This home is a serene retreat with all the comfort and amenities needed for a weekend or longer stay. The windows and natural light are wonderful for viewing wildlife; and decks and terraces beckon you to linger with morning coffee, or late afternoon cocktail. For those coming from out of the area, the hillside canyon neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (no traffic noise). Perfect location to stay if you plan to explore Topanga Canyon or head over to Malibu.

it's a lovely space, the only real problem was that my daughter wanted to bring over her Grandma, but since there are steep steps coming from the garage or entering from the street above she was unable to negotiate the stairs. But unless you have an issue with going up and down stairs you should be 100% happy :-)

This place is magical! The vibe of the entire property is lovely, bright and uplitfing. There is such wonderful attention to detail and use of space, which makes the energy flow so well that it feels good anywhere you choose to enjoy a moment. The neighboring town of Topanga was so enjoyable as well. Great food, cool artistic area with fun shops. AJ's recommendations in the welcome book were top notch! From the moment you step up into the garden, you are literally transformed. The place is incredibly clean, incredibly peaceful and all your needs are carefully thought out. We had a great experience for the few days that were there. Plus, awesome water pressure, a bidet, wonderful art and an all around calming and relaxing atmosphere.

Highly recommend! Perfect location tucked into a hillside surrounded by mature Aleppo Pines and Live Oaks. You truly feel isolated with plenty of options to just sit down, relax and focus on what matters. Great kitchen! The succulent gardens were amazing! One of our favorite VRBO experiences to date! (My wife and I traveling with our 18 year old and 12 year old.)

First of all AJ is the most responsive host I've ever worked with! I had to change the date of my stay and she made it so incredibly easy for me. The place itself is just lovely. Perfect for a getaway to reset, meditate and unwind. And the location is gorgeous. Feel so remote and yet it's a hope skip and a jump to anything you would need convenience wise. This house is even prettier than the pictures! So cozy and quiet with so many thoughtful touches to make you feel right at home. Love the decorating and aesthetic. Very clean. The beds are super comfortable. AJ was available and attentive when needed. We would definitely return.

The tiniest of details are attended to at this beautiful home. It’s like you walked yourself right into the pages of a magazine. We simply loved this property. It was perfect for us. Putting aside that it is filled with California charm (and a decorator's touch)... it had everything we needed! AJ was a terrific host and helped us get acquainted with the neighborhood; we loved the location - close to necessities but also close to hiking in Topanga, which is the reason we ventured to this area. I would be back here in a heartbeat. ps - you can't beat coffee on the bedroom porch, or cocktail hour on the deck. Heaven.

AJs home ( tree house) is a slice of heaven, everything you want in her home is there. From the comfy beds to the outside patio heater the succulent garden is amazing. When in LA we will stay here again

Clean, very well equipped house. It has everything you need! Appliances, furniture, kitchen all top line and new. Loved sitting out on the deck. Definitely some stairs getting to the house but worth it for the views and calming nature of the area. Owner very responsive. Beautiful area to explore.

We have had the good fortune of staying in fabulous rental properties but this one was next level. Surrounded by trees with multiple outdoor seating areas. The decor is like a Weat Elm showroom. I was discovering thoughtful touches throughout our 5 day stay. We were so happy to have a couple rainy days so we could just stay inside and enjoy this exquisite house without feeling guilty about missing the infinite options of fun around us. First, AJ went above and beyond to help me book her property after having trouble with air b n b. She replied instantly to all my messages. The house itself is so charming and well equipped. The meditation room is picture perfect and the best place for a nap. The kitchen was a dream with beautiful plates and glassware and all the utensils one would need. This is one of the best VRBO places we have ever rented. The home was perfect! It’s very relaxing and beautifully decorated. It has everything you would ever need to make a great meal and two amazing locations to eat your meal with your family. The outdoors was a great place to sit at night and enjoy a glass of wine, listen to music and look at the stars. Also AJ the SUPERHOST was wonderful to work with😊

The Zen Treehouse is well stocked, well designed and in a lovely location. I brought my Mom for a Mother Daughter weekend and to attend a wedding in Augora Hills. What a perfect location! Very comfortable beds, relaxing rooms and beautiful outdoor patio - very peaceful. AJ was very responsive and helpful - we felt well taken care of!

Our family of four had a terrific half-week stay in the Treehouse. Such a great location: within striking distance of conveniences but feels like a world away from the valley and LA suburbia that's just a few miles from the property. Beautiful design aesthetic and wonderful touches all around the house and property! Very much appreciated the fast and helpful communication with AJ throughout our stay.

This was a wonderful home to celebrate our family birthdays and spend time together! The kitchen was amazing along with a great grill. We cooked many meals and enjoyed the outdoor and indoor atmosphere! The decor was fresh, relaxing, comfortable and beautiful. We felt like we were truly in a treehouse!

The property is very special, exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and is beautifully decorated. In short, it is the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with family and friends. Communication with the host was smooth and easy and not a single detail is overlooked. The location and house make a great home base for exploring the area, but are also perfect for those just wanting a cozy place to stay in and relax. I can't recommend the Zen Treehouse enough and we look forward to another stay as soon as we can make it happen.

We stayed here for 5 nights on a mother-daughter trip to LA and absolutely loved it. Beautifully decorated, just as pictures show. Multiple outdoor sitting spaces to enjoy the California weather with a book or with a glass of wine and conversation. AJ was super responsive and very welcoming. Zero complaints - would absolutely stay here on next trip to LA.

Stunning , Cozy, House.The Canyon Roads were a little challenging for us older Adults. The Nest thermostat was difficult to adjust.House got hot upstairs at night,would have like another bedroom fan.But overall a Beautiful House with Great views

This retreat home is a hidden gem in Woodland Hills. As described by previous visitors, everything is immaculately decorated from the moment you step foot on the property. AJ was prompt in her communication from the moment I inquired about the property and left no stone unturned when it came to showcasing the beauty of this charming home and providing for her guests. The natural light, especially in the mornings, is outstanding. The kitchen and living room deserves to have a spot on the pages of Architectural Digest, and the bathrooms come equipped with a top of the line bidet, fantastic water pressure, toiletries, and feminine hygiene items for the lady identified guests. Of all the homes I have stayed in over the years theirs is the first home to go above and beyond in that area. The mediation space at the top of the house was absolutely adorable and the twinkly lights on the patio lit the home beautifully in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised with a goody bag of curated treats and gifts provided for me and my family, including a bag of doggy treats for my small pooch I brought with me, which was unexpected and very thoughtful. We ran into an issue with the Nest AC that stopped working on a Sunday morning, I reached out to our point of contact, Jorge, and within the hour AJ and her partner were at the door with their warm and bubbly personalities to check in on us and immediately began troubleshooting steps to get the AC working. They promptly had a kind maintenance worker, Marco, come out and work on the AC unit and he had it back up and running by the end of the day. I definitely recommend this property for future renters, you won’t be disappointed! Unless you count having to leave at the end of your stay, that’s the only disappointment we experienced! The TreeHouse and views are amazing. We were in town for a wedding and the location was very convenient to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The house is so peaceful, comfy, beautiful and super clean. AJ and Jorge were very sweet, responsive and helpful. Loved all of the interior and outdoor areas to hang out and chillax! The gourmet kitchen was stocked with everything we needed which made cooking in really easy and fun. All around great experience. We will be back!

We enjoyed the quietude and tree canopy views; loved working in the kitchen (well-outfitted!) and lounging around in the living room; the interior design brought the house together and made it easy to appreciate natural light. It was easy to get to parks, the beach, the Getty Center and Broad Museums - great location for seeing local sights.

Stunning secluded space with all the amenities! AJ was available when necessary and very friendly. The house is immaculate with every kind of amenity you could possibly want! The decks are amazing and we can’t wait to come back!

This magical place is truly above-and-beyond! I cannot stress enough that AJ is an absolute SUPERSTAR of a host! The entire property is so meticulously designed and well thought out, from the outdoor blankets by the patio doors to the fresh water in a glass carafe that was waiting for us bedside when we checked in. There was also a beautiful welcome bag filled with goodies (including a nice bottle of champagne!) when we arrived - such an amazing extra touch! It can be easy to feel out of sorts when traveling or staying in a new place, but the Treehouse truly felt like home. The place is so warm, storied, and comfortable. You will leave this home feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to book your next stay :)

I went home to the Los Angeles area for my birthday and wanted a retreat. The property was beautifully decorated and the accommodations were excellent. The views were great and the neighborhood was quite and secluded. AJ was a great host and made my birthday feel special. I will definitely be back whenever I return back home.

The house is beautiful and perfect in every way. Away from the noise and smog of LA and yet just a short drive away. Our lovely host couldn't have been more accommodating. It felt like staying at a friend's place who wants to give you the best of everything. All furniture and appliances are top quality and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here. One of our group needed to work remotely during the stay and said it was the perfect place with the fast Internet, comfortable desk and great views.
