Great place to stay for a beach trip. Check in and check out was smooth. We had to communicate with property manager for a question and he was able to get back to us very quickly. We brought our 6 week old baby and our dog. The property had a pack n play for our baby and even bowls and a kernel for our dog. The outdoor area was also a hit for our family. Would recommend to anyone

Perfect location for the beach, St. Augustine, and golfing in the area.

We went for a short family vacay to celebrate birthday & anniversary. The house was beautiful, spacious & had everything we needed. We did however think we were “on the beach” as the ad said. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I wish we would have knows this earlier as we planned to be on the beach. But we did love the house. The hot tub, grill and whole backyard area was a hit.

My family and I had a great visit! Everything was clean and fully stocked with the necessities for a great trip. The space was open and the outdoor area with hot tub/fire place/tv was perfect. It was a little further from the access to the beach then we expected, but other than that, the location was close to downtown at Augustine and our family in ponte vedra.

The unit was perfect in every way. The enclosed yard is lovely and I totally enjoyed my evenings sitting by the fire. The unit is exactly how the pictures show it to be. Dealing with the rental company was an added pleasure. They could not have been nicer or more helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at House of Shells. The kitchen was well equipped and the furniture super comfortable. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had. The location was great- near the beach and restaurants. The back porch was perfect for gatherings and coffee in the morning. My only suggestion would be to be more specific on “pet friendly” and state what your restrictions are - by weight or type or number. Thank you!

It was cool during our stay but the hot tub made it worth it.

My girls and I loved this home - had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, large kitchen table perfect for puzzles. Manager was super responsive and helpful.

Great house for our family if 5. Clean, well stocked kitchen, with a short walk to the beach. Very responsive to questions.

Just as described,clean,well maintained and walking distance to the beach. There is a little backyard with a fire pit and hot tub. Highly recommend. Also very comfortable bed. We will be returning in 2024. Thanks for sharing Lisa & Family

Very well done and extreme comfort

I highly recommend the House of Shells. It was clean and perfect for 2 couples or a family to enjoy a weekend away. We were able to walk to the beach, only a half mile away, and we could easily Uber to downtown when we wanted to. They're are plenty of amazing local restaurants in the area and I loved that this location was close enough to downtown but fast enough away to be relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and porch area and everything on the property was beautifully decorated.

This is a beautiful home! My husband and I walked in to a clean, beachy, fully-furnished home that had everything we were looking for. My husband’s favorite part was the hot tub on the beautiful enclosed back patio, complete with a grill, fire pit, garden, and outdoor roku TV (a man’s dream come true). We loved sitting in the hot tub while catching a game on TV. I loved the kitchen—roomy and the appliances were beautiful. This house was SO CLEAN and the furniture was super comfy. I was also thankful for the little things like shower essentials, salt and pepper, complimentary bottled water, and beach essentials (umbrella, patio chairs, sand toys, and even fishing rods). We also got some complimentary passes for some of the attractions in St. Augustine and a couple coupons for some local desserts. It was hard for us to go do the fun things in St. Augustine because we were so comfortable in the home. 10/10 recommend!!

Having a great time. Very clean. Only issue the double hook shower curtain rings had curtain on one side so they slid on an angle and two broke. We fixed the curtain and they work correctly now. Can replace the rings if you would like just let us know.

We had a fabulous & memorable vacation with the family. Lots to do & house met our needs.

Beautiful accommodations!! This condo was clean enough to pass a white glove inspection! We had everything we needed for our stay and the location was ideal to visit the beach or historic St. Augustine. Highly recommend!!

Nice neighborhood that’s close to everything you could want.

We enjoyed this house and proximity to the beach. The back patio area was really nice along with the hot tub. They have a lot of board games, tv's and plenty of room to stretch. A great stay.

Very nice place

The communication with the property owner was super. Owners responded to us immediately and made the reservation process easy and communicated via text once were were on site. We really liked the location. The ocean was a short walk away (ten minutes or so), and the townhouse was in a nice little neighborhood that enabled us to cut through to two other neighborhoods. I was able to get in a nice long walk every day without having to go onto A1A. There are a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance from the townhouse. The neighbors in the 6-unit building were friendly. The townhouse is fairly updated. The furniture does show wear. My only hesitation in writing this review is to not be overly critical. I feel the townhouse needed a better cleaning. I feel that it was just surface cleaned. The cooktop for example was dusty and dirty. A large vent was dusted only part way. The main tub's drain was incredibly slow with standing water. (The owners were great and were prepared to fix it but we asked that it be fixed after we checked out as we were able to use the upstairs tub). Lastly, the outdoor space was not swept and neatened up (which is a shame because it is a nice feature of the home). This is a nice property with great, receptive owners. I would just have preferred it be a little cleaner.

Nice clean property and easy access to multiple beaches.

We enjoyed our stay at House of Shells. Overall it was a lovely time in a great location, and iTrips was easy to work with. Just some things to note (which is why I didn't give it 5 stars): - The screen to the patio is broken so you can't keep the patio door open or bugs will come in. We were hoping for some fresh air on some cooler November nights. - There is no cable TV (Roku/Smart only) - The coffee pot was dirty. - The propane tank for the fire pit was empty (although once we reported this, it was replaced). - The house was ready early, which was great since we got in on an early flight. However, we were told we'd be notified if this were the case and were not. We found out by driving there and contacting property management when it appeared to be vacant. Also, bring your own soap and tissues!

Everything was just as advertised. Communication was excellent and we had a seamless visit. Thank you!

We grew up in the area and wanted to spend time with family over Christmas. The accommodations were perfect for us. The weather was not cooperative as the country was experiencing record cold but the townhouse was very comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located to some excellent restaurants and the beach. Our family always enjoys walking around during St Augustine’s night of lights. Clean and comfortable!

Perfect property for a small group weekend getaway. It was just as pictured and was only 10 min walk to the beach. Easy checkin/checkout with a guestbook for house information. Very safe family friendly neighborhood. The hot tub and fire pit made it pleasant to sit out on the deck at night. Kitchen was supplied with the necessaries and beds were comfortable. Would love to go back again next year with my family.
