It was very nice. Everything went well except for the boat ramp was not feasible for our sized boat (22 foot); however, there was a boat ramp down the road that we could use.

Great place, very clean, and perfect for our little getaway!

This was a good location for venturing out. Close to Key West. Very hot when we visited and the air conditioning worked great! Could use some updates…. new coffee pot, new shower liner, etc. All in all the property served our needs.

We had a nice cozy stay in the Lower Keys! The property was fun to be at and the location was great for us. We highly recommend this cottage!

Bad

Our cottage was clean. The tub was in a little disrepair. Towels were old and not enough of them. Beds are not what was in the picture. The accommodations were adequate but not quite what was expected. The grounds were a little overgrown. A couple of neighbors were complaining about their cottage that it was not acceptable so all are not equal.

It was an awesome experience and definitely will be back!

The resort is older but was as described and the owner was quick to respond when needed. Had a fun time in the pool and ocean. Not too many chairs to lounge in but enough for the 2 of us. Good value, would stay again.

This Could be a very cute vacation spot but the whole property is in serious need of a maintenance man. The outdoor furniture is all in disrepair, and rusted. The upholstered furniture pieces in the cabins are stained, dishes are cracked, the dishwasher doesn’t drain and the mattress is stained. There is an “old Florida vibe” which could be charming, but unfortunately the property is just on the wrong side of “hoopty”.

I love the area . The house was very nice and comfortable. Would stay again.

Upon arriving at the property we found a dirty cabin. The bathroom had hair all around it, the floors were unclean and the dishes were dirty in the cupboard. The strings used to control the lights/fans were filthy with one of the strings having a panty liner stuck to the end of it. The furniture was broken down and dirty. The exterior of the property was ok but the heated pool was not warm and the trail to the other pool/amenities was not well marked. Overall very disappointed in our stay.

I didn't realize it had a shared wall with another unit. Minor repairs would be nice, but overall it was fine for the cost.

This property felt relatively cozy and quite despite the fact that it right off the main hwy. I enjoyed spending time on the water in the calm bay. Seems like a great place to stay if you bring your own small boat.

The property is about 25 minutes north of Key West. It was relatively clean and could be a great play to stay if more attention was given to the maintenance of the unit. For the nightly price, I expected that scuff marks on LR wall would have been cleaned off, the armchair upholstery would be clean, chipped wall would have been touched-up with paint. It appears there was some sort of electrical problem with the microwave prior to our arrival. It kept tripping the GFCI outlet. The bath mat was in poor condition and the white towels looked more grey than white. The kitchen had basic equipment as described but I would have thought there would have been 4 coffee mugs, and 4 of various types of glassware given the cottage can accommodate 4 people. I will say the beds were very comfortable and having a TV with recording capabilities was a bonus. The cottage served our purpose for the 3 nights we were there.

The cottage was roomy and comfortable with a large kitchen. We loved the old Florida charm and screened porch. We only wish we would have gotten to stay longer and it enjoy it more.

This property was really beautiful. The house itself was cozy and cute, and was located right next to the bay. There were several docks to fish from, and a wooden dock that went through the mangrove patch. We didn’t take advantage of the pools there, but it seemed like kids would live to have them to play in. The cleaning rules at the end were very reasonable. I’d say the only issue with the property was that the beds were quite uncomfortable. One was very hard, and the bed frame squealed any time we rolled over and felt unstable. Honestly we worried that it would break just from sitting on it. The other bed was so soft we sank in, but not in a good, memory foam kind of way. If the property owners upgrade the bed situation, this would be the perfect stay.

Family and I were exploring Florida for a family vacation. Place was clean and tidy. With four folks it also felt spacious still. We actually cooked dinner and breakfast once each during our stay here and had no issues. We liked this place because it was cheaper than compared to being directly in Key West. We had several things to do in the Keys and this location was perfectly situated so we can go to Key West one day and then Bahia Honda State Park on another and commute times being less than 25 minutes. Great internet connection and my mom was able to watch Netflix when we came back from an all day trips of exploring and walking.

Good place to stay, clean, a/c works great. We stay here when we are down fishing.

Communication with host was easy, location was good, short drive to grocery store, key west, restaurants, etc.

Very welcoming and very private property. Awesome location, private pool, kayaks, beach etc. Can't say enough of this place. Quaint, clean, spacious home. Would totally recommend this place to friends, family and everyone. Thank you ❤️

We love staying at this property. There is a full kitchen so if you don't want to eat out all of the time you can make your own meals. Location is close to everything, but also quite and private. We bring our boat and spend most of the time on the water, but it is also a quick drive to Key West.

Located far enough away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy great restaurants and Key West fun. Cozy duplex was perfect for my husband and I on our fishing trip. Full kitchen was great and the property even has access to a small beach on the ocean side. We would definitely rent this place again.

This was by far the worst vacation rental by owner property we have ever stayed in. The property manager was rude, The sheets had hairs and staining from previous tenants. We couldn’t even sleep in the beds. There was a foul odor in the house, pool area was a disaster and looked like there had been a party there the night before. We couldn’t even use it. I would not recommend this property to anyone, and our expectations were already low when we got there. So disappointed.
