Across the main train station, about 10 min walk to city center. Rooms are small but ok for short stay.

Friendly staff, good location (and no I don't mean the fact that it is next to a strip club), value for money, good breakfast, overall pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend.

A lift would be nice (I was on the third floor). The shower in room 34 could have been better fixed to the wall - as it was the wall got a better wash than I did. And for some reason the Wi-Fi didn't work.

it seems the shower head cannot be hanged on the wall, but due to it’s not a big problem for me, so I didn’t ask the staff and also maybe because of my problem.

You can walk to the city center (20 minutes to the city hall). The room was clean.

There is no lift and the room was quite small. There is no air-conditioning in the room, so it was a bit hot. No view from the room.

A stones throw from Toulouse Matabiau train station (literally over the road) we were welcomed by a super friendly receptionist who, kindly, offered us a bottle of chilled water on our arrival and booked us in with no issues. Our room was on the third floor and had everything we expected from our booking. The hotel is not only close to the train station but not even a 10 minute walk into the heart of the town and the Place Du Capitole, where there is no shortage of places to eat, drink and shop. In the morning we were totally impressed with the breakfast - a mix of fruit, pastries and preserves, fruit juices and hot drinks. We would come back to this hotel for the breakfast alone!! It's a lovely hotel and we would recommend it to anyone passing through Toulouse.

I like Hotel La Chartreuse, because it is very near the station (very convenient when you arrive late), the staff is very kind and professionnal. In the room you have everything you need. Best value/price ratio.
