The outside of the house did not match the inside. There were a couple safety hazards - a hole in the floor in the kitchen, and 2 wall outlets with no face plate covers. The microwave, fridge, and stove were all filthy. They looked like they had never been cleaned, ever. Not the same dining room table as in the pictures. Was replaced with a set that looked like it came from the city dump. Dirty floor rugs left on top of the table. No curtains on the windows downstairs. A gross well-used bean bag in the corner of the living room. Couldn't even be bothered to have regular, local channel tv, which is free. I had to stream from my phone to the tv and couldn't get it to work. Most of the closets had junk just thrown in them haphazardly-a vacuum, dirty sheets, blankets, and towels. The linens on the beds were not clean either. Lots of cobwebs on vents on the ceiling and several water damage spots too. Doesn't really look like the house was cleaned, even though guests have to pay a fee for it. No AC. The back door entrance was hard to traverse, especially for my mother who is older, as the step into the house was high up and hard to pull/push yourself into the house with nothing to really hold onto. There should be a railing. Overall extremely disappointed and will never stay there again. Photos of areas of concern are available. I would appreciate a refund.

Nice home in a relatively quiet neighborhood. This was a great location for day trips to Columbus, Yellow Springs and Dayton to visit museums and go hiking. We’re so glad we were able to bring our dogs and the home was comfortable for young children. Thank you!

Generally clean, but very basic and no frills. I served our purposed, since we only slept there and did hiking and visited the museum during the day. Town was very nice. Suggestion - trash the couch in the living room!

I booked this location last minute for a funeral we had to attend and the host was quick to respond to questions. The home is an older home in an established neighborhood that has had some recent renovations. I loved the nostalgia of the creaking wooden floors. Overall the home is clean, comfortable and welcoming and had everything we needed for our short stay. The neighbors are very nice and we chatted a couple of times while we were sitting on the back patio. I would not hesitate to come back if I have the need in the future.

I needed a place to stay that in Springfield that was safe and comfortable. Although I was not there much, the house felt homey and safe. Jack was very responsive with questions and reached out to make sure I didn’t need anything. I would definitely stay again if available next time I am in the area

The house was very clean, Jack was very responsive about any issues that we might have had (we had none) and he was very kind. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors kind. Would definitely recommend for anyone that is looking to stay in Springfield.

Seems most things were left overs from other guests. No smoke dedectors, or co2 alerts. Property had damage. Nothing special
