We are 4 widows from 4 different States that travel to Hawaii each winter for about 5 to 6 weeks. Love the Waianae area (dry side of Oahu) and its beaches. This location was excellent, we cooked all our meals, kitchen was well equipped and the floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean with the breeze was welcoming. The grounds were well maintained and felt like a mini zoo with the peacocks, chickens and cats. We will definitely come back to this property.

We really enjoyed our stay, and it was everything and more that we expected. The unit, complex grounds, laundry facility, and pool/bbq areas are very well kept, and clean. The security was also very helpful. Dont pass this one up!

Comfy, well laid out condo that is comfortable and clean. Great location near the beach. Friendly security and peaceful neighborhood. Owners were a pleasure to work with and were easily accessible.

We stayed from April 20 to May 16 2022. Darrel and Julie were terrific hosts and in regular contact to make our stay the best possible. The property is ideal, 3rd floor and private. The ocean view is fantastic and better than the photo. Make sure you have a car. Be aware that free roaming roosters, chickens and peacocks on the property can be noisy.

Four of us stayed from January 27-February 28, 2022. The condo is super clean and updated. Very well supplied with everything you could ask for, felt like we were living at home. We travelled with a 9 month old, and Darrel & Julie were so accommodating in making sure we had a playpen and high chair. They provided great communication throughout our booking process. The beds were very comfortable with extra blankets if you needed. There was an air conditioner which we never used as we opened the living room and bedroom patio doors and the breeze would flow right through. The condo has a beautiful view of the plantation and the ocean. It is approximately a 1/2 hour walk to beach. There is also a very nice hiking trail close by that is away from traffic. The Bus stop is right outside the plantation. It is about 2 1/2 hours to Honolulu and 2 hours to airport on bus route #40. There was ample parking for our rental car just outside the condo and we had no problem with security. Must take your car registration, vehicle inspection paper and your driver’s license into the office. They will give you a paper which you must keep on your dash when on the property. There are two pool areas on the plantation. Each has a large pool, kiddie spray pool and hot tub. There were several books in the pool library as well as a nice selection of books in the condo! The laundry areas are very well equipped and very close to the condo. I think 8 washers and 8 dryers. There are many laundry buildings throughout the complex. There are grocery stores (Tamara’s and Waianae Store) in Waianae were very well equipped with reasonable prices. You may wish to stop at Costco or Walmart in Kapolei on your way but not needed as the local shopping will suffice. The 604 restaurant in Waianae was very good. There is a golf course within walking distance. $60 for green fees and cart. $30 for club rental. This is a plantation, you are sharing it with many peacocks, chickens, chicks, and roosters. Our grand-daughter loved them all. The roosters wake up early…or maybe don’t sleep so you might consider ear plugs. We plugged the floor fan in for white noise and it helped. Overall this was a great condo, friendly people and the location was beautiful. Surrounded by nature. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

There are a lot of trees around the property, views are so pretty: the sea, the mountains, green and shady landscape and lots of peacocks. We loved the beach nearby (Makaha). According to the reviews it can be crowded but there were mornings when there were just five people at the beach. We saw a few turtles, different kinds of fish and a monk seal there. The water is so much cleaner than the water at the famous Waikiki beach. Miss the place already.
