We picked this so we could walk out to the beach without having to get to the elevator. Really helpful when you have young kids who may only want to stay at the beach for short periods of time. That worked really well. Slight down side: you are right over the parking garage, which, strangely can be seen from the bedroom window (not sure what the developers were thinking). That means the light from the garage shines in (we always bring a black out curtain and temporary hooks when we go to vacation rentals). You could also hear conversations below very well if you sleep with the windows open (as one does when staying ocean front). We were there off-season, so not a big issue. But i can imagine it could be disturbing in busier months. Overall it worked out really well though. Hard to tell from pictures, but you can see the ocean well. The space was modern, clean, and comfortable. Third bedroom is basically a small den off the main living area, so something to consider if you plan to have kids in that room. Most sea colony places we have stayed are like this though. Really bare bones: no sheets, no towels, no soap products, no paper products. Again, pretty standard for sea colony rentals around here. You can rent that stuff through the host, which worked well for us. Just FYI. All this is made clear clear in the posting so hard to hold that against them in terms of rating. Overall: 4.5. Not quite 4 stars and not quite 5 stars. Would stay again though!

We had a great time.

The property is very nice and comfortable, and most importantly it was clean! It's nice having the first floor access right out to the beach. There were however some significant inconveniences that I was unaware of prior to coming to stay. One being that the washer and dryer were not working. The owner indicated that she might be able to get into one of the other units to do laundry, but she never contacted me about that and I ended up needing to go to a laundromat. The other was a day without power because the power company decided early September was a good time to perform maintenance. I was promised a small refund for the inconvenience but haven't seen that yet.

The place was decorated nicely and very roomy. My only complaints are that the shower stall needs to be replaced and the dresser in the queen room. Other than that everything was fantastic.

The first floor, central location of this Sea Colony condo was ideal. Communication with the owners was easy and fast. We all had a wonderful time!

We’ve stayed in several sea colony rentals and this one is the best! Perfect for a family! Close to the beach, the pool and the deli!

Property was perfect for our family of 6. Loved the beachfront location, which allowed us a great view of the ocean, even though chilly and rainy several days during our May visit. Condo was clean, comfortable and kitchen well stocked for meal preparation. We enjoyed amenities throughout Sea Colony as well as close by restaurants. Property manager was great and instantly answered our various texts and emails. We would definitely return to this property!

I took my terminally ill mother here for a long weekend. I don’t think I could have found a more perfect place! It was so cute and spacious. It was also extremely handicapped accessible which is almost impossible to find. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be staying here again! The owner, Donna, was so sweet and communicative. One of my best trips by far!

We have 1 year old (14 months) twin girls and this was perfect! Just loaded the stroller or tote and we easily stayed busy with fun activities from morning to night. Ground floor was perfect for us. While the babies napped we could sit out on the expanded deck area with the monitor and be close enough to get easily to the babies. The unit was nice and everything we needed was within walking distance. Donna was quickly responsive to our questions before we left for the vacation and the clerk at check in was kind, friendly and heck, loved on our twins, so had good taste. Thank you to our host. The whole experience was wonderfully relaxing.

The location cannot be beat! Literally steps from the beach and pools! Host was very responsive and texted us updates regarding the property, and offered an early check in, since it was ready for us a bit early. We certainly appreciated that. Would absolutely rent this property again.

We would stay at this property again because of its location and off season rate. The beds were comfortable and the TVs were a great bonus for the evenings. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, glassware, pot and pans etc, but was lacking a few other items we would consider basics. There was no dish detergent, so we had to purchase that or leave dirty dishes. It would also have been helpful to have foil, plastic wrap, or even some cooking oil on hand. The check in directions were wordy, repetitive, and down right confusing. It would be much simpler to say the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe check in is to the left of Fins Restaurant. The property location is behind Dunkin. We would have liked at least a bath mat so when we got out of the shower, the floor wasn't cold and wet. The location and amenities were wonderful, though we were surprised at the registration fee and did not remember reading about it beforehand.

Extra fees for registration and sheets. Wonderful decor and supplied kitchen.
