I mostly wanted to discuss the mention of a hot tub at this property -- there is NOT a hot tub and I think the host was intentionally misleading about that. We scoured the reviews before we stayed as we didn't see pictures of the hot tub, but the listing says that there is one. After we arrived, we asked the host and they responded quickly and said they were referring to the Jacuzzi tub in the main bathroom. Considering this was the only filter we used to stay at this house while searching listings, I would imagine others would do the same in their search. Since my friends and I did not intend to sit around in a bathtub together on our weekend away, we were pretty let down by this. Most of the home is pretty dated, which is interesting because the host is now trying to claim damages. We had a good time, the views were beautiful, town is lovely, but we would have stayed elsewhere had I known these facts. Unfortunately, this house seems to be a money grab by the owners at every turn, and I would advise you stay away.

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO! The kitchen was fully stocked by far more than most, the beds were so comfortable, and the amount of games was also a great touch! Close enough to town but sits back in the trees so there is an amazing unblocked view of Grand Lake! We had an issue and the host was so wonderful helping accommodate to make everything work out. She is super responsive and helpful, treated us like we had known her for years how kind and hospitable she is. We would definitely go back! Thank you!!

What a spectacular view of the snow capped mountains from the couch that allowed me to curl up with the dog and read books and bring in the New Year all the while watching the incredible fireworks display over the lake. Cabin has all that you need and is well furnished and extremely comfortable and convenient to be both "away" from town but just a quick mile and you are downtown!

We had a fabulous holiday week. Really Cozy and nice place, stunning view and easy communication. Close to Granby Ranch for ski and mountains, lakes for fun activities.

The home is very comfortable and with awesome views! Close to great restaurants and shopping. Also short & long hikes and boat rides on the lakes! Jaci is quick to respond and made our stay very pleasant! I highly recommend you stay here! Thank you Jaci for sharing your home!

We were in town for a friend's wedding. The place was wonderful and close to the downtown and Grand Lodge where the wedding took place. The house is up in the mountains from the town, so you need to drive unless you are a big hiker. Beautifully views from the house .

We are a group of middle-aged and retired hikers and outdoors enthusiasts. The property had great views through changing aspens across Shadow Mountain Lake to Byers Peak. The house itself was a marvelous mountain log lodge, with modern amenities, and was very clean. We had to resist the urge to just relax on the deck enjoying the view all day!

Our family much enjoyed our stay! Very clean and great location near the national park and shops in grand lake. Was a great place to relax at the end of the day, and the host was very responsive.

Our family truly enjoyed our weekend stay at Blue Spruce Vista. We had our Son, Daughter-in-law and Granddaughter with us. We grilled out both nights with the incredible back-drop of Shadow Mountain Lake. The kitchen had everything you would want. The deck had rocking chairs plus a small fire stove. We walked back from downtown and hiked around the area. It was magic. Thanks so much.

Great place to stay, kitchen stocked well but no beater available. Note there are 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower- we made it work. Would recommend this home!

Very comfortable property on Woodpecker Hill overlooking Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake and the village of Grand Lake. The view from the living room and deck is beautiful and peaceful. The house is very well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Both a coffeemaker and a Kuerig are included. Very fast wireless internet connection and tv’s with all the popular streaming services. We enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to next year.

We selected this house based primarily for the view & closeness to downtown. We can confirm the view is Amazing!!!!, and downtown is only a very few minutes away (walkable). The kitchen is very well appointed with spices, utensils, bowls & pots & pans, etc - just like home!! The TV’s were easy to use and bed (Master) very comfortable. We had a wonderful time there & would highly recommended to anyone looking for lodging in the Grand Lake area!!

From start to end this visit was near perfect! Jaci was a great communicator and property was just as pictured! The view can’t be beat! Our dogs loved the huge wraparound porch! Beds were so comfy and kitchen was well stocked! Washer and dryer were nice to have. It was close enough to town to walk but the hill on the way back to the cabin was like doing 10 minutes on the stair master! But it was well worth it! Only a few tiny things I would add- knife sharpener and the fridge was super cold near the back and froze a few things… really great place for all ages and dogs!!

We stayed for the first time at the Blue Spruce property and didn’t want to leave! Perfect layout with everything one needs, spectacular views of Grand Lake, right up from Main Street…top tier property. Jaci was very helpful and a terrific host. Highly recommend this property.

This was our first time renting a house. We did not know what to expect, but wow. The home was beautiful, clean and provided all of the amenities we could possibly need. The views are amazing, over looking the lake with the mountains in the background it was lake a postcard. We will definitely be back.

This home was great for out stay. There were five of us, myself, my husband and three of our grandkids: 14, 11 and 8. Plus the 50lb poodle. It was a perfect fit. Things we really liked: The view! Amazing view over the town, lake and onto the mountains. Even the grandkids kept saying how great it was. Location was good. It was close to town and easy to get anywhere we wanted. You would need 4wheel drive or chains in the winter. The house was well supplied and we had what we needed. If you have a dog she even has poop bags, bowls and our dog loved the doggie comforter. The wrap around deck was his hangout. Things we wished we had. Kitchen: would have loved a tea kettle and a tea strainer. A toaster. We broiled in the oven for toast etc and it was fine. More directions for the thermostat. We would turn heat down because it was hotter than we are use to and it would only go down for an hour or so. We could not figure out how to get it to stay longer than the next set time. The last day I did just put it on the away setting which is what we probably should have done before. There were not directions and we needed them. Overall this place was great and we already want to go back. All the grandkids liked it as well and the 14 year old boy even commented on how cozy and nice it was more than once. So five stars from us!

Beautiful location and great house. Well stocked and prepped for any size family. Everything was great. Enjoyed the entire week.

Everything about this property was phenomenal. It was fully stocked!! The kitchen was stocked with everything from cooking to baking to wet bar necessities. Can’t forget the round ice trays for old fashions. I walked in was in awe with everything that was there for our use clean ing supplies soaps anti bacterial wipes makeup remover qtips I could just go on. what was the most charming was all the hooks around the house, that was extremely convenient for all the apparel we brought in. This home came with bottom less games for our entertainment. Our favorite was the weightless snowballs. My grown adult children loved the snowball fight I started from upstairs. That was one of the highlights of our trip!! I could go on and on and rave about this property, but I think you got the idea how well stocked comfortable and convenient the house was. Checking in and out was easy! You want a home away from home this house was it!!! We can’t wait to book this property again. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas ❤️

Excellent view, within walking distance of town. In winter inaccessible without a 4x4 vehicle (not a problem for us) Wonderful place for a family scape
