The property met every need. We were in town for a nearby wedding. From touch up ironing, to better than expected hygiene products, just right dishes and dog dishes...

This is an adorable cabin. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated in a rustic setting. We enjoyed our stay. Be prepared to park your vehicle up a small hill / some stairs. It wasn't an issue for us but might be for someone not able to navigate with a heavy suitcase very easily. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the lake setting.

Perfect location for our visit to the Ark. Property was clean, comfortable and just as pictured. Not a single thing left out....even left snacks. We will be back when going to the Creation Museum. Huge bonus that it is pet friendly....thank you for that.

My fiancé and I had a great time. This was our first vacation together and we didn’t know what to expect with renting our first time. Our overall experience was fantastic and we had everything we could possibly have needed, although we didn’t use a lot of it. It was a very comfortable, warm, and inviting cottage and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Well appointed and the owners do a great job of making the most out of a smaller sized cottage. Property is tucked away and private, but still fairly close to the Ark, other attractions and stores. The neighborhood is great for walking your pup and enjoying some lake views. The fireflies in the yard in the evenings were an added bonus!

Property was exactly as described. Nice and peaceful, Ark and Creation Museum were awesome. Snacks and supplies provided were very nice. Edwardo's Pizza in Williamstown makes excellent pizza. Everything about the cottage was high quality.

The cabin was so cozy, and adorable. The kitchen was stocked very well, as was the bathroom. The bed and pillows where so comfortable I slept great. We had plenty of room for 2 people and 2 big dogs (German Shepherds). Would absolutely stay again.

Thank you for taking pets! This was the perfect stay if you are going to the ark encounter. The owner has thought of everything. In fact, i cut my finger unpacking the car and of course...a first aid kit in a drawer. Thank you formall the extras. We could not be happier with our time there. The neighborhood was friendly and we went on many walks with our dog.

Then the had everything you would need for coffee much appreciated this . Then snacks .also which I thoughht was so nice they had a dog bed and dishes for the dogs was so sweet nice touch . Just a big shout out to our host. Everything was amazing.

The property was cute, clean, and worked for what we needed. It was rather drafty in the house. The lighting outside could have been better especially with the stairs and all the leaves covering walk way. The beds were comfy! Didn't love that we parked in a tiny spot on the side of the 1 lane road, but it worked, just glad we didn't have tons to carry inside.

My daughters and I just wanted to take a quick getaway. We chose this cottage because of its close proximity to the Ark Encounter but I was also looking for a nice view from the neighborhood and this place delivered. It’s also pet friendly, very clean, well equipped, cozy and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Sunny Hill was just as pictured & described. Ric & Mike thought of everything. The cabin was clean, well appointed, well stocked. We literally just needed our suitcase. The kitchen & bath were supplied with more than the essentials. Parking was tight but doable ( passenger needed to get out before parking). Steps hard to see at dusk. Would be nice to have highlighted tape to mark each step. Overall, one of our best vacation rental experiences. Thanks, Ric & Mike.

This cottage was a very nice cozy cottage. Everything was in a prestigious condition. The area of where this cottage was very quiet and the location was very close to the Ark Encounter and stores. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was quaint and cute. Good utilization of the space to provide all the amenities. Easy check in. Comfy beds. However, there is no access to the lake unless you rent or own a boat. All shorelines besides the marina are privately owned. And you cannot swim at the marina. So if you book this for the amenity of the lake you will be disappointed. Williamstown Lake is classified as a public lake, but it seems it only caters to the private owners unfortunately.

We stayed here while attending a conference at the Ark. It was such a nice place to come back to each night. It was beautifully decorated. Very comfy. We had everything we needed. Loved hearing the birds in the mornings. We loved it!

Sunny Hill Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, inviting and by far the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. Ric was quick to respond with questions and even let us know the landscapers might show up. Everything one might need for an overnight(s) stay is provided i.e. shampoo, bodywash, laundry detergent pods, coffee maker, full kitchen, and all cooking instruments. The two queen sized beds were very comfortable. The cottage is close to several restaurants, Starbucks, and Walmart. This was the first family vacation we have been able to take in 13 years and Sunny Hill Cottage made all the difference. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures do not do this property justice. Super clean, and although it is pet friendly, no urine smell that you often get in pet friendly rentals.
We brought along paper towels and extra toilet paper and was shocked to find they had extra rolls of both.
Plenty of dishwashing soap, hand soap, body wash, and shampoo. I believe there was conditioner there too.
Parking is a little interesting. I have a larger SUV and in order to get off the road , I had to park close to “the edge”, where there was a steep slope. I would definitely stay here again!!

This property was outstanding and the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. The decor was amazing and every detail was given much attention to make one’s stay stress free and enjoyable. Everything you need from towels, shampoo, laundry detergent pods to coffee maker, cooking pots and pans is provided. The two queen size beds were so comfortable we didn’t miss our own. The owners are very prompt with responding to questions and were kind enough to let us know the landscapers might show up. We cannot say enough good things about this property and were sad when we had to leave. I’m sure we’ll be back.

The place had everything we needed for our stay and it was easy to get in touch with the property owner. The drive to the place was lovely - it gave us a true feel of the Kentucky countryside.
