We would love to give a better review, but frankly, we were very disappointed. The sole purpose of our getaway was to enjoy the swimming pool. The day we arrived the pool looked very murky and there was debris on the bottom of the pool. We’ve been told that the pool is maintained on Mondays but it didn’t look like it. So we waited till the next day and then a pool man showed up and said that he had to shock the pool and that we’d be unable to use it for 6 to 12 hours. Second day lost for swimming. the final day the water was still cloudy from the treatment so we didn’t venture in. After my stroke and several back surgeries, the only time I feel relief is when I’m in the water. So it was doubly disappointing. The view was nice. the home is fine, except it really could use some TLC. we generally give glowing reviews of the properties where we stay, but I just can’t this time. I wish I could.

Four of us girlfriends traveled from WI and SC to have a long weekend together. The accommodations were good, great location, quiet neighborhood. While some things outside could use some attention they did not impact our stay. We all had a wonderful weekend, the check in and check out process was very easy.

While the property was spacious, it lacks any interior updates. Old linens, strange layout of bedrooms, full garbage cans outside, and a pool that was relatively dirty was not up to the expectations of what was pictured. No soap, skimpy shampoo travel bottles (no conditioner), one roll of paper towels, and no napkins?? For what we paid, it would have been nice to not be so cheap when it comes to basic necessities. Having to go to the grocery store just for basic toiletries was not our typical VRBO experience. They did accommodate a mistake in our dates of stay, but it cost an arm and leg for a less than desirable property. Could use some serious updates. Pictures are not an accurate depiction. Beware.

The outside of the property looks NOTHING like the photos. Dead landscaping, trash in the yard, uneven and unsafe stairs and the outside of the house and pool is in state of general disrepair. THE POOL WAS COMPLETELY CLOUDED, DIRTY AND UNUSABLE. Mgmt said ‘oh, it’s just pollen’. No way, this pool hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. When the pool service showed up on day 2, the chlorine was through the roof and the PH was out of whack which is actually a health hazard for anyone to use in that state. He also asked us (as guests) to keep an eye on the pool pump and climb down and turn it on if we saw it turn off. What??? The pool service and mgmt co said the pool was unusable. I asked for a partial refund since this property was advertised as a house with a pool. I was flat out denied and shut down. She said I could leave and she would refund me for the days I left. Are you serious? After paying the VRBO booking fees and maid service? Find a hotel at the last minute or pack our things and food and drive 3.5 hours back home??? I always check the reviews before I book so I hope someone reads this and books somewhere with a more caring and reliable mgmt co.

Spare bathroom toilet the float stick to flush toilet Also we apologize one of the small wine glasses was used and was on top of glass table. Girl friend got cold took her blanket and set down in one of the chairs her blanket touched the glass and it tipped over it was empty and fell on top ofvthe glass table and cracked. We left money to replace the glass. We apologize everything was great

All my family was in love with the property and specially the view!!! The weather was perfect during our stay which allow us to enjoy the back patio and pool to the fullest! Walking trails extremely close. A great outdoor experience. Kitchen was well equipped, and sleeping space was perfect. We will definitely rent again in the future!

Thank You for this lovely memory that I will hold in my heart, spirit, and soul forever. It was the first family trip since our sons lost their dad to COVID. You have no idea what this moment in time meant to us. To hear them laugh together. Rest together. Swim together. Cook together. Eat a family dinner together. Watch a game together. Watch a movie together. It was just a moment in time I wish I could package forever. Protect it and lock the memory with a magical key. Their dad was with us in spirit. We felt him. Gosh! Moments we all seem to take for granted until the moments are gone forever. I will never take these moments for granted again with my family. Thank You for opening your lovely home to us. We made unforgettable family memories at this beautiful property. We felt so relaxed and everything was so well put together. The pool. The lake. The views of the sky. The easy flow of the home. Our guests who joined us all agree it was all perfect. Thank You for allowing us to rent it. We will never forget this moment. Our first small trip away as a family since our sons lost their dad to COVID.

I absolutely loved the location of the property! The response from the owners/managers to request that needed to be addressed was handled promptly! If I had to say anything was negative, it’s time for an update to the amenities!! But overall I loved it and would stay again

Nice home, beautiful pool with a view

This property was very nice, as advertised. We experienced a slight issue that the hosts helped with very quickly. Love the pool and the view. Perfect for a nice group getaway.

We really enjoyed our trip. The house was nice and we had everything we needed. Very private and quiet. The pool was incredible with an amazing view. We saw deer and a fox with her babies. The dining room table was perfect for playing games. We will definitely book here again.

We had a lovely time in Lago Vista! It was a perfect staycation with lots of time spent relaxing around the pool. The rental was as described. In the future I hope the hosts consider creating some shade over the pool so that folks can still enjoy the pool in the hottest part of the day/summer. We had a most amazing view of the Lago Vista fireworks and highly recommend this space for a 4th of July gathering!

We stayed at the Lago Vista Pool with a View. The property is as advertised! We had a wonderful time on the lake and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The home is gorgeous and the view is priceless. We spent one morning on the lake and the rest of our time relaxing at this fabulous property. The pool was really nice to have. The accomodations were clean and current and we relaxed in style. I will let those know who are thinking about renting this home that if you cook your own food, you need to bring any specialty items/seasoning with you. No big deal but the kitchen is stocked modestly with dishes and kitchen items. Again - no big deal but I want to make sure there are no surprises. Also - the grill is a charcoal grill. There was a modest amount of charcoal provided but not enough for our stay (3 meals on the grill). We enjoyed grilling with the charcoal but I just want to give a heads up to bring your own charcoal if you plan on using the grill for several meals. We really enjoyed our stay!

Loved everything about the home from the décor and color pallet, to the views from outside. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked, and we had everything we needed.

My family stayed here for a quick weekend-getaway and had the best time. The home was clean, pool was awesome, and we loved the views in the evening. Heather (management company) was so nice and quick to respond when we called or texted, and we were offered a late check-out. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back.
