Great views in a cabin overlooking the Mississippi. The cabin was super cozy with all the amenities needed for basic comfort. Great for small families or people just looking for a quiet house in the bluffs

We were looking for a little get away and were not disapointed. Nice sunsets, couple of fires,and star gazing.

Amazing views great location and clean and cozy!

My significant other and I wanted to get away to see the Fall colors and have sometime together since the kids are now in school. The views did not disappoint. The cabin was cozy and well decorated. There is alot of space inside and privacy to be had. The only disappointments we had were having no coffee/creamer (the machine also requires bottled water), the lower level bed is not comfortable, is loud and killed our back (I actually went to the couch in the middle of the night), the outdoor furniture is not made to be sat on long term and the firewood was not cut nor close to where the fire pit is located. Thankfully we had an ax in the back of the truck to cut some up. Just added to the excitment but people should be made aware of this prior to coming. Otherwise, beautiful place and had a great time.

Well kept, nicely decorated cabin with gorgeous views. Our toddler loved the play area and having her own little space. It was also great that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog and enjoy some nearby hiking and family time outside. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice weekend in the Driftless!

As we approached the cabin, we exclaimed ”Wow, look at that view!” Everything was so beautiful, tastefully decorated and equipped with all we needed for a relaxing stay. Thank you!

We had a great stay at the cabin! If you're looking for a remote cabin that has a phenomenal view, then this is the place for you. The back deck and fire pit were highlights of the property. It was really nice to just kick back and relax in a very quiet spot!

No need to overpack! The cabin literally has everything you’re looking for with a wide range of kitchen utensils, bedding and out door tools. But best off all is the kitchen picture window. You really can’t beat that view!

This log cabin was the perfect place for a little get away. It has an awesome view over the river and decorated to make you feel at home. The drive up to the cabin is so neat! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Joe’s got it dialed in, folks. This property is pristine. Beautifully updated, spotless, bright, spacious. The details are thought out completely. Everything u need, nothing you don’t. Hang out on that deck and all you hear is either the birds during the day or the crickets at night. Even the occasional distant train far below the ridge was a pleasant sound. Joe is super responsive if you text him for anything. The house is secure and the property very private. Friendly folks who live around wave as you pass. The towns of De Soto and Lansing are both quaint and calm. You need to seriously get away and relax for a few? I’m telling ya, this is the spot. 100/10, would/will stay here again.

This Property had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. Close proximity to boat launch. Great View. House was amazing and well stocked with everything you could need. Fun restaurants nearby. We had a fantastic time and plan to return.

Was as represented. Gorgeous views, lovely property. Convenient location. it should be noted that bedrooms are either up or down stairs so if stairs are a problem for you, you should take that into account. temperature variations are as noted in the prior review, so, if you are sensitive to that, you should take that into consideration as well. Well-kept and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Responsive owner. I would recommend for a great stay! Peaceful and fun watching the birds.

Comfortable furniture. Great for down time and bird watching during migration. Quiet. Dog owners should pay more for better cleanup of fur on furniture and floors. Needs dual handrails suitable to help get up and down steep stairs. Very warm upstairs and cold downstairs. My friends said they would stay again. Nice kitchen area and living room. Great showers.

Beautiful cabin! We have never used VRBO before. This host literally has thought of everything from clear instructions on everything in the cabin, checkout process, and having things available that you always don’t think of packing like bottle openers. The area we stayed in was a close drive to many places to explore: Lansing, Prairie Du Chien, Lacrosse, Viroqua. The view from the Cabin was phenomenal .

Everything met or exceed expectations. The view was great. The children’s books and toys were thoughtfully selected and was a great way to spend the time when not outside.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary gadgets to prepare our meals. The bedrooms and living room were comfortable and inviting. The view from the dinning room/kitchen was breathtaking! The location was great for going out and exploring the Driftless area. We highly enjoyed our weekend getaway and hope to return for another stay; hopefully a few days longer.

Beautiful location sitting on a bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi. The property was also very nice. Nice size kitchen if you enjoy cooking! I only wish we could’ve used the pot belly stove. We stayed in January and it would’ve been nice. We were told we couldn’t use it for insurance reasons, but there were instructions for guests on how to use it. A little confusing.. All in all, we’d love to come back in the summer with our Kayaks.

Four of us stayed in the cabin for a long weekend. Plenty of room and very comfortable for everyone. Really enjoyed having Alexa. Played our favorite music while we play many hands of cards. Would definitely recommend the property to our friends.

Everything about this stay was wonderful! The view can't be beat and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and responsive and I will definitely be back. It was a great stay and I highly recommend this site.

Great cabin on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in the heart of the Driftless region!

We stayed three nights in this comfortable, cozy house. Great views out the main floor windows looking for eagle and watching it snow. The driveway was plowed immediately after it stopped snowing and we had no trouble getting out. We enjoyed using the woodstove and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would certainly stay again.
