We enjoyed the property very much. Well maintained with plenty of room for adult party of nine.

Great Home with everything you need and more! Lisa was wonderful and her home was amazing with anything you need for a great week. Dock was clean and easily accessible, pool was great, beds were amazing, would stay here again no questions asked! Within driving distance of pretty much anything, and far enough that you can get away from the crowd!

My family and I enjoyed a weeklong stay in the house. The house had plenty of space and bedrooms for our entire crew. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The smaller kids really loved the pool and took full advantage of it the entire week. We even tried fishing off the dock. It was close enough to downtown Savannah and we made several trips downtown. Everyone had a great time.

Moon River House is a beautiful property inside and out. We had a wonderful time hanging out by the pool and sitting out on the dock (we even saw river dolphins!). The home itself is clean and beautifully decorated. Great communication with the owner. A quiet neighborhood close to downtown Savannah. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Moon River! The views with our coffee in the morning were spectacular. We were a group of 8 ladies and had ample space! We enjoyed our dinner overlooking the water an spotting some wildlife. We would love to come back!

The house is gorgeous and the setting is perfect! It was a great get away that was just close enough to the city for convenience. Would love to return some day!

Well-equipped home about 20 minutes out of Savannah, and a little further to Tybee Island. We had our immediate family with us, including 2 little ones. and spent most of our time on the property. There were some good golf courses nearby, and parts of our group golfed several days. We did manage to catch a crab or two off the pier. The sunrise views over the pier were beautiful. The pool was nice, if a little chilly. It warmed up enough for us to enjoy it the last few days we were there. The host was very responsive and accommodating . The pool guy was friendly and gave us some good recommendations. Parking was private, off the main road. The primary bedroom was very nice, with a great view.

This was a great place to stay with our friends. Plenty of room, very clean and close to downtown! Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house and the southern charm. It was such a treat to wake up and sit on the back porch while drinking coffee with such a beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay here! It’s a spacious home on a beautiful piece of property. The home was very clean, cozy and also kid-friendly. Our kids had fun jumping in the pool and enjoyed watching the different fish and marine life swim by the dock. The host (Lisa) was very responsive and welcoming! We hope to be back to this part of the world one day and would certainly stay here again. To anyone debating booking here, I’d highly recommend it!

We are a group of four couples who found the house spacious and accommodating for all our needs. The rooms were large and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy the beauty of southeastern Georgia. We had wonderful communication with the property owner, Lisa. She was very responsive, gracious, and welcomed us with a goodie bag. The pool looks wonderful, but it was too cool for any of us to try it. If you are interested in spending a lot of time experiencing Savannah, this is a little ways away. For us, however, we appreciated the distance from the crowds and bustle, while still having the city nearby. We spent a full day in Savannah, and another on Tybee Island. We recommend Wormsloe Historic Site, just a few miles away. There are a number of great restaurants nearby. The one issue was that there were a lot of sand gnats swarming while we were there. This is beyond the control of anyone, but repellents with deet don't work. We have heard, but did not try, that eucalyptus oil or lavender oil work well as repellents. A great place. We highly recommend.

Wonderful home, wonderful view, wonderful host!

The Moon River House was a perfect spot for our family of six. Beautiful home with plenty of space and a gorgeous view of river. Close to grocery and easy trip into Savannah city. Host was lovely and answered all of our questions quickly. Thank you, Lisa. We can’t wait to come back!

The home was clean and comfortable and well stocked. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the views of the river were peaceful. Our family of 9 adults, ages 33-77, stayed quite comfortably in this beautiful Moon River House. We all had a great time, enjoying both the outside and lovely inside spaces. If the weather had been warmer, we would have used the pool and done some river activities. We had a great day in Savannah, shopping and enjoying an early dinner at Vic’s on the River. We would definitely return to this lovely place on the river.

This property fit the bill for our weekend. Amazing views, open floor plan and gas fireplace (the weather didn't quite cooperate). Lisa is an amazing and responsive host. We couldn't have asked for a better place! We will be back!!

This property was the perfect home base for our family vacation. The mornings on the water were beautiful and the layout of the home was exactly what we needed for three couples and a toddler. It was well stocked and there were lots of great amenities. Unfortunately the pool heater wasn't working so it was too cold to use the pool but I can imagine on a hot summer day how lovely it would be! We still snuck in a few 60 degree swims :) Highly recommend!

Fantastic Beautiful property Very relaxing

We stayed in this beautiful home as a small group of women looking for relaxation and it provided exactly that. Location was perfect and it was so quiet and serene on the canal. We enjoyed the pool and the great dock for sunsets. The home is about 20 minutes from downtown and we viewed it as the perfect distance from being away from the bustle when we wanted to be and easy to get to when we did. Lisa was wonderful to communicate with! No issues at all.

I can’t say enough good things about Lisa and the Moon River House! It was the perfect house for my best friends bachelorette weekend. The house is gorgeous, the beds are super comfortable, Lisa has the house stocked with anything you could need for a great weekend! It felt like a hotel, down to the mints on our beds! Will definitely be renting again!

We had an amazing long weekend at the Moon River House. Two out-of-state brothers (and a cousin from Nebraska!) came to visit with Savannah based brother and their mother. We had a great time enjoying big family meals, telling stories, and catching up around the table. We lounged on the covered porch, watched the river from the dock, swam, and fished for hours. Being there was the perfect blend of activity and restful chilling out. Thank you to Lisa! We hope to be back some day!

Something for everyone!

This property is amazing! Truly feels like a little resort getaway! The sleeping spaces are such high quality. The pool was perfectly clean and warm for our pool day. Couldn’t be happier with our weekend.

This home was great! There is nothing better than waking up on the river! Having your own private dock was great and jumping in the pool to beat the heat or using the dedicated ice maker for a cold drink! Close to downtown Savannah!
