towels and blankets for beaching, hot tub, fires and even a special basket for dogs. The location is also perfect, just a short stroll to the beach. Cannot think of anything I would add to make our stay more comfortable as it had already been thought out for us. Thank you, Kelly!

It was well stocked with kitchen supplies so it was very easy to cook. Hot tub was a great asset.

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The home was clean, welcoming, very attractive and organized. The kitchen is extremely well equipped- there’s a global knife set for example and lots of coffee making gear including an espresso machine. There were lots of spices, olive oil and coffee in the cupboard. The bedrooms are all large and lovely. This meant that none of our group drew the short straw on which bedroom they got for the stay. We didn’t use the hot tub but it’s situated beside the house tucked into the woods and along the salal path to the waterfront. At the waters edge there are chairs to sit on to enjoy the view. The house is truly a 5 minute walk to the south end of Chesterman Beach and a short drive to town. We weren’t there to surf but if you were there’s everything you need to shower outside and take care of your boards and suits. There’s also a wagon to use to pull your heavy gear to the beach. There are towels and beach blankets ready to use too. Check-in and check out was easy as well as communicating with the owner. We recommend this house for your stay in Tofino and next time will stay longer than 4 nights.

Our host Kelly was fantastic.. the house is lovely and comfortable with great amenities. The kitchen very well stocked for those who like to cook. Comfy bedrooms. Everything was great. Christmas and New year with us and our 3 kids was just perfect. A very short walk to Chesterman beach.. . And a very short car ride to town. Highly recommend .

What an amazing place! Located such a short walk away from arguably the most beautiful beach in Tofino, this house is spectacular. It had everything our family needed to have a wonderful visit - a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, beautiful decor, and it was all sparkling clean. Our hosts were communicative and so friendly, and their recommendations were all top notch! I could not recommend this home more strongly - we will definitely be going back!

Just go. You won’t find a better host. The guest book has tons of well researched ideas on restaurants, things to do, local adventures. You can walk to the beach, and ride to the bike trail - you can ride downtown, to trailheads, and even to Ucluelet. The house is so welcoming, every detail thought out, well appointed furnishings and a superior kitchen. We are 3 couples in our 60’s and the house more then met our needs.

Highly recommend this property—great location, comfortable, really well appointed kitchen, great hot tub. Minor issue at first was immediately resolved by host. Three queen beds are great for three couples—so if your party has two singles, someone will sleep on pull out sofa in living room.

I was fortunate to stay at the Blue heron house with my mom, brother and sister-in-law. We were in the Tofino area to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday. We were very happy with the location of the house. It’s in a great area, so close to everything, not to mention a hop, skip and a jump to Chesterman beach. We loved our stay at Blue Heron house. It has everything you’ll possibly need. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Separate towels for the beach and hot-tub and Kelly has provided a lovely, spacious wagon to bring all your stuff to the beach. Theres also blankets you can bring to the beach or use at the fire pit. There is nothing lacking for your stay at this place. The beds are super comfortable and it’s so quiet at night! I highly recommend staying here.
