This home rental is truly a piece of paradise. The house was lacking nothing. Beautiful comfortable spacious bedrooms. The open concept with the living and kitchen area was fabulous. The windows and amazing views of the lake! I really can't say one unkind word about this home. The individual ac settings were perfect. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We had great weather and enjoyed being out on the water everyday. The sandy bottom and non seaweed swimming area is priceless. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board provided. We also rented a boat and our dock was perfect. Lastly, having the laundry facilities and extra refrigerator was fabulous and so helpful. We had a busy 1st week with friends in and out. The 2nd week was much quieter. I think we conquered three puzzles. We have truly found our happy place, and can't wait to come back. RJ and Chrissy Styles

The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and the lake view gorgeous. Very comfortable beds. Great host; one of the best we have had with many VRBO rentals. Location was easy to visit the many historic attractions. I would highly recommend.

The house is very nice and the renovation is very well done. Everything we needed was available right there. The veiw was spectacular and could be seen from the deck, living room, dining area and the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the tv room downstairs was a great place to hang out.

I booked this VRBO for two family members visiting from Miami, Florida; both are world-travelers and possessed of discerning attitudes, having "seen it all". They absolutely loved this amenity-filled modern home, expansive back deck, dock, and gently wooded setting. Open-concept layout on the main level allows for enjoyable family gatherings with a commanding northerly view of Lake Bomoseen. The chef's kitchen will exceed your expectations, as the hosts have not missed any details. Gaze at the sparkling lake while relaxing in an enormous and plush sofa-system; there is an abundance of natural light flooding into the main level given its many windows and glass paneled doors leading out to the back deck and lake. Bedrooms are tastefully and elegantly appointed with top-notch mattresses and comfortable bedding. Bathrooms are luxurious and easily accessed from all bedrooms. If you need a little quiet time, just head downstairs to an enviable family room: The enormous smart TV is perfect for those of us who don't want to miss a minute of our favorite team's sporting events! The hosts were incredibly attentive throughout my family's stay; checking in-and-out was effortless. We will book this one again!

This is one of the best Vrbo rentals we have stayed in. The house is wonderful - It has everything you need., very clean, amazing view of lake. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The host was easy to communicate with, and check in and check out very easy. If I had to add one think it would be wine glasses :)

The property was extremely clean and had a lot of amenities and extras (everything you can need for cooking, crock pot, etc). Two main things: 1) linens for bed not provided (sheets). Had to find in closet and put on bed yourself. 2) if you leave fireplace on ,the thermostat will stop heating rooms. So just be careful to regulate use of fireplace. Otherwise place is great. View is great. Lake is great. 40 minutes from Killington

This was a really great stay for myself + friends! It was a skiing and snowboarding trip for us, so the place provided everything we needed: from a full kitchen to a cozy fireplace that was easy to light up after a cold day on the slopes. The view of the lake was beautiful and we got to see some ice fishing as well :) I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

We went for a long weekend ice fishing with 3 couples and 7 kids under 4 and had a great time! Craig always responded to any questions we had very quickly. The house was super clean and everything was labeled which made everything very easy. The house was in a perfect location right on the water. I highly recommend staying here

This home was perfect for our family. And very charming. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and tools you might need. There are games available for the kids. The neighborhood is very quiet with plenty of room between the neighbors. There were plenty of beds, pillows and blanket’s available as well as rollaway beds. 4 bathrooms with a large family is a fantastic feature! The kids loved the basement TV and surround sound. The host responds quickly to answer questions and area information. The large dining table had enough seating for everyone! Overall this home is above average and we truly enjoyed our winter stay! We would love to visit in the summer! Lake Bomoseen is beautiful even partially iced. Thank you for being a great host and providing a beautiful place to stay! We highly recommend!!! 5+++

This is the second year our family stayed at this house. We absolutely love it. The home is so spacious and totally updated. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. The swimming is the best on the lake. The house is on an extremely quiet road. We hope to return soon.

This was our second summer at this house and we loved every minute of it. The house was perfect for us. It was clean and orderly. The house was located at the sandy part of the lake which was great for our kids. There were able to catch fish, go kayaking and paddle boarding. We rented a boat and were allowed to dock right at the house, which was convenient. We made so many everlasting memories and look forward to staying there again next year. Craig was great to work with and always got right back to us with answers to our questions.

My wife is interested in her family’s genealogy so we decided to take a trip to Castleton, Vermont where her family hails. We love staying near water so we went to work searching for the perfect house. We found it on Lake Bomoseen. At first sight we knew this would fit our needs and more. Not only is the house situated on the lake with stunning views, it’s on the best part of the lake. Right off the deck there is the shore with a long dock stretching over shallow water where you can wade and enjoy all the the atmosphere has to offer. The landscaping where the back yard meets the water is carefully manicured and beautiful in every way. Did I mention the deck? Oh, yes! The deck, looking over the south end of the lake, offers a northeast view of Lake Bomoseen that presents an awesome view of sunrise. I made sure and set my alarm so my wife and I could sit on the deck and experience the sunrise as we sipped our tea. So quiet and serene; the water calm and still presented a mirror image of the horizon. The interior of the house complements and enhances the beautiful outdoor scenery. In the living room are grand windows facing the lake giving you unobstructed view if you rather enjoy everything from indoors. There are comfortable couches amid a spacious living space that gave us complete enjoyment. There’s even a gas fireplace if you choose. The master bedroom is situated as the living room to give you a gentle wake up as the sun rises. It sure is a wonderful way to start you day. The kitchen is well equipped with all the usual cooking utensils including a toaster and coffee maker. All the cabinet doors and drawers are labeled as to their contents. Very organized. There’s a very nice gas stove, dishwasher and refrigerator with ample freezer storage. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all open and adjoin each other making one space. The dining room table is quite large with lots of chairs for all your needs. There is a small town a short drive from the property where you can get some coffee, groceries and convenience items. There’s also a couple nice restaurants for breakfast not far away. Overall the property appears newly painted, well kept and very clean. The owner accommodated all our needs and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and recommend this property to anyone wanting to vacation in the area. My complements to the owners.

My family has stayed at various places on the lake for over 60 years. This house was the best we have ever stayed at. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable for the entire family. The location is outstanding. Many places on the lake have many steps to get to the lake, or the swimming area is rocky and not very good for children. This area is perfect. Besides the lawn being level with the lake, the swimming area is shallow for quite a distance. We really hated to leave, and hope we can return next summer. Very well appointed for cooking and comfort!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property last week. It was very clean and very organized. We loved having access to bikes, kayaks and the paddle board. This house is at a great location. There is a sandbar, which made it easy for the kids to play and catch small fish in their nets. The kitchen was beautiful and we enjoyed cooking in it. We enjoyed eating our meals outside while taking in the beautiful scenery of the lake. We were so sad to leave at the end of the week. We loved staying here and look forward to staying here again soon!

We have been vacationing on the Lake for about 20 years. This house was an amazing find! We hope to return for years to come!!! As soon as you walk in the views take your breath away. The house is absolutely gorgeous. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need! The bedrooms all had plenty of room and were all very comfortable. Everyone slept great!! The layout of the house is so well thought out. We had quite a bit of rain while we were there but had plenty of room to spread out. Watching a storm come across the lake is an amazing show! We enjoyed all the amenities. Lots of Kayaking and paddle boarding. We even finished a couple of puzzles! The kids loved having the basement and the couches down there were so comfortable! This house is a little piece of heaven. We can't wait till next year!!!

Our family’s stay was wonderful and relaxing. We appreciated the comfort and beauty of the home, as well as the beauty of the scenic lake. We all love to cook and enjoyed to wonderful cook’s kitchen. Many amenities to stay physically active or just relax and read a book. We plan to return next year!

We loved our time at this beautiful home, in the heart of the Bomoseen sand bar. Appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we appreciated the newly-renovated comforts, well-outfitted kitchen, and ample space for teens to take over the basement. ;-)
