My family and I enjoyed our stay! The house with a pool in the back yard and a 5 minute walk to the beach was great. The house is just like the pictures and contact with the owner was easy.
The pull out bed in the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced immediately! It CAN NOT be used!!! You will fall through. Don’t count that in your sleep count.
The only thing I did NOT like….we had to take the garbage cans to the road for pick up and bring them back to the house.

Property was exactly what it said it would be. Owner was very responsive to any questions that occured. We had plenty of room and dis not feel like we were on top of each other. We had so much fun. All the extras in shed were a great bonus we had chairs for the beach and things to do to entertain us. We played horeshoes, had a fire, and just a great vacation. I would rebook this again for another vacation. 10 oit of 10!r

I was a little worried at first because of the proximity to the main road, but it was never an issue. Walk to the beach was short and pool was fabulous. We even walked to the Publix for necessities. There is a nature walk across the street that goes under the bridge. We enjoyed looking for crabs there. Great location. Kids really loved the loft. I would love to go back again.

This house had everything you could ever need. The whole property was just amazing. Check in was super easy which was helpful also. If you’re thinking about going, just go ahead and book it! You won’t regret it. Thank you for the wonderful family vacation!

Went with 4 adults and 2 kids - the pool was beautiful surrounded by lovely landscaping, perfect temp for swimming.
Beach was a short walk away and not a crowded section due to houses all around - hotels a few blocks away.
Short (less than 10 min) drive to gorgeous downtown area.
Host very nice and responsive - very organized and house and property very well cared for. Would definitely go here again!

Beautiful property, not right on the beach but within very short walking distance. If the kids weren't at the beach they were in the pool. Easy check in/ out process.

Great location. Easy access to the beach and st Augustine. Property manager was very easy to access and handled our only issue quickly. ( only issue was a storm that really dirtied the pool)

We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Vilano beach was beautiful, sparsely populated, and perfect for long walks. It was a bit chilly while we were visiting so the children were very happy that the pool was heated and they spent a lot of their time swimming. I didn’t realize the home was located at such a busy intersection when I booked, but the noise from traffic didn’t end up interfering with our sleep and the beds were nice and comfortable. On the plus side of the location, it was right across the street from a grocery store and not too far of a walk to get to the beach. I would recommend!

My family & I stayed for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s Birthday… we were all impressed with how beautiful this home is. Each room is tastefully decorated, each bathroom stocked with fresh, clean towels. The kitchen has a view of the ocean and it is stocked with spices, pots & pans, utensils, glasses, plates, bowls just about everything you need to make a meal! The beach access is a short walk from the house. The pool is great… heated just right! Thank you for such a lovely home to celebrate a very special occasion. We highly recommend booking this home!

This was a quick stop for us as part of a roadtrip.
Had never visited St. Augustine so it was an opportunity to check it out and we were very pleased!
House and host are outstanding.
This place has everything, and if you do manage to find yourself in need, there’s a nice Publix grocery store within walking distance. Nice beaches all around, but the heated pool oasis was the star of the show as we visited in December and gale force winds made the ocean a no-go regardless of temps. Despite the uncooperative weather it was a great time in an awesome place. Thanks to the host for sharing this property, it really made our first visit to St. Augustine a memorable one.

After 30 long years, I coordinated a college reunion for six of the women that I lived with the location of the property, the attention to detail and the swimming, pool and fire pit and outdoor living space made the entire week a luxurious getaway where everyone can reconnect and enjoy the surroundings Will definitely book again

So fortunate to have found such a wonderful rental. The house was both comfortable and convenient! Under a 2 minute walk to the beach. Short walk to Vilano town center. The location was right at the foot of Vilano Bridge which made driving to historic district and Route 1 a snap. Pool was relaxing. Beach stuff (wagon, chairs, umbrellas, pails & toys were all an added bonus. The house was well stocked with both bath & beach towels, beds were extremely comfortable, and I am very picky when it comes to sleeping. The owner was a true delight to work with! Thank you John for a perfect stay.

Stayed with my son's family and brother's family to visit our family and the beach in St. Augustine/Vilano beach. The house was perfect. Outdoor area gorgeous, we all enjoyed the pool and loved the extra protective measures of gates surrounding pool since we had little ones there. So close to the beach area, just a 2 min walk so many of us were there often. Also, being able to walk across street to the Publix was so convenient. It took only minutes to get to historic St. Augustine. Only downside with property is griddle and grill too small to cook for our larger group but close to so many wonderful restaurants like the Reef and Aunt Kate's. Would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The property was immaculate. The location to the beach with the added benefit of a private pool made for a dream vacation for my family. John was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to help us with an issue. We cannot wait to stay here again in the future!

This little home was perfect for a getaway with friends! I love how they have an actual vacuum in the house so we could sweep the sand up (other rentals I’ve been to, have not). Only thing I can think of that was a slight annoyance was the location of the house, is right at a stop light getting off the bridge from st Augustine to Vilano. It’s really noisy (lots of honking). We brought our own fan to sleep with, thank goodness, and was never woken by the traffic. Overall 5 stars for this home. It was a fantastic stay and very clean!

Overall a nice accommodation because we had good weather. Because there were eight of us, we had to eat outdoors every meal. Had we had rain this would have been a bit problematic as there was no space to set up a large table inside. The pool was awesome and it was close to the beach. The beds were super comfortable and it had a well equipped kitchen.

This rental went above and beyond our expectations. The beach is about a 2-3 minute walk. The heated pool was amazing, even on the cooler days. The kitchen is well stocked. There were 6 of us, my husband and myself, our son and daughter-in-law, and our daughter and her boyfriend. We each had a great private space while also enjoying the great shared space. The first morning when we stepped outside, the neighbor walked over and asked how many people were staying there because the last group was noisy on the deck after dark. My husband assured him we were a quiet group, however did feel the general approach of the neighbor was a bit awkward. We didn't have any further interactions.....but just wanted to share. We would love to visit again. Amazing ❤️

This house is immaculate reminds me of a house in the Florida Keys ,the pool was warm, so much ambiance close to the beach and the town,would definitely stay here again. The host was a pleasure to work with responded quickly, Thank you John

Our family of 4, which include two teenage daughters loved our stay at Vilano Beach. Close to St. Augustine and all area attractions yet the home feels like it’s own mini oasis with the private heated pool and a short walk to a quiet beach.
We had a little snag with the automatic door code not working but we heard right back from the owner who was able to get everything to work for us. John is friendly and easy to work with.
The home is located near a busy intersection and although you don’t rally notice the sounds to much during the day they can be loud at night if you are used to living in the country as we are.
The space was great and allowed everyone to have their own privacy while also being able to enjoy being together in the pool area. The pool area has a great mix of sun and shade which was nice.
We enjoyed our family time immensely and would definitely come back in the future.

We just loved Silver Surf Beach House. It is perfect for a family/friends get away. The house is beautiful, immaculate, & has everything you could possibly need while staying there. The pool & backyard are so nice you’ll never want to leave. It’s also a short walk to the beach, Publix, stores, restaurants, & a 10 minute drive to St. Augustine. The few questions we did have were quickly answered by property manager Christa & owner John. We would highly recommend this property.

The location is excellent for accessing the beach, walking distance to shops and dining in Vilano Beach as well as being convenient to cross the bridge into the historic district for shopping, tours etc., with alot less traffic than other locations. The private pool and yard area truly feel like an oasis. Loved it and hope to visit again soon.

My family and I enjoyed this property, especially our 3 year old twins that took advantage of the games that were provided 😁. I will say it definitely kept them busy and occupied. The new pool was a nice addition and view was amazing, despite the construction side but we were certainly aware of it and it was not an issue and the rain. Everything was lovely. The only complaints we mainly had was the kitchen rug, the one corner just didn't wanna stay down, lol and not having a grill. However, completely understandable why some owners wouldn't want to have it but we're cookers and we appreciate those lil things, wink wink. We will more than likely rent again on our yearly visits but hoping that the new construction they had going will be available by then. The views from that newest addition looks to be amazing and the best from that angle. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My family and I absolutely loved this home! The kids didn't want to leave. The location is nice and convenient to everything in St Augustine. There's a Publix and a couple of local restaurants right across the street for food and drinks. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk away and it was very nice, not crowded at all. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the house was stocked with everything from cooking utensils, plates and bowls to beach towels, beach toys and even umbrellas, chairs and a pull cart. The pool area is amazing!

Very well maintained home with swimming pool, horse shoes and firepit on the side yard for quality family time! Convenient location to beach, restaurants and grocery store. Owner addressed issue with broken baby gate promptly.

Home away from home!
This home is great we enjoyed it a lot! The way this house is laid out allows everyone to sleep peacefully without Being able to hear through your the house. Beautiful back yard and fully stocked house. Will definitely be back! ( only thing to remember is to tell the Uber/shuttle service) to stay straight at the light into drive way for picking up dropping off. The GPS takes most of them to a tiny drive behind the home!
