The home was clean and wqell maintained and extremely well equipped. (The only missing is that one of the propane tanks on the two grills was empty and we didn't check it in advance -- so just be sure to do so). The primary kitchen was well equipped for creating meals. Big plus was the beach access directly across the street.

We loved getting the handtowel in the towel package. The only thing we were a little disappointed in that ALL supplies were wiped clean from the house. Rentals that we have used in the past, will leave the extras of some dish soap supplies from the previous, some spices for use with future guests. This had nothing.. We brought all of our supplies, and like leaving for future, but was hesitant, not knowing that they would be left for the next guest. Hot tub was a blessing after the round of Golf at Hells Point. After a scheduling mixup ( I was looking at the 2023 calendar when I booked) , the property managers were able to find a last minute house for our group. I booked it sight unseen since we were heading down to spend Thanksgiving with my daughter who was about to deploy. The pictures do not do this house justice…it is bigger and so much better than the online pictures. All the rooms were carefully made up with Potterybarn-type furniture, the kitchen was huge and open with 2 dishwashers and a great supply of gadgets, tools and dishes. The location across fro the ocean was snazibg

My family all enjoyed themselves in this beautiful home. Everything was perfect and the location is perfect. If I had to pick something I didn't like it would have to be the telephone poles and wires spoiling the view of the beautiful sunrises from the balcony. We would definitely rebook again for another family vacation.

Viewing the sunrise from the decks with a cup of coffee was amazing! We were a group of 12 plus 2 kids the house was very spacious, the dining table allowed all of us to eat together. Then there’s the kitchen... it was not the gourmet kitchen one would expect for such a lovely home. There were very little cooking supplies and the items supplied were in bad condition. The kitchen needs some upgrades. The other area lacking at this rental is the backyard. It also needs some TLC. Multiple family members would feel a tingle shock when touching the entire side of the pool closes to the house.

I must admit Spinnaker is the only vacation home I ever wanted to rent again. So I booked it for September of 2023 . There was 14 of us , 10 adults and 4 kids ages 2 to 14 and a couple of dogs. The back fenced in yard was great for letting the dogs out . The house was clean , the only things I noticed that the house needed was a couple new frying pans and the bathroom with the sliding pocket door needs a few repairs.

Rented through VRBO and communicated with Ocean Sands Realty Virginia Beach, Jordan, to confirm reservation. They were very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house was great and the location superb as it was so close to the beach. For a large group , this place is ideal!!

The location was perfect!, right across the street from the (no steps) beach access!. We had unobstructed views of the ocean. We only had on issue with the kitchen faucet which was fixed quickly. We were notified before our arrival that the hot tub was broken. It was fixed during our stay so we got to enjoy that for the second half of the week.The kitchen could use some extra supplies, for a house that accommodates up to 24 people, there could be more silverware (forks), plates, mugs and the cookware could be expanded also.Overall, it was a great house and we had a memorable vacation week. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to Sandbridge or the Spinnaker house. Unfortunately, Ocean Sands Realty does not give current renters the option to rebook the following year, this house is already booked for next year before we even left. ;((In our past experience, the current renters had until the day after checkout to rebook or hold for the same week the following year. )

Wi-Fi was big issue, first 2 days we didn’t have internet access. Maintenance crew were very prompt. We enjoy our stay.

The check in/out instructions were clear and the procedures were efficient. My family enjoyed the large kitchen and dining table which allowed us to gather and interact regularly in the home. TVs were placed in each room with cable and streaming services, enabling the bedtime routine to feel like home. There were plenty of kitchenware and grill utensils available and public beach access was right across the street. Many members of the family expressed how impressed they were with the property and we will appreciate the memories for years to come.

I spent hours on the phone with Beach Pros making sure it would happen, (the travel insurance we bought was no help), The house was the perfect size, layout and location for 19 of us (6 kids), but our planned 24 people would have been a squeeze. Problems: Though I asked, the rental agent never told us about all the beach equipment in the garage, and as a result we bought and brought too much of our own. The house also needed a good handyman to go through it and check on the pool, furniture and sinks, change some light bulbs, and clean the grills (the latter a hazard that cracked a window when lit, from grease from that had collected).

The house was old and required 5 contractors to disrupt our stay for reasons such as broken toilets, thermostats not working etc. the greatest disappointment was the electrical shock you received when trying to use the pool. Also, the pool area was littered with wood pieces with nails sticking up and broken glass. We were told by Beach Pro Realty that this is “part of the Sandbridge experience.” This is not true as we have rented here before and not had this issue. We were in constant contact with Beach Pro and promised some compensation by the owner, but nothing has ever been done. I have rented at the beach for the past 15 years and never had such a terrible experience. Btw... this was a $14,000 a week home so more was expected!!

The house has tons of space and does sleep 20+. The property just hasn’t been very well maintained. Lots of issues in the house. We had problems with the AC. Big window on 2nd floor leaked like crazy when it rained. Spouting all around the house leaks and is clogged. Water pours over the spouting. The yard is a mess. Rocks and sand mix. Rocks and sand around the pool end up in the pool. Grass would be nice. There is plenty of deck and pool chairs. Biggest concern is the electric around the pool. If you are in the pool and touch the wet concrete on the east (house side) of the pool, you get a low voltage shock. Everyone experienced it. Likely and issue with the ground on the pool light. There are water stains on the ceiling. The fridge is the kitchen is way too small for a main level fridge that servers 20+. There is another fridge downstairs that comes in handy by the pool. The area is great. Much quieter and much less congested than the Corolla. Beach was awesome and is directly across from the house. The house has excellent beach access. Sanbridge Beach is pet friendly and a great beach for the whole family. The beach was never crowded. Plenty of space for everyone. In conclusion, house was fine but for the money we paid, expectations were much higher. I could have flown the entire family to Maui for a week for the price we paid.

There are three doors to the pool area which should have alarms that beep when the door is opened. The fire extinguisher in the ground level kitchen is on empty. The outside area has no shade in the afternoon and no shrubbery or anything to allow for shade. The front balcony is very wobbly.There was a huge stain on the wall in the master bedroom-looked like an exploded coke or something. Pieces of siding need to be replaced. It sounds like a lot of complaining but these are just minor things in the grand scheme of the house. We really enjoyed our stay.
