If you love the outdoors like our family (our 4 kids and all the grands), this is the home for you! Home was convienent to the bay and the Gulf. We spent daytime hours in natures’s swimming pool and evenings and nights at the home’s awesome pool area.
The home was great for our individual family time,with its unique separate spaces. There were a few things that needed updating but that bother us-because we literally were outdoors so much!
Marti was great to deal with and very responsive to messages. She has the home well stocked, from the kitchens and bathrooms to all of the things you need for a beach DAY! We could easily have flown here with just our personal items and not missed a thing for beach days.

Great house, location, Marti had everything we needed. My whole family had fun being together and had individual spaces as well. Kayaks were a blast, we saw baby turtles, dolphin and manatees❤️🐬🐢

The house was just as expected and more. Marti was the best hostess we have ever had for a vacation rental. We had everything we needed and more. The house was perfect for our "Fam" vacation (which is 2 unrelated, but best-friend, families who have been vacationing together since 1999). The separate sleeping areas gave everyone a place to get-away from the rest of the group when/if they wanted to. The private pool was a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The beach is very walkable and private. The dock is even more walkable. Everything was perfect...except that the week went by too quickly. Thank you Marti for everything!

The house was just as expected and more. Marti was the best hostess we have ever had for a vacation rental. We had everything we needed and more. If you are looking for a family friendly house in a great location in Manasota Key than this is it! This super clean house has everything you need to have a great time. Fully stocked kitchens, nice beds, great pool, laundry rooms, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, kayaks, fishing tackle and bicycles and more. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. The kids enjoyed seeing all of the lizards and iguanas running around the property. Plenty of space to have some privacy when you needed it. Very short walks to the bayside dock and the ocean. About 1.5 miles from restaurants and the convenience store. Lastly Marti is a excellent host. She is very attentive to anything you might need and goes above and beyond making sure her guests have a great vacation.

Feel like home
Marti’s house is great. So many rooms and beds. We all eat together on the second floor, the kitchen was excellent, whatever kitchen supplies we need she has it. All her kitchen supplies are very nice qualities. She has everything we need, grills, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, and good qualities towels. Feels like home

It was an awesome set up for our family which included 4 married daughters, grandkids , teens and young adults. and also gave everyone a bit more privacy. We had a great place in the blue gecko and around the pool for evenings, lunch and dinner together! Marti was the best host we have ever worked with and was quick to help out and go above and beyond to line up a crockpot for us. And get the ac fixed right away. We will definitely be back!

If you have a large party this is the place to go. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautifully landscaped property. Plenty of outside seating, which is nicely laid out. Beautiful landscaping! Marti was very kind and communicated with us all the time.

Three generations enjoyed staying at the Gecko House for a wonderful beach vacation. It is a unique layout that allowed us all to be together but also to have our own space. The house was clean and stocked well. Gecko House had comfy mattresses, nice linens, beach wagons, chairs, pool/ beach toys and more. It is a nice, short walk to the beach on a private path. The walk was easy even for the 3 year olds in the group. The beach was beautiful and so quiet even on the holiday weekend. If you stay at the Gecko House, I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Great place for large extended family
