My family of 10 loved this property. With 3 king bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a large loft, there was plenty of room (and bathrooms) for everyone. I loved watching sunrise on the balcony, sipping coffee. The Surfside Market across the street had fresh donuts in the morning, and twice we ordered delicious pizzas from the adjacent restaurant (ready in 15 minutes!). The beach was so clean, and the pool was delightful. We even had use of a wagon, beach chairs and an umbrella, stored in the garage storage room. Two covered parking spaces for our cars were so so convenient. Carl was very responsive and explained procedures clearly.

Condo was absolutely lovely with fantastic beach view. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Recently remodeled master bath was spectacular! Cooking utensils were limited, might bring some with you if you’re planning to cook.

First time in Sandbridge. We’ll be back! Condo was spacious and location was perfect; close to the beach and the market/restaurant right across the street meant no car needed once we arrived. Breakfast and coffee on the balcony will be missed! Nicely stocked. Only critique was the kitchen and table tops could have been cleaner- sticky- (bedrooms and bathrooms were fine). Perfect get away, thanks for sharing your beautiful condo!

Wonderful location. Walkable to grocery store, restaurants, ice cream and of course the beach, 10 min drive to very nice part of town with large grocery chain and various restaurants and stores. Convenient two space free parking, rental comfy with beachy decor. Good assortment of kitchen supplies for cooking.Only suggestion would be oven mitts, unless maybe they were there and I missed them. Would rent again if back in area.

We loved the location! The access to the beach, the nearby shops and the restaurants were extremely convenient. The condo had plenty of space for our needs. It could use a little updating (i.e., screen door repair) and a more thorough clean in some areas (under the couches, shudders, fan blades, air vents, etc.), but overall it was nice. Carl was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

It is a large, top-floor condo overlooking the water. Nice balcony to see the sunrise in the morning and sunset at night. Clean with anything you might need including beach/pool towels. Often an overlooked pleasure, but the toilet paper was fantastic! No one likes the bad toilet paper we've come to expect at most hotels or rental properties. They do it right, all the details!

Gorgeous, clean property for us to use when our lacrosse team had a tournament at the Virginia Beach Field House -- only 20 mins away, and the owner was flexible with us when our check-in time moved due to the tournament schedule moving around. Would definitely stay here again, lovely neighborhood and morning walk on the beach was the best!

We were very happy with the rental, location, and extra touches that made it more than expected. There were 8 adults and one child on our trip and a great time was had by all. Our Host was very good about answering questions promptly and offered little niceties throughout the rental that just gave it that little extra. K-cups and coffee fixins, Hand soaps , dish and laundry supplies, shower stuff and much more. We are already talking about the next time!

We had never stayed at a condo, but we ended up loving this place. The condo had a second story loft space where the kids slept, and the main floor was spacious for two families to spread out. From the balcony we could see both the ocean, beach, and the grocery/restaurant. If you like people-watching from above, this was awesome. The storms rolled in, and we could see all the action! Nice amenities, clean pool, safe keypads for entry to everything. Master suite was very nice.

We loved the location. It was better than the pictures and the amenities were great. We would all stay there again. The entire place looked like a beach vacation home! The floors were not as clean as we would’ve liked. There was grit/sand/debris on all the bathroom rugs - we think the floors weren’t cleaned. The freezer section of the fridge left something to be desired - we had to clean it. The beach umbrella didn’t have a device to push it into the sand and the wagon wheels were very small. We ended up calling a local company to deliver 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs directly to the beach each remaining day of our stay. The restaurant and market were directly across the street - both were excellent. It’s about 45 minutes from Norfolk airport. We suggest placing an advance order for Uber or Lyft several days in advance for timely transport. The host, Carl, was responsive to our requests as when we arrived. I recommend!

The property is beautiful! Beds were super comfy, plenty of pillows, extra blankets, etc. The host even had a big basket of beach towels ready for use. The location was great - ocean views and quick access to the market. We had 10 people in our group and there was more than enough room for everyone and hot water for showers. *If I could suggest one improvement, an ice maker would be great. Highly recommend this rental.

Excellent location and very spacious property! The condos seemed very safe and had a lot of security measures to get up to the condos.

First time we have ever booked place for whole family & it was awesome! Great space, views & location.

only had hot water sporadically. hotwater would only suffice for 2 people to take showers, and after that, the rest of us had cold showers. very unpleasant. i informed the property manager Carl of this issue right away - the first night we arrived, at 12:50 a.m. he did not answer till next morning, and did offer to come by to look. However, at the point that he offered - the hot water seemed to be working , so told him never mind - assuming that the prior night's lack of hot water was a fluke. But that was not the case - on the second night we were there - we had the same thing - enough hot water for the first 1-2 people's showers, but everyone else got cold. Again, very very unpleasant and inconvenient - and really inexcusable. texted Carl 2nd night of our stay as well, at 10:37pm- hot water had stopped working again. No response till next morning 7:15, and said that after we check out, which was to be later that day, he'd look at the water heating system with the maintenance guy to figure out what's going on, and that he'd reach back out to me to see " how we can remedy the situation."Again, on the morning of checkout, after the above text from Carl, we again did not have enough hot water, and couldnt get hot showers before we left . i texted Carl again at 9:43 a.m. to let him know that again - 3rd day in a row, the hot water stopped working.he responded that he "noted this" would notify maintenance. We checked out that afternoon, and despite Carl's assurance that he'd get back to me about how to remedy our bad experience with running out of hot water - no word from him the rest of Wednesday. On Thursday morning, at 11:02, i texted Carl to ask how much of a refund he would give to us for the insufficient hot water issue we expereinced throughout our stay at his property. No response. 1:57 p.m. Thursday - texted him again. No response. 3:54 pmThursday - texted him again . No response. 5:29 p,m, - texted him again, and finally after this - my 4th text to him following our checkout - he replied that he'd send a response to me via VRBO that evening. And so he did. What a response it was! In his response,Carl had the nerve to FALSELYaccuse my family of leaving the condo in poor condition - he claimed there "appeared" to be feces on a bathroom wall - LIE; that furniture in LR was rearranged - LIE, &other lies/stupidities,. Note- he only came up with all these bogus claims AFTER i asked for refund. Plenty of other properties in VaBeach-AVOID THIS ONE
