This is one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed at in Lakemont Pines. Beautifully furnished with everything up-to-date. Cupboards and drawers filled with every utensil you could possibly need or want. Beautiful, well furnished deck and the hot tub was a real plus. Air conditioning was also a bonus. The only negatives were very minor: definitely not much curb appeal and a little bit too close to the neighbors.

We have stayed in many different cabins in the Lakemont Pines community, but the Knotty Pine cabin was by far the best. Clean, comfortable, beautiful deck, great kitchen, great bedrooms ... but by far the best thing: the AC! We'll be back!

Our stay was too short! We loved our time at the lake, our time on the back deck for breakfast & dinners and the layout of the cabin was very nice. The kitchen was large and had all the necessities for cooking at home which we enjoy doing with our family gatherings. I would highly recommend this place for small groups.

We stayed at our rental for the weekend with my son, his wife and their two kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the convenience and efficiency of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the tools we needed for cooking meals and the house was designed well for use with a family in mind. It was located centrally so we could go to Big Trees state park and still have enough time to go to the lake and chill there with our family. Can’t wait to go back!!

Our recent stay exceeded our expectations. The cabin was exactly as described, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat for our weekend getaway. One of the highlights was being able to bring our beloved little dog, Coby, along for the trip.
Our teenagers had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and the hot tub for relaxing evenings. The cabin's amenities, including the well-appointed kitchen, made meal preparation a breeze. Plus, the convenience of a nearby supermarket made stocking up on essentials easy.
The location was perfect for our outdoor adventures, with Big Trees just a short drive away and the lake offering opportunities for fishing and sunbathing on the beach. After a delicious dinner in quintessential downtown Murphys, we enjoyed unwinding with a scary movie in the cozy living room before retiring to the super comfy beds for a restful night's sleep.

We enjoyed this house so much! The perfect design for a family stay. Great living space, spacious kitchen, nice beds. Just a short walk to the lake, short drive to the club house/beach. Easy in and out driveway. We enjoyed the back deck every morning and evening.

We had a lovely time at the Knotty Pine. It has everything we needed... nice mattresses, clean kitchenware. The entrance is very accessible which is a big plus for me also... just drive up and walk in/no stairs! It's very close to the beautiful Lakemont Pines lake which we enjoyed every day of our stay.

If you know the area this is a nice place, especially nice if you have dogs I guess. The listing doesn’t mention that it has AC but fortunately it does - it was our first time in Arnold and we were surprised how hot it was considering it’s at 5K elevation.
The lake is close - less than a mile drive/walk but the house is not on the lake as shown on the listing map.
Nice house, great kitchen and patio space. Nice mattress in master and pretty comfy living room couch as well. Only issue was that there really is no yard space for kids. The front and backyards are pretty uninviting and the backyard had foot high weeds throughout. Linens in master bedroom do need to be replaced.

We had a fabulous time at the Knotty Pine! The location was great for wine tasting, golf and hiking. We also had some delicious meals at local restaurants. The house is beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen, nice sitting areas in the great room and deck and a washer/dryer. Our pal from Scotland really enjoyed the trip too! We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful time in Arnold. The house is amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The back patio is right next to the neighbours back patio so there is not a lot of privacy. Other than being able to see the neighbours on their patio the location was great. Close to hiking and the HOA lake which was a lot of fun for the kids.

Really nice home and well located. The private lake swimming hole was a hit with the kids. We caught frogs, tadpoles, and even some blue gills (bass).
The hot tub is a bit of a tease though. Wish we could have used that.

The cabin is super cute, very well stocked and maintained. Matching the pictures and description. It’s very close to a lake with a beach if you stay in summer and supermarket to stock up on anything you need for your stay. Communication was flawless and hosts extremely accommodating. We are definitely keeping this place in our favorites and hopefully stay again.

The cabin is very nice, well-stocked, and clean. They even had an added touch of music playing when we arrived. The management team was excellent at responding if we needed anything, and the location is great. Just 2 minutes from a grocery store and some restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was super cute! Almost everything is new. They included a welcome basket, an awesome binder with all the info for a perfect weekend. The deck was a perfect place for our happy hour with the comfy couch and chairs. Access to the lake with all of the amenities, tables, shades and flootie rentals, even a snack shack! Lovely surprise and we spend a whole day there. A couple of things would make this a five for me. The refrigerator was really full, making it hard to store the groceries we brought and zero cabinet space. Alot of counter space was available. Check-out time at 10 AM, for me, the check-out is too early. I would have liked to sit and enjoy the last day of my trip for an hour or so before packing up. Overall, this was the nicest cabin I've stayed at, so many fun decorations.
