We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family and the location on the lake was great. The kids swam and kayaked the whole time. In the evening they loved the games and the pool table. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time.

I would like to thank Jennifer for an outstanding experience at her house, the house was beyond our expectations very clean very very spacious, the docks were very accessible for our 30' pontoon and jet skiis, the yard is huge I can not honestly think of a single negative thing to say about Jennifer's rental I would highly recommend her place to anyone she is also very responsive to communications

This home was very well appointed and has tons of room for a larger group or family. We were a little apprehensive at the 3 page pdf we received of all the the things we needed to bring and do or not do. Upon arrival though we found many of those things weren’t necessary other than linen and towels. We had a marvelous time. The property is very well maintained. The kids loved the Kayaks and the paddle board. We were a little bummed that the docs weren’t able to be used but there was tons of other things. Wildlife abounds here also for nature lovers. The yard is massive and you can play all kinds of outdoor games as well!! I don’t think you’ll go wrong booking this house on a quiet SML cove!

We are annual visitors to the lake and have never had such weather. It rained 4 days straight. We usually come in July or August. This is a gorgeous property with numerous areas to gather in. The owners have tried to anticipate every need. There were games, puzzles, pool table, and boy did we need them given the rain. We came to the lake with another family who stayed just around the cove and shared evening meals at each others home alternating nights. There was plenty of room to share the meals. I didn’t appreciate the need to haul all of our own linens or rent them. We were only able to use one side of a double sink and weren’t informed of that before we arrived. Over all given unforeseen things we had a good time despite the weather and planning to be outside on or in the water every day.

A lovely property right on the water. The house was very comfortable for our "girls" group of 3 generations and decorated beautifully. The sun room was a joy. The owner was quickly responsive to our questions.

Owners have thought of everything and most questions answered before you can even think to ask. Property is comfortable and perfect for any family (we had a few older kids as well as a 1 year old and the house worked great for all ages). Would definitely go back!

The house is sitting on a beautiful large slightly slopping lawn fronting the lake. The location on the lake is just perfect for kids SAFE fun in the water, it is deep enough to jump, quiet enough to not worry about boats. The house has all you may need for outdoor and indoor fun. Kayaks, canoe, life jackets, volleyball net, balls, light plastic table, light adirondacks easy to carry down to the firepit, fully stocked basement with billiard table, fuss ball and plenty of various table games. Just great set up to keep the kids off the electronics. The house itself is VERY nicely and tastefully decorated, kitchen stocked well, very clean and very fresh. The house works in any weather, there are various sitting arrangements out near fire pit, or covered if raining, or even glass shielded sunroom if windy. We were able to enjoy the weather and had all of our meals outdoors even when rain was pouring. Great home for outdoor loving people!

This is a lovely home with an amazing amount of room. Everything was in great condition. This home works wonderfully for a multigenerational group. The weather was great and the water was warm.

We had a great week at this house! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to spread out. The kids loved playing in the basement. We enjoyed the large yard and had fun roasting hot dogs and s'mores at the fire pit. Although the dock is small, we were able to dock a pontoon boat there with no problems. It was a relaxing location and we will definitely keep it in mind in the future.

Our family and friends rented this gorgeous home over Memorial Day weekend and we're already wanting to make plans to go back. The home itself is so well decorated and appointed- even better than the photos! We had Plenty of room to spread out and relax both inside and out. The kids loved having the lower level all to themselves and had so much fun playing pool and with all the board games the house has stocked. We all really enjoyed the huge lawn outside- perfect for running around, playing lawn games in the sun and shade! But the best part of all was the lake view and lake access- every day from morning til night we all enjoyed lake swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing off the floating docks. No fast boats zooming by, such a quiet peaceful little cove to enjoy! The host was extremely helpful with a few questions we had and got back to us so quickly whenever we reached out. We fell in love with SML this past weekend and would book this home again in a heartbeat!

We all had a wonderful time at the property! There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Downstairs was great for all of our college aged kids. It was a perfect space for them to hangout all night without disturbing their parents and grandparents up stairs. We all spent plenty of time on the patios as well as the fire pit. We really enjoyed the floating docks and even got out on the lake in the canoe provided to watch the sunset.

Wonderful, quiet property on the lake with easy access to water for all ages. Every amenity you could need was available. Communication with host always immediate! Will definitely be booking again in the future! Thanks for an awesome week celebrating our sons graduation from VT!

We loved everything about our stay except for the rain. The house was larger than we expected and perfect. Plenty of room for the various ages we had with us on our trip. The steps to the lower level were not steep which made it nice for my parents to join us for games after the kids went to bed. The sunroom was perfect for the rainy days. Would love to come back to Smith Mountain Lake again and will definitely check for availability on this property.

We enjoyed family time at this beautiful lakehouse, which has a fantastic location right on the lake. The bedrooms are beautiful and beds were comfortable - but you do have to bring your own linens, towels, washcloths, hand towels, or pay for linen service. The home has a large walkout basement with two bunkbed rooms (we thought there was only one) and lots of hang-time space with pool, fuseball, and games.

The house is situated on a quiet street. Inside, the house is very clean and well equipped. The views from most of the rooms are of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. When we had a question, the owner answered in a timely manner and really nice to work with. The house has plenty of gathering space and plenty of space to get away from others if needed. We had a wonderful Christmas. Our family would love to stay here again.

Looking for a great fall gate away and this house didn’t disappoint. The house was well set up for our two families. Two basement bunk rooms were ideal for our preteens. We had epic pool games, fires, card games and even monopoly. We enjoyed a quick hike at the state park a short ride away. I can’t wait to get back to SML during the summer when we can get out on the lake!

It was really a beautiful home and perfect for vacation.

Beautiful location

The set up of the house was absolutely perfect for our group with 3 couples upstairs and 3 kids downstairs (could easily accommodate more kids comfortably). We rented a pontoon boat from across the road which was a quick and easy walk, and the floating dock was great for tying it up overnight and when not in use. The tap water was a little bit of an issue for us in that it had a metallic taste and smell to it; we were thankful we had brought drinking water with us to last the week. Jennifer was extremely responsive to our needs all week and indicated that the water issue may be resolved in the future. Would Stay Again, Wonderful Spot!

Jennifer's response time was great. She provided answers with positive feedback and with an open door policy for any others that may follow. The house was clean and stocked with most amenities one could ask for.

Wonderful property with perfect location on the lake - short boat ride to the dam and other areas of interest.

Came down with my family. 5 adults and four children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all the dishes, pots, pans, utensils,etc. that you could need. We had two trucks with jet ski trailers and two SUVs, there was more than enough room to park and use the ramp to launch the jet skis. The ramp worked great even for my double jet ski trailer. The yard was so nice with its gentle slope down to the lake. I would absolutely stay here again.
