We had two families and two dogs staying for a family wedding. The property was lovely, very big with lots of indoor and outdoor space. The bedrooms are in one end of the house with a door able to be shut to block noise. The kids loved the spa and we even saw a wallaby in the front garden. Very quiet street and huge back garden. Great for dogs to run around but just note that previous canine guests have dug holes under the fence, so it’s an escape artist paradise! We’ll definitely be back.

The property is a nice and large size home that fitted our large family for a 4 night stay. Great location, only a short walk into town. However the property was not clean nor maintained very well. It did not include many amenities nor that special touch that you would expect at this price point. Hardly any pantry staples - had to do a mad dash to the service station for firewood, cooking oil and foil. Spa was fit for frogs, but not clean enough to use and cold. Trampoline was unusable with a gapping hole, soccer balls provided were deflated and moldy. No wifi/ internet was available so we couldn't watch movies/netflix. We had problems with the fire place smoking the house out but was taken care of by a chimney sweep.

- Lovely property in a beautiful setting and great location. - The linen was clean and kitchen was well set up - House was not well appointed or had a homey feel, online photos were misleading - House poorly maintained - Fly screens were torn and dirty and broken in living area - Light switch in bathroom was faulty - Cobwebs visible in Master suite and living/dining area - Dirty glassware with lipstick marks in the cupboard - Wet and unclean plates in the cupboard - Hair from previous occupants found on the floor of Ensuite bathroom - Skirtings and window sills dirty - TV cabinet surface was dusty - Bed base in bedroom facing backyard, was heavily soiled and torn - Table surfaces were dirty - No coat hangers supplied in Master suite - No kindling supplied for fire place - Lighting inadequate in living area and master bedroom - Leaking shower in bathroom and Ensuite, dangerous and a slip hazard - Given unclean presentation, we weren't game to get into the hot tub - Lounge was uncomfortable and stained and inadequate for larger groups of people. We sat at the dining table all weekend. - WIFI was unusable, connection was so poor - No internet, couldn't log into any internet connection for any purpose - Trampoline in a terrible state and unusable - Cigarette butt had been extinguished on the outside table and just left there - Not worth the money charged - more than $900 pn - 4pm check in is really not good enough - Advertising of this property was misleading and we were very disappointed, which is a shame as it is a lovely setting. It is of great concern the property is so unclean while still dealing with Covid. Most properties have extra cleaning in place for Covid, but his property doesn’t even have the basics in place. I therefore, would not recommend this property to anyone. I was not happy with the communication with Kangaroo Valley Getaways and I will ensure that I do not book another property managed by them. I feel ripped off and upset that I was mislead.

The house was in a lovely quiet location looked lovely but not as cleaned as I would have hope no real extras to make it feel homely and only 2 half rolls of toilet paper when we arrived so with 8 guests had to rush out and buy a few basics at 7:30am at the servo Could do more to make it more welcoming for the price

Clean and comfortable. Great rural location. Plenty of room for sitting, chatting, playing, walking, bird-watching, and short stroll to the river and town. A treasure.
