Best part about this house is the location. Right across the street from the beach and minutes from restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The pool and movie/game room were the best parts about the house. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked with dishes/cookware. Loved the extra fridge/freezer and ice maker. The finishes and overall condition of the house are definitely not "luxury" as their add describes. Furnishings are pretty worn, especially the couch and all the beds need new mattresses...everyone that stated at the house could feel the springs! The pool was nice and in good condition, but as the previous review described all the plants in outside planters are dead and the outside is very lack-luster. Upon arrival bedding in one of the rooms had multiple stains and the bunk room had no blankets or comforters on the beds. Management was quick to remedy these issues. The overall cleanliness was pretty good, however a good deep cleaning is needed-light fixtures/fans, windows, etc were quite dirty.The golf cart was a fun add-on. We also enjoyed the community hot tub. Overall a decent place to stay and we enjoyed many fun filled hours at the beach and pool!

House was as promised. Tall ceilings. Lovely rooms with room for everyone. Rear balcony gives a nice view of the pool and lake. Golf cart was enjoyed by all and made short trips to beach, nearby stores, and restaurants very convenient. Theater room is nice plus particularly if you get a rainy day. Theater room was great for "movie nights". We also enjoyed the beach chairs being set and ready for us when we decided to head to the beach. Maintenance issue with water heater for upstairs was being addressed when we left. Rental company was very responsive. Only disappointment was the landscaping. Maintenance of the yard and plants has been abandoned. Lovely plants by pool (in pictures) were are dead. The landscaping around the house is not maintained at all. First day I spent some time pulling tall grass clumps out of the pool deck. Such as wonderful home otherwise. Regards, The Kelleys

This property was very spacious and accommodated our group very well. It was a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking and the two refrigerators was a nice bonus. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and the movie room. Maintenance was very responsive and the property was generally in good condition. I would recommend it.

We had 17 family members. Our teens really enjoyed the game room-media room. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. We were serenaded each night by the frogs out back. The only complaint I have was the washing machine. It was so small for such a large house. We could wash very few items at a time and didn’t actually feel things got clean. The oven door didn’t close tightly but everything still baked fine. Overall we really enjoyed Emerald Palace and would enjoy staying there again

We really loved this house! It’s in a great location! The pool is very nice and it rained while we were there so we got a lot of use out of the amazing theater room! We had an issue with one of the air conditioners and they sent someone to fix it immediately! I would highly recommend!!!

We had a group of ten that stayed at the Emerald Palace. Every room is the house is very spacious, large kitchen to accommodate large groups, and good size pool. I can’t say enough about the location. Our group enjoyed riding the golf cart around, however it was actually so close to the beach we walked across the street each day and didn’t need it for that at all. The game/movie room is a great addition that we spent a lot of time in. The property manager was very responsive anytime we had a question and we had no issues the entire stay. We look forward to staying here again soon. Thanks to the entire Harleman Vacation Rentals team for a great week!

Beautiful Home, so much room! Kids LOVED the pool and everyone loved the spacious kitchen, living room and bedrooms, the theater room/game room was also a hit. The access to the ocean is very close. The host was very helpful and understanding, we will definitely stay here again!

Short walk to the beach, spacious home, could use additional outdoor space for entertaining small children. Overall a great vacation for the family.

We stayed here for Spring Break with four families with teenagers (8 adults / 10 teenagers) and we would book it again if we come back to Destin. The house is more spacious than the pictures make it seem and the bedrooms are all huge. So much space to move around and never felt crowded even when we would all eat together with group meals. The basketball net in the pool and the movie theater room were huge hits! The cleaning crew did a great job and we were impressed with how clean it was when we checked in. We had some minor issues that were fixed or attended to right away and the management company had excellent communication throughout the week. There is a huge pantry and two large refrigerators which helped keep all the food and drinks out of the way and didn't clutter up the counters. The location right across the beach was so convenient and we were able to go back and forth all day when we needed something. The Discounted beach setups offered with the house were right in front of Crab Trap which has outdoor bathrooms so that was a great perk as well. We had four SUV/trucks and although the parking says 6, it would have been tight to fit two more vehicles but it was fine for us, All in all, this was one of the best houses we have rented (and we rent a LOT of houses!)

We traveled as a large group of about 20 ranging from babies through grandparents and this property fit our needs and then some! The location of the property right across from the beach made it extremely efficient for people to come and go as they pleased for nap time or to head home to grab something we forgot. The beach chair set-up was perfect to ensure we always had a spot. The first-floor bedrooms were perfect for the early risers or those that could not or did not want to climb stairs all day! The excess amount of bathrooms was perfect for our multiple families in terms of getting ready for the day or a night out. The game room was an added bonus with enough to keep the kids and parents busy during some downtime or bad weather. The pool was a perfect size and a great way to relax after a long day at the beach. All of the amenities were as described and the property owner was quickly responsive to questions before the stay to ensure we were prepared. The common spaces were big enough for everyone to enjoy a meal together and the kitchen was big enough for all to congregate as some were cooking. We would definitely consider returning!

Wonderful stay!

8 adults and 9 kids stayed here comfortably for a week. All of the rooms are spacious and well furnished. Fairly close, easy access to the beach. The game room was a huge hit with the kids!

We enjoyed this home for its space, location, and pool.

Our stay was wonderful, the property was very clean, location was great. We are considering coming back next year.

The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home layout was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and utensils. The kids loved the outdoor areas and the garage game room! We all appreciated the option of having the pool heated since we were there in October. Management was excellent during our stay, and contacted us several times making sure our needs were met. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We had 8 adults and 2 kids - 9 and 15. The house was great! There was lots to do and no one ever got bored. There were only a couple ver minor issues - there is a pool table but no cue sticks so I bought a couple at Walmart. We could not get the ice maker to work so we bought a bag of ice. It would have been nice to have a golf cart but the short walk to the beach and Crab Trap did us good 😊 The complimentary beach chairs & umbrellas were awesome!! I would definitely stay there again!! We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. The homeowner was always accessible as was his maintenance man, Miguel. We had a couple small issues in the beginning and they were fixed immediately. We will definitely stay again!!

This house was great for our group! Location is everything! We really enjoyed the beach service-umbrellas and chairs set up for us daily. The pool area was also highly used. Kitchen was spacious although the cleaners should wipe the cabinet fronts down better between renters. We used the washer and dryer daily which was great for washing our beach towels since the house didn’t come with any. Washer has a bit of mildew though. Bedrooms are spacious with walk in closets and each one has its own bathroom. We could’ve had more guests in our party with plenty of room. The house came with a lot of pool and beach toys/floats which was also nice to not have to buy those. We would absolutely stay here again! Really appreciated all the communications via VRBO.

There was certainly enough room for a big group and the chair and umbrellas set up service was perfect. Extra drinking glasses were needed, especially wine glasses. The cabinet set up is awkward and too high to put the glasses away. There is a leak in the Laundry room and garage which needs addressed.

We are a family of grandparents, adult kids and grand kids. There were 16 of us in total - House has lots of king beds which is important to us. the pool is a nice size and the game room in the garage was a big hit. The location is directly across from the beach so going back and forth was easy. We had a couple issues with maintenance which they responded to immediately - We brought our own pool and beach toys, but they have a large supply there in the garage and our rental included 4 rental beach chairs and two umbrellas already set up for us each day.

Great location. Property was not taken care of. Lots of little things broken or in need of fixing.

Everything was beautiful and clean we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. It was a 30 second walk to the beach.

Easy to book…after that just show up and enjoy

This was our first time to Destin and we were pleasantly surprised. We loved the beachside town feel and walked almost everywhere. The house is in a perfect location — right across the street from the beach! We’re an active family who loves the beach so this spot could not be more perfect. The house is beautiful and great for a large group. We stayed in the downstairs master bedroom and I had a hard time leaving that jacuzzi bathtub behind. The kitchen had everything we needed and when we weren’t hanging out in the kitchen/bar area we were in the amazing salt water pool! I had never been in a salt water pool before and it was glorious! Can’t wait to return to Destin and stay here again!”
