Very cozy house, it feels like home and super close to the beach. Nice neighborhood. Easy to communicate with the host. Super recommended!

Spacious, clean, and well-stocked. Our children loved the toys and bunk bedroom downstairs. It's short drive from the Galveston Island State Park, where you can either enjoy the beach or check out some nature on the bay side. The neighborhood is close to small restaurants and a nice coffee shop, and is quite walkable. If you would like a place to stay in Jamaica Beach, this should be it.

The house was exactly as described and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. There was a minor maintenance issue upon arriving, but a knowledgeable handyman was sent out and within about an hour the issue was resolved. Lots of little nice touches made us super comfortable during the stay. My one recommendation is that the queen size metal bed on the bottom floor squeaks every time you move or turn and its loud enough to wake you up if youre a light sleeper. Maybe some W-D 40 would help?

This property was perfect for our weekend stay and had everything we needed. Queen beds in all 3 adult rooms, and the kids bunk room was a nice addition! Short golf cart drive to the beach and nice seating area outside to relax. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Curious Canary!! Such a cute property!! We loved having everything we needed just like we would at home!! Thanks for having the beach toys, the kids had so much fun!! Very clean, family friendly! Loved having the outdoor shower!! Plus pet friendly!! Such a fun trip!!

This property was just as it was stated. We had a wonderful time and the location was perfect. Only a short drive or walk to the beach. Lots of space and plenty of room for the whole family.

The property was exactly las described! The booking and check in was painless. Plenty of room and having 4 bedrooms was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Will definitely be returning later this year with plans to stay longer. We have nothing bad to report and would recommend to our family’s and friends.

I like this house it was the best but it needed a little bit of cleaning in the bathrooms but everything was else was good.

Very easy to get it booked and the place was in a very quite serene place to hang with family , off the beaten path of crowds and commercial businesses, but not so far you that you couldn’t do the busy fun things, the beach was great and easy to access, would stay again !

Home away from home!
Loved this property it was close to the beach and everything we needed!!! We had a great time lots of fun family things to do close by and even at the house. Property was super clean and property owners were very helpful throughout the entire stay and check in process.

Highly recommend this property. Easy access to the beach. There is a coffee shop and restaurants nearby. Galveston is only 20 min away with lots to do. I would stay here again.

We have stayed at NUMEROUS homes in Galveston and this one by far, is the best. We love the layout and privacy. The dining room table allowed us all to eat together and play games. The owners were the absolute best. Thank you again for a fabulous stay!
