Great place to stay; on the last night of our stay a bad storm came through and neighborhood lost power but property had a generator that automatically started and power entire house.

Immaculate, spacious, convenient, comfortable with spectacular sunrises!!! Very convenient to Bar Harbor but away from the crowds! Delicious dining options nearby. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for coffee & to prepare meals. The bed was very comfortable! We so enjoyed hiking & biking in Acadia then returning to relax by the bay!! We would most definitely stay here again!!! A beautiful cabin to relax & renew!

We loved the location of the cottage and the surrounding areas including the Schoodic Peninsula. Things we liked best about the cottage: view, landscaping, privacy, coziness, generator, outdoor amenities including firepit and peaceful neighborhood nice for walking.

This was our second year staying at Couples Cove Cottage and once again our stay was great! We love this cottage, the big, beautiful backyard right on the water (what a view!) and the lovely, walkable neighborhood! It's a perfect location and so peaceful. We spent a lot of time sitting in the backyard chairs just relaxing and watching the water. We saw an eagle just about every day right in the backyard! The cottage was so open, bright and clean! Susan (the Property Manager) was so helpful. We've already booked this place for next year. Thank you to Susan and the property owners for another wonderful stay!

The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. Just as advertised. The only reason we did not enjoy our stay was the weather. Just bad timing. Was bad enough that we left two days early.

The cottage has a lovely view of water and sunrises. The living room and kitchen are open and bright. The manager was very pleasant and responsive. We loved the area! 30 minutes to acadia and schoodic pennisula which you must see!! The only issue was the bathroom is small aa is shower. Otherwise the cottage is wonderful!!!

Perfect house for 2 with a lot of privacy. We especially enjoyed all the great birds around the property. Would definitely return if we came back to the area!

This property is well worth the cost. We woke up every morning to a gorgeous view of the ocean! (Plenty of chairs to take in the bald eagle sightings with a cup of coffee too!) The bed was comfortable, and the cabin is close to Ellsworth, a cute small town. This was our 4th Maine vrbo property, and one of our favorites. You can "turn up the quiet" and will never tire of the perfect location. Highly recommend!

This property is tucked away & feels very private. The mossy property is just gorgeous and the ground is softer than carpet to walk on. It's pretty unbelievable actually. The view of the bay is so lovely and I really could've just sat outside the whole time & enjoyed the environment, if there weren't so many other wonderful things that we wanted to see while visiting Maine. I really can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else if we come back to visit. I definitely recommend staying here if you get a chance.

Amazing views, relaxation, quietness, its was ABOVE our expectations. Super clean, close to nearby towns, delicious restaurants and attractions. Couldnt have asked for anything better, thanks Maine for the memories that will last a lifetime!

We arrived after dark so we didn't get the full impact of the property until the morning. What a great place to wake up in and have coffee down by the water relaxing in the Adirondack chairs! The home is well taken care of and, Susan, the property manager was very helpful and prompt to answer our questions. The property is beautiful and the home is comfortable and well-appointed. We enjoyed our time at Couple Cove and plan to return on our next adventure to Maine! We've already recommended you to several of our friends and relatives. Great place, super clean cozy comfortable. Only negative is the water out of the showers and faucets had a distinctly sulfur like aroma

We absolutely adored this rental. It had everything we needed. The views were amazing. I would sit by the water and watch the loons WW hole drinking my coffee. We went to Acadia everyday which was a short drive. It was so nice to come back and relax. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay at this beautiful little cottage! So peaceful, so many spots to sit and take in the view! Bald eagles visited on a number of occasions, hanging out in the trees right in the back yard! The cabin is clean and well appointed--everything you need to cook meals, including spices and oils. The windows flanked the back of the house so the views were just incredible. It felt so private, we didn't want to leave! Thanks for sharing this property with us!

We so enjoyed our stay here at couples cove cottage! This place was simply wonderful! It was spotless (we've stayed at many vrbos and this place was one of, if not the cleanest home we've been to!) and it had everything we could possibly need! The backyard was big and just beautiful and the views (especially at sunrise) were incredible! It's very private and it was so peaceful and quiet. We walked in/around the neighborhood every day and everyone was so friendly! We saw eagles right in the backyard, what a treat! We found ourselves torn between going to places in the area and just staying home relaxing and enjoying all of the beauty that surrounded us! We like staying on the quiet side of Bar Harbor and did not want to leave this amazing little slice of Heaven in Maine! We hope to come back again; thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!

We stayed here for more than a week. The cottage is functional, with the amenities you want for a vacation stay. It is not fussy and everything in it is intended for use. We liked the location between Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Peninsula. It was quiet and calm. We saw more wildlife at the house than we did hiking, including a bald eagle pair. Perfect spot if you want a quiet getaway.

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay, the views are amazing and so peaceful. The ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor was delightful, the lobster rolls at Watermans are the best. Then exploring ANP at Winter Harbor is worth it! No crowds and nice trails. We can’t wait to return, Susan is very responsive and super helpful.

Loved our stay. What a cozy romantic place for a couples getaway. Susan was prompt at addressing some minor issues during our stay including buying and delivering a brand new grill to the property when we discovered that the prior propane grill would not light. Love watching the Bald Eagles hunting for their dinner along the back of the property! Puffin Cruise in Steuben was fun and Acadia and Bar Harbor were fun day trips within an easy 45 min drive.

This house is great for a relaxing vacation for two. It has lots of outdoor seating and beautiful views of Frenchman Bay and Schoodic Mountain. The kitchen and interior spaces are also very nice, modern and clean.

The property was beautiful! We were so lucky to have such a view. We loved being able to have a large kitchen and fridge so we could cook. The only downside was the smell of the shower water. I’m assuming it’s from either pipes or well water.

We thoroughly loved staying at Couples Cove Cottage. We stayed for four nights during October 2021 and were blessed with lovely weather. We haven't stayed at a nicer rental property. It is set on a beautiful property, right on the water. Very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is stocked with excellent quality equipment...I can't think of anything that we lacked or would have improved. There is a master bedroom with a comfortable queen bed in addition to a study with a desk and couch. There's a large screened in porch with a table and chairs, plus many chairs outside in the backyard. Loved eating breakfast each morning overlooking the bay. It was just a great place to stay. Thanks to the owners for sharing your house with us!

We had such a relaxing getaway here! The house had everything we needed for a week long stay. We woke every morning to the beautiful sunrise on the ocean while listening to the loons. It was such a peaceful home!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the property. The house was well equipped and the view was incredible. While we did not eat at any of the “local” restaurants, Ellsworth is about 20 min away and Bar Harbor about 45 min. Our last day at the house we saw 3 bald eagles perched on the trees by the water. They capped a perfect week!

The listing described perfectly accurately the house. It was in mint condition and had everything one needs. The view from the house and especially the Adirondack chairs was just incredible with bald eagles on the property and seals just a few meters away. Thank for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We will certainly try tk return next year!
