Property management team was excellent. They were very responsive and stayed in touch throughout our stay to be sure we had everything we needed.

This cottage is in an amazing location. It is only a very short walk to town and restaurants, but you feel like you are in the woods when you are at the cottage. The cottage is exactly as advertised. It is wonderfully stocked and very nicely furnished. Both master baths are very nice. The kitchen is more spacious than most, and the house appears to have been renovated in the not-too-distant past. he screened in deck is amazing, we enjoyed the spa, and adjacent creek adds to the ambiance. There are also hiking trails nearby -- you can take an easy hike all the way to Mirror lake. We have been to Highlands many times, and this is clearly our favorite location.

Well appointed house with great separation of space - everyone had their own en suite. Fully stocked and very comfortable.

The property was very clean, nice bedrooms and kitchen, great screened in porch, outdoor area with fire pit close to small stream was very peaceful, and location is close to town. Everything we expected for a nice relaxing vacation.

We loved our stay at this charming cabin! The location can't be beat -- you can walk to town in 5 minutes but feel like you're in the middle of the woods. The cabin is outfitted with everything you need -- bathrobes, toiletries, etc. The hot tub is a treat and the fireplace is the coziest!

We loved it! We had a wonderful wedding weekend in the Highlands. The beautifully decorated cottage was the perfect location because of it's walking distance to downtown. Yet we got to enjoy the mountain experience because of this lovely home. We sat on the screened porch and enjoyed the sounds of the creek. The nights were cozy around the fireplace. It is such a charming place...even decorated for Christmas! I hope to return someday!

We had a wonderful stay at the Millbrook cottage! Lori was so easy to work with and very flexible. Our dogs really enjoyed the house and the screened in porch. It was the perfect place to come unwind at night after a busy day of wedding planning. Highly recommend this house to anyone.

Wow! Blown away by first visit to Highlands. Absolutely beautiful location and this lovely retreat made it all that much easier to enjoy! Truly is walking distance to all the fabulous shops and market, yet conveniently tucked away, providing a private retreat in the mountains. The furnishings were cozy and warm and it felt very much like our home away for home. (Okay, probably nicer than my home!) The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms immaculate and spacious. Loved, loved, loved the sounds of the bustling creek! I'm anxious to get back with my family as I know the kids will love the creek and of course, s'mores by the fire pit!

I was expecting a rustic cabin. What I got was a full service retreat full of all the high-end amenities and conveniences of a 5-star hotel. The decor is stunning but fits within the charm of the Highland area. The gorgeous kitchen is spacious and perfect for planning a family meal in or having appetizers and wine with friends. The details extend even to the choice of linens and bath amenities. By far the most luxurious vrbo I've experienced. While the inclement weather prevented us from fully enjoying the porch, hot tub and fire pit... just knowing those features were available enhanced the experience! The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk into town. Perfect for a hike (just out the front door)... and surrounded by exceptional restaurants and shopping. This gem in the woods is worth the price and I can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cottage. The location is superb, seems like you are in the middle of the woods when you are actually are a couple blocks from great restaurants and shops. There are hikes out of the front door, the creek in the back is so special, you can hear from the inside of the house and spend some nice time by the fire. The cottage itself is done in such nice taste. It's cozy and comfortable, very clean and very well stacked up with all the kitchen utensils, nice towels and attention to the small details that we really appreciated. It made our stay very nice and special. We would go back again and again if going back to Highlands.

What a warm and inviting cottage you have.You have thought of EVERYTHING one might need to make their stay perfect. Your beds and linens are amazing.Not to mention the hug up stairs bath and shower..wow We loved our long morning walks through town all the lovely places to eat and shop ,but the best was a beautiful evening fire down by Mill Creek ,listing to the water and smelling the cool mountain air .Life does not get much better then that.. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage Labor Day weekend with our son and daughter inlaw and 2 year old granddaughter. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and super clean. The 5 of us were very comfortable and loved everything. I think everyone took a snooze on the screened porch. We hope to return sometime in the near future and would recomend to anyone looking for a relaxing, easy living weekend with all the comforts of home. By the way, the shower upstairs was amazing.
