From the time of booking all the way through checkout, Mike & Patti could not have been better hosts. They are extremely thorough with details, lightning fast to respond to inquiries before and during the stay, and cared about every detail being perfect for us during our vacation in their beautiful home. The home itself is beautiful and has every amenity you could possibly need on vacation. I highly recommend renting a boat and using the awesome dock in front of the home to cruise the canal system and venture out into the Gulf. Quiet neighborhood, close to 47th terrace with all of the fun restaurants and bars. Overall would highly recommend this vacation home if you are looking for a large, comfortable, and affordable vacation home for your friends and family.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The house is very well laid out with privacy for each bedroom and cable TV in each bedroom. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and pool (heated) -- it was wonderful. This home had all of the necessities you need to prepare a meal as well as anything you need to go to the beach. We loved it and we hope to be back again soon. Mike and Patti were very responsive.

When booking online we thought Congo Breeze would be the perfect place for our family to come together. We were not disappointed. Congo Breeze is even more beautiful than the images depict. Not only beautiful but Mike and Patti have thought of everything a guest would need while away from their own home. Seriously, all one needs is to go to the grocery store and get food and drink. Everything else is provided and I do mean EVERYTHING!. We have stayed at a few (can't say the name in a review) :) over the years and Mike and Patti of Congo Breeze surpassed them ALL. We had thought of booking elsewhere in the area; we are so happy we did not. We cannot express the gratitude we have for Congo Breeze and Mike and Patti for their attention to detail and the exceptional communication through the process and during our stay. You will not be disappointed if you book the Congo Breeze. Instead you will rebook, like we have. Do not pass up this excellent location and home for your next getaway.

Love this beautiful house. I fell in love with this house from the inside out. So nice and clean very big and spacious. They have everything there so you don’t have to go buy extra things. My kids went out to the back to fish and they had so much fun and my younger girls loves the pool. I would really recommend renting this house. I would love to buy this house. Beautiful home❤️

Patti and mike were very helpful throughout the vacation. Congo breeze is an amazing property. Even though we had a hurricane cause some weather issues midway through the trip the house had plenty to do to keep us entertained . We made many memories in this home and hope to come back again. Mike and patti you are the best. Greatly appreciate all the help and communication through out the stay to make us feel comfortable!

Congo Breeze is Amazing!! Perfect location, beautifully decorated, totally equipped for your perfect get-a-way! Patti and Mike are AWESOME host that make you feel like part of their family. They even ordered new floats for the pool during our stay:). Our family of 10 (8 adults and 2 children) had the best time relaxing by the pool and just hanging out together playing pool, ping pong and watching movies. The home is equipped with all the extras for a true vacation down to the expresso machine for those expresso martinis for dessert:). We rented the boat for the week which allowed us to explore the area and visit different restaurants and beaches. Truly an amazing trip that we will forever remember!! Definitely on our list to return😊

Amazing place! Very spacious. Clean. Perfect location for nice walks in the morning, close to grocery stores and bait shops, nice dock. Patti recommended a boat rental: Captian Manni’s Executive Boats LLC. (Great Experience)- they can pick up your boat from Patti’s boat dock if you choose to spend an extra $100. Well worth it. One of our favorite things we did each night besides night fishing- was play pool. So nice to have a pool table indoors to keep you cool. This was our 8th family vacation, 9 total- everyone voted BEST PLACE so far… we will be back. Highly recommend. Owners are absolutely lovely and very kind.

This house is truly amazing along with the owners!! The moment my family arrived we were in awe of how beautiful the house was!! Once we got settled and realized everything that the house had to offer we felt right at home! You literally have the best of everything! We relaxed and played games it the pool, had a corn hole tournament every day,enjoyed the dock and rented a boat for 4 days and just overall had the best vacation. The owners provided everything you can think of from plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, bath and beach towels. It was SO nice to not have to run to the store for those types of basics! I hope my family and I are lucky enough to visit this home again!

This place was absolutely perfect! The pictures of it were beautiful, but pulling up and seeing the property in person was the best! It is gorgeous inside and out. We had 10 in our group and the house allowed us all the space we needed. Not to mention the outdoor area was breathtaking! The owners were fantastic to work with! Anytime we had a question they replied right back. This is definitely a place we will stay again!

From the moment we booked until the the moment we left communication with the owners was top notch. We have stayed at 5 or 6 other vacation rentals in this area and this one has exceeded them all. The home is absolutely perfect-the location perfect and the amenities were above all others. We had all ages from adults to teens to an infant and they really have made this home accommodating for everyone. Plenty to do at the home and plenty to do in the area. Short drive to Fort Myers Beach and Cape Harbour. House was extremely clean and just really absolutely perfect! We used the pool, hot tub, ping pong table, kayak, baggo boards, TV, speakers and everything was in perfect condition. It was hard to leave...Thank you to the Bartels for sharing their beautiful place with us! We will definitely book this again. We loved it all!

Beautiful property, modern electronics, very well maintained, great beds. Owner was great to work with and answered all our questions from quickly. We had a group of 11 people from our church who came to Ft Myers with 8 Days of Hope as part of a mission trip to rebuild in the Harlem Heights area. This home was perfect for our group who had adults of all ages. Pool, hot tub, and pool table were all big hits at the end of a long day!

This Home was absolutely perfect! It accommodated our family of 14 perfectly. It was super clean and very well equipped. We fully enjoyed the pool and amenities of the home. We rented a boat for the week and jet skis which we were able to dock right at the house. I am so amazed at how well stocked the home was!!! That truly made this home stand out! It’s a 5 min drive to the grocery store and short drive to beaches and restaurants. Patricia was an amazing host. She answered every single question and was prompt with all of her responses. We hope to be back very soon! Thank you so much for allowing our family to stay at the Congo home. It will be forever memorable!

My family had the best week staying at Congo Breeze! The house is equipped with everything you might possibly need during your vacation, from kitchen tools to pool toys! The house was big enough for our crew to sleep comfortably (9 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers). The pool and lanai are even better than the great pictures, and we had so much fun enjoying them and the Florida sunshine! We also used the bikes, they were in great condition. Mike and Patti were very available and quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend staying at this property, we'd all love to go back!

This home is beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer. It would be perfect for a family or a group of friends. Very spacious and everything you need. We will definitely go back. The owners were great to help with anything you needed.

We are a group of 65+ year old gals that went to high school together. For the last several years we have rented houses in SWF for a gathering of fun and catching up. Congo Breeze has set the bar. The amenities are A+. All we needed to bring was food and refreshments. In the past we would head out to dinner, shopping, a little sight seeing. At Congo Breeze, we didn’t leave the property as it has so much to offer. (With the exception of a beer run). Pictures on line do not do the property justice. There is not one negative I could say about the property - it is truly Paradise!

I am pleased to rate our 2 week stay at "Congo Breeze" with 5 stars. The house is immaculate and was completely stocked with all the essentials for every day living. We had a total of 6 people (3 adult couples), who have several VRBO stays under our belts and this one is the best. Communication with the owner was exceptional. All our questions were answered immediately. The location was close to many restaurants and shopping which gave us more time to just enjoy the house and the fabulous heated pool. We enjoyed our meals on the patio, especially dinner one evening using the gas grill which had a full propane tank ready for us. To top it off, the weather was perfect, which made for a most enjoyable and relaxing 2 week vacation.

This place is amazing. The layout of this home is great with a larger group. There are different games to play and the pool is amazing. Patti and Mike will respond immediately to your questions. We will be back!! Thanks so much!

This house is everything g you could want. Spacious, comfortable, owners extremely attentive. The only house I want to stay at when I visit Cape Coral! It has everything you need or want.

We are currently living in Cape Coral. My family and I usually rent 2 to 3 homes a yr. This home is by far the BEST home we have rented. Everything went so smoothly from the beginning to the end. Patti was always available at anytime of any day. Home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Super easy gulf access for us boat lovers. Large spacious rooms surround sound throughout the home even outside by the pool. Pool was awesome and hot tub. We will definitely be returning to this home very soon. My family had a great time. We rented 4 jet skis that we could tie up at the dock. Cool off, eat, play pool, swim and put a 1000 piece puzzle together. Just a great place for the family to enjoy each other in a best of best accommodations.

The property was the perfect spot to enjoy Cape Coral, Florida with friends & family. The experience was pleasant from check in to checkout. Property owner was very responsive and accommodating to any questions or details.

I can not say enough about this property and the care we felt while making the reservation as well as during our stay! I titled it million dollar moments because in our family we call the such special moments you can’t replace million dollar moments. I couldn’t have imagined a better family vacation!!! My little ones will have so many amazing memories that will last a life time!

This property is everything in the listing and more. The pictures were spot on. The property was immaculate and updated. It was VERY CLEAN and the pool was amazing. Everyone in our 10 person party (aged 1-67) enjoyed all of the amenities, including the kayak, fishing poles and sand chairs. We highly recommend this property!
