We loved this house in Buena Vista. Sara was a great host - very proactive and responsive. Location is close to downtown BV and many hiking trails. Great backyard for a dog and for a hot tub after a long day of hiking. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 2 evenings. Stayed during a hot spell for the region. House has no AC so house was very warm during the day but opened the windows and by morning was cooled down nice. Nice rooms and a rustic feel. Had a minor mishap during stay and contacted the host, she was awesome and took care of it immediately. I would stay here again!

If you are looking for a pet-friendly house in Buena Vista, Colorado then this is your place. The house has three-bedrooms, one and a half-bathroom and is located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from downtown Buena Vista. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our 7 day stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and a wonderful backyard with stunning views of the surrounding Collegiate Mountain Range. Hot Tub, Grill and Fireplace make it ideal for hanging out after a day of fun. We even picked fresh Strawberries in the morning for breakfast. Solid Internet Wifi that worked great for working remote on a couple of the days. Our host Sara was very friendly and helpful, and she checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the fact that she provides a "local directory" activities and restaurants to try. We spent our days exploring the many outdoor activities and daytrips like Breckenridge, Salida, Great Sand Dunes National Park to name a few. Plenty of local activities available in the area including hiking, biking, rafting and shopping. We also enjoyed visiting the downtown Buena Vista, which has a charming Main Street with shops, restaurants, and breweries. Best Burger in BV is Buena Viking! Best Pizza is CraveBV, both very easy to find in town. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Buena Vista. The house was perfect for us and our two dogs, and we would definitely stay there again.

The house had everything we needed with some nice extras in the kitchen pantry and fridge. The house was comfortable and clean. A wonderful backyard but we only used the hot tub for our winter-weekend stay. (Not all the jets in the hot tub worked, but it didn’t ruin the experience.) The location was convenient for us but the high school across the street from the backyard got a little loud Friday night, must have been a home game. My daughter loved the bedroom upstairs with the cozy nook and we all enjoyed the comfy couches and warming up by the stove after a day of snowboarding. (And the stove was perfect for drying our wet gloves and gear.) Check-in and out was super easy. Would stay at this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this quaint property in Buena Vista for our short vacation with two grown children. The house was very well-appointed with all the amenities we needed, it was clean and had plenty of room for the four of us. Also important for us, it was in a quiet neighborhood so we all slept well. The 15 minute walk to town was a tiny trade-off, but there was never much traffic to worry about - plus it was easy to drive to the center. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented this property to use as a home base for a few days of dirt biking around Buena Vista. The house was perfect, and the owners were awesome and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Would highly recommend!

We were in BV for a friend’s wedding. The house was great for us all! Close to town, trails and a local park. It was also well stocked with baby gear, and toys for our 4 year old to play with! Our son also loved the hot tub and checking out the water feature in the yard. Communication with the host was great! Overall a wonderful property!

We loved this house! Perfect for our family of 4 (youngest is 4) easy to manage the kids here with the great outdoor space. Kitchen was one of best stocked rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely will book again!

We absolutely loved staying in this cute house and being able to bring our dog on vacation makes things even better. The back yard was amazing and the house was perfect for our needs. We chose Buena Vista because we wanted to ski at Monarch and at Ski Cooper and it was a great location in between. We absolutely loved spending the day on the snow then coming back to the hot tub.

We had a great mountain getaway at this property. It was one of the most well-stocked kitchens I have stayed at. There were also lots of extras that made traveling with a four-year old easier. We enjoyed hanging out in the spacious backyard and the hot-tub was a bonus. The location was great and the hosts were kind and helpful. We hope to visit again!

My family and I loved our stay at this place in Buena Vista. It was walking distance to the river and some really good dining and breweries, so it was nice to feel connected to town but also have the privacy of our own place away from main street. The indoor spaces were beautiful (very nicely appointed and all the furnishings were in excellent shape) but we really spent a ton of time in that big back yard, especially the hot tub! The kitchen had all the necessities and then some, making doing some meals there a breeze. We were also pleasantly surprised at the internet speed, so we were able to still be productive for a few hours of work. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place for a getaway. We'll be back!

Our family (four adults, one toddler, one infant and two dogs) stayed in early October 2021 for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The host has made the space incredibly warm, welcoming and functional for families, all done in good taste. The primary bedroom is incredibly well set up for a family with young children. Our toddler slept in the crib that was in the attached room/office (there is a desk and crib in there) and our infant slept in a pack in play in the main bedroom. We were grateful to have enough space for both kids comfortably in the main room on the first floor. The attached room/office also stayed very dark, not quite black out but close, which helped our toddler sleep well in an unfamiliar place. The rooms upstairs easily accommodated the other two adults and one of them rooms could have comfortably accommodated 2-3 (older) kids. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking essentials - oils, vinegars, basic spices, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. We only cooked one night but could have easily cooked every night. There was a coffee maker, kettle and coffee grinder too. The backyard was perfect for everyone. Our dogs loved laying outside in the fall sun, our toddler loved exploring the yard and we loved eating outside on the covered patio, sitting by the fire as the sun went down (easy to purchase firewood at City Market) and hot tubbing at night. It was a quick walk (15 minutes) to main street or south main and an even quicker drive (less than 5 minutes) which was so nice for walking around town, getting food and having some drinks too. Full washer and dryer were also really nice to have on site with two young children. We highly recommend this place and are excited to stay again in the future!

The house was clean, cozy and well decorated. It was extremely family-friendly - crib, pack and play, stair gate, booster seat, etc. The location was great relative to Main Street, and the host was very responsive. Great outdoor area as well! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time in this great BV home- we walked to downtown and along the river. The house had everything we needed for travel with our kid- including child sized dishes! The beds were comfortable with amazingly soft linens. Everything had a clean classic look. Sara was really responsive as a host and we look forward to going back!

I can't say enough great things about this home, the host, and the location. My husband, son, and I had never been to Buena Vista, and we all had the best time! Communication with Sara was so easy, the home was immaculately clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of fun toys for my toddler, comfortable beds, and the YARD! We basically hung out there the whole time. It's so close to downtown and the springs, but again, we had a lot of fun just hanging in the house as well. We can't wait to go back! If you have small children (and even if you don't) this is the place to stay! Thanks again for a great getaway!

Our stay was fantastic in BV. The house is located within walking and biking distance to main street and the riverfront area in BV which made for fun, easy nights out for dinner and music. The house was decorated beautifully with great special touches like an array of spices, great cooking pans, etc.... The hot tub was a definite bonus as was the amount of outdoor space in the backyard. I would definitely visit again. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our girl's getaway at Sara and Ben's place. What a sweet gem of a house! We appreciated the extra touches of the well stocked kitchen, luxury towels and tasteful home decor (loved all the real plants and flower beds in the backyard). The welcome bubbly and other assorted beverages were a welcome surprise too! We loved being able to take a soak in the hot tub and enjoyed drinks on the cool covered patio. The home was a great size for the 4 of us to spread out comfortably. The house is a short walking distance from town and we enjoyed morning and evening strolls to and from. We particularly appreciated Sara letting us know about a free outdoor concert across from the Surf hotel. What wonderfully available and accommodating hosts! If you want to enjoy a great stay in Buena Vista at an awesome home, this is your place!
