This home is everything the listing shows it as and more. So well stocked and pristine clean as other reviews have mentioned. The owner is very pleasant and was always available for a question or advice. Neighborhood is lovely and very quiet considering how close the homes are to each other and to the busy commercial area a few blocks away, which is also a huge plus for groceries and pretty much anything else you may need or want. The pool and jacuzzi are in excellent condition and very clean and it is a SALT water pool! What a treat to not have to swim in chlorinated water! Back yard is truly an oasis and so relaxing to sit amongst the lights and plants and fire pit at night. The owner has thought of everything and that is a rarity in the vacation rental world. The beach and access to Pacific Coast Highway is literally a few minutes down the road. There is no local hotel, fancy or otherwise that can compete with this home for value, privacy, quiet and comfort. Vrbo needs to offer the option of more than Five stars. A real gem. Do not hesitate.

Nice secluded getaway tucked into a quiet neighborhood with newly renovated and updated amenities. House was clean, well equipped, very cozy, great outdoor area, secluded and private, new appliances, fresh paint and comfortable beds. I wish I was staying longer but I will definitely be back!

Jan definitely understands the needs of her guests! The house was stocked with good toilet paper, paper towels, zip locks, dish soap, dishwasher soap, foil, plastic wrap, and wash cloths! So often when renting a VRBO I find that you have to purchase all of the above. Kitchen was stocked and it was easy to prepare meals. We really enjoyed using the pool with our family. Beds, bedding and towels were all nice quality and comfortable. My only recommendation is one of the bedrooms was rather large and could have easily accommodated a King size bed instead of a a Queen. Jan is easy to contact and responds quickly. It was a very pleasant stay with plenty of room for everyone. We spent most of our time out on the patio around the pool. We even entertained my niece’s family for dinner a couple of times. The location was perfect, close to everything, Side Car Donuts and Plums Cafe are 2 of my daughters favorites! Also having 2 parking spaces was great as street parking gets filled up. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Thank you for sharing your house Jan!

We travelled from Australia and was looking for a property close to 17th street. The location was perfect the neighbourhood beautiful and quiet. The Host was AMAZING so helpful and very fast responses. The house it’s self was perfect the kids spent loads of time in the heated pool and spa, lots of towels were available which is very helpful. The beds and the linen were very comfy! The house was spotless and the 2 bathrooms and kitchen were beautiful. LOVED this property would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family house in this area.

Although it may have been better to stay on the beach for some, this home was a perfect location for us. The pool and hot tub were amazing, the off street parking was great and the host was so communicative and helpful. The house is literally 10 min from the beachy tourist area, but gets you away from the noise. Loved it!

My family and I stayed four great nights in this fabulous house in Costa Mesa. Janelle was great to work with and communicated frequently with us both before and during our stay. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Disneyland and 45 minutes from LA / Hollywood, this home has a great pool and hot tub for unwinding after a long day seeing sights. Small disclaimer, my daughter read a review for this property that mentioned a spider or spiders in or around the house, but we didn’t see a single one for our entire four day stay. All in all, I would highly recommend this home. My highest rating for value / convenience / ease of check in and check out / cleanliness / comfort. It checked every box!

We had another girl stop by for the day. The outdoor space is great! The pool was a bit chilly this time of year but we were able to lower the temperature in the hot tub and had a blast. The kitchen/dining/living was a perfect size for the 5/6 of us. Plus, it’s just adorable. Rooms and bathrooms were good size and everything felt clean and modern. Nice fluffy towels and great kitchen supplies. Jan, the property manager was on top of it and answers texts right away. The location is great. Tons of restaurants around and very close to the beach/downtown Newport. We had dinner Saturday night at Javier’s and it was a quick 20 minute drive. The bride was extremely happy. We all wished we would have stayed one more day!

Unfortunately the property wasn’t what we expected. The reviews made it sound like the perfect fit for our family. However, we encountered several spiders throughout the house including in two of the beds. The owner was extremely helpful and let us make a last minute move.

In the interest of avoiding possible exposure to Covid, we opted to cancel our stay at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego and come here instead. We could not be more satisfied with that decision. The interior was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you'd need for a delicious home cooked meal. The backyard featured a firepit with a pool and jacuzzi. Jan, the property manager, was incredibly responsive. The location enabled a less than five-minute drive to the beach or shops/restaurants and if you are coming from out of state, In n Out is right around the corner. Highly recommend this place for a couple retreat or for a family.

Jan was an awesome host. Any small issues that we had she took care of immediately. The house is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and backyard immensely. We look forward to staying here again when we visit in the future!

Great house, tastefully and comfortably renovated with every convenience provided including a very well stocked kitchen. Pool and hot tub great. Very responsive and super helpful communication with the owner. We would stay again.
