Everything was fabulous. The house is wonderful with everything needed for our stay. The dock is so enjoyable to sit and relax and watch the sunset. All different Lake toys were available and great fun since the house is situated in a cove away from main lake traffic. Look forward to being back in the fall.

Beautiful lake front home - we had a blast visiting our daughter and her friends at Clemson. Owners were terrific. The fire pit overlooking the lake was the icing on the cake. Overall a wonderful holiday with family and friends

Simply the best. Wonderful hospitality and communication. The home's location, layout, and décor was perfect for our family and guest. Temps were a little chilly, but looking forward to coming back in the summer when we take full advantage of the fire pit, fishing and lake watersports. Highly recommend !!

only issue is Direct TV very hard to navigate and understand multiple remotes and channel listings and lost signal but host got it back on line next day Other than that excellent property and would stay again

We came in to visit our Clemson freshman and catch our first game. It was so nice to gather as a family under one roof. What a place, all the comforts of home in Texas, and then some! The house was well laid out and furnished beautifully! The sunsets were spectacular! We hope to stay again! Thank you for the chance to reconnect with our kid in such a special place!

My family like always Love this house and it’s location. This is our third time staying at this particular house on Lake Keowee. We have been staying at Lake Keowee for over 11 years now and this is one of our absolute favorites. You could not get a better full Lake view anywhere else. You also have your own little island beside the house to walk to everyday too which is a big plus. We had a family of 5 and it suited our needs perfectly. The beds in the house are very comfortable and both bedrooms downstairs have King sized beds. Everything is so clean and the views of the Lake from the house can’t be beat. In addition to the house, the McGuffin’s are some of the nicest owners you will ever meet. They were always accommodating if anything ever was needed. You could not get better people to rent a house from Lake Keowee from. We can’t wait to return to this magical place by the Lake.

We had the opportunity to stay for a Mom’s weekend with my daughter and her Sorority. When we found out the ring ceremony was going to be later than we thought the owners were very flexible to allow us to add an additional stay . We were able to enjoy the home with several moms and our daughters. It was a beautiful weekend with amazing views and talks by the outside fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We were a bit disappointed that we would only be able to use the water “toys” if we paid extra but other than that a great stay and we do hope to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location! 15 to 20 minutes from nice hiking and pickle ball courts close by. The bed we super comfy! There are two king beds which we weren’t expecting. We thought we were getting one queen and one king. So that was an awesome surprise. My only suggestion would be to move the loft bed away from the half wall upstairs. It made us a little nervous. All in all a great trip! Would definitely rent again!

Gorgeous property ! Lovely secluded property yet close to civilization. House very beautiful and well maintained. It was no problem for us, but 3rd bedroom is in a loft. Love this place and hope to come back. The pier is an awesome place to have coffee…what a view!

The house & location were wonderful. Temperatures were a bit low & it rained most of the time, so we didn't get to enjoy the outside deck & fire ring. Look forward to a return trip when temps are warmer.

The property, house and location are adequately nice. However, from the moment you arrive you are being monitored by video cameras that are not mentioned in the listing description. The front door cameras are understandable. But when my family sat down for dinner on the back deck and noticed a camera pointed directly at our table, we felt obliged to turn it slightly towards the side yard, so we would not be under observation during our meal. Little did we know what an issue this would cause with the homeowners. Only after leaving the property did we receive a complaint about the camera not being repositioned to a precise location and we received an extra charge for asking house keeping to readjust the video monitor. Also, prior to checking out, we noticed some debris that washed up on shore from the lake and as a courtesy put that directly in the trash which we received a charge for. The homeowner was extremely rude and confrontational on the phone when discussing the extra $86 charges.

My husband and I enjoyed a week of a much needed respite. The home was beautiful, clean, welcoming and oh so comfortable. We loved the quiet and peaceful mornings while on the deck enjoying our breakfast every morning. We were amazed how clear the waters were around the bay. Very cute, comfortable home. Loved the covered floating boat dock. Could sit out even when it rained.
