This was the most beautiful cabin! We had an amazing weekend with family. We had everything we needed and it was very family/kid oriented. We appreciated all of the amenities and we would love to book again in the future. Thank you for having us!

This cabin was amazing. My family rents a cabin every year in November to come together to remember my son who passed. He loved the outdoors and the cold forest. So, every year, we take a family trip during Veterans weekend and find a cabin in AZ. We love coming together in a large kitchen, cooking, playing card games, playing outside games in the forest, going on hikes, sitting under the stars in the cold night, barbequing, listening to music, telling stories while making new memories. We did all of that and more. It had all the amenities, and the pictures don't do it justice at all, it is beautiful. The cabin is large enough for a family of 16, and we all had enough space to be together and space to be alone. I definitely, would highly recommend it and give it a 5 star....thank you so much! We had a wonderful time at the slide house. This spacious beautiful home was perfect to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

We celebrated our sons 30th birthday with his two siblings and there spouses, and mother and father in law and 4 grandchildren and 4 fur babies. This place couldn’t have been more perfect. It was nicer in person as the room with the Murphy bed actually has a double door leading into it so it’s private but in the photo I thought it was in an open den. It’s not! Same thing with the bunk room it has barn doors so it’s also private. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everyone said that. The bedrooms downstairs, and in the master bedroom and bunk room were kept very cool. We stayed at one of the hottest times. We saw 7 deer in the backyard. We set up an obstacle course for my sons birthday and the huge space was perfect for that. The finishes were very nice and we cooked all meals.it had everything and more than we could possibly need. I don’t thing I have ever stayed at another Vrbo that I didn’t say I wish they had that. Lisa was very accommodating and answered quite a few questions I had. Very promptly at that. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend his cabin to anyone!

Our family loved staying at the Slide House! We had 8 adults and 1 older teen, there was room for everyone! We enjoyed the multiple living spaces where we could hang out, visit and play games together. My favorite was the back patio. It’s spacious and the view is beautiful and private. Another thing we appreciated was the A/C! It was fairly warm outside during the day and we stayed very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this for larger families or groups.

3 different sets of our family stayed here, including a 1.5 year old. It was excellent, especially for kids. They have high chair, crib, kids utensils, baby gate, etc etc. And so many shared spaces, we had room to come together, but also have alone time if needed. Property is large. Saw so many deer last morning. Beds were so comfortable, and that’s so big for us. There really did provide all that would be needed. Only bummer was there is no kids play set. That was a selling point for us on the house. I know there is a park near by, and we used it, but we were looking forward to a play set on site. Many other yard activities. Again, overall, a wonderful property and would for sure recommend. It is stunning and quite perfect for a large group. Seriously, book this place. Walk to the lake! Thank you!

Great equipped kitchen, awesome fireplaces (2) and room for 3 ladies to have their own bed and bathroom. Easy check in and out. Spacious mudroom and ample hooks for cold gear. Replies with Lisa regarding topics were very responsive. Our suggestions to go from 4-5 star would be to 1) to have an enclosed fenced area for dog 2) to remove "perfumed" trash bags, towels/sheets. 3) Even though this is on 3 acres - neighbors dog barked a lot in the evening...other neighbor dogs barked early in the morning, and 4) front yard septic smell.

What an amazing house, we throughly enjoyed our stay, the house was everything we expected (and more) lots of space for the kids to play, a great back yard to explore! We loved the fireplace room to relax in the evenings, we highly recommend, thank you!

The pictures on this listing don't do this property justice. It's beyond beautiful. The kitchen is great for large families, everyone has a place. Also every bedroom has a TV (except the office/murphy bed) and little heater. They had a plenty of toys and the kids probably played Frisbee golf outside for about 9 hours day. This property was also very clean. One of the best properties I've ever stayed at. Thank you

This property was by far my favorite! The house was big enough for my large group. We had 10 adults & 5 kids and everyone had room to spread out and have space but the spaces were large enough that we could all gather and have fun together. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The kids had fun exploring around the huge lot. We will definately be back!

The Ladies and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in the woods. Plenty of room for all 10 of us! We enjoyed watching the deer walking through the back yard in mornings. We couldn't have asked for a better location and home. And thank you Lisa for your quick replies to all my emails!! And the weather was perfect. We would rent this home again in a heartbeat.

Deer came right up to the property and kids got to watch them and we all enjoyed our time there ! Definitely would stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay with the extended family! The house was spacious. The outdoor decks and scenery were beautiful. We appreciated the huge and fully stocked kitchen. It was also quite kid friendly. The house made for a great weekend getaway!

This is a great place to get away from the heat and enjoy a weekend in Show Low. Feels like you are in the middle of the Forrest but 5 minutes from all you need in town.

We were impressed with the professionalism of the owners and property manager to handle our situation, quickly and simply drop off a couple for room fans for the house.
