This is the second time we've stayed at this charming condo @Bernard's Landing, both times in late summer. Brother-in-law owns a house in the nearby Boardwalk. For large family events, we need this condo for overflow visitors. It's a great location, super convenient for all. My favorite spot: morning coffee on the outdoor deck. You are right on the water, and the view is lovely. We also found the unit to be spotless, very comfortable and stocked with any essentials you may need, or might have forgotten. The pool is really nice, as are the pickleball courts. Best of all: the owners were super-responsive throughout the entire booking process. Once we arrived, it was clear they were standing by, at the ready, in case we had any concerns or needed anything. Their communication was GREAT. We'll definitely stay here again. I'd highly recommend. : )

This is our 5th year at SML. This house was by far the best equipped, cleanest, and best decorated home we have stayed in. The owners do an excellent job of accomodating their guests.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was, by far, the most well-stocked rental I have ever stayed in. A quick look in the guestbook reinforced that this was a standard and most guests remarked specifically on this! Views of the lake were great and lots of instructions on how to use everything was handy and appreciated. Everything was clean and the kitchen had many condiments and spices which kept our grocery bills down.
We would happily stay here again!

The condo was felt like home and had a beautiful view out onto the lake. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck each morning and evening. It was quiet and cozy. We enjoyed all of the amenities as well.

We loved this beautifully decorated condo! It was light and airy, but also very cozy/homy. The view of the lake was amazing and I didn't want to leave. You can tell the owners take great pride in making it a very comfortable experience for their guests. I will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed the amenities in this rental and in the community. We used the pools, tennis courts, kayak rental and main beach area. The view from the condo was spectacular!

What a beautiful and comfortable condo for our trip! Our hosts were clear and consistent in their communication and the logistics or renting here were extremely easy. The unit is clean, inviting, and the perfect spot for a short stay or a week vacation. We used the beach, the pool, the pickleball courts and enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at this condo. We were as delighted as we were the first time. The location is wonderful; the grandchildren loved jumping off the dock that is just outside the building. The unit is exactly as advertised, very clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked with pans/utensils/dishes. The grounds at Bernard's Landing and the facilities are immaculate and very well kept. Everyone had a splendid time both inside and outside the condo!

Decor is sooo lovely! View is wonderful! Lots of little extras (like some butter which we had forgotten to pack!) which were very nice! Gym and pools were great-not crowded. Was rainy for second half of our trip, but hey, a rainy day at the lake is still a day at the lake!! Definitely want to stay here again!! Thank you!!

My husband and I wanted to visit the lake and be near family who lives in a nearby neighborhood. We have two children (12 and 6) and we wanted a place we could all enjoy and unwind. It was the perfect location to enjoy the lake and nearby places to grab a bite. The property was just what we had in mind. Beautiful views and the owners added nice little touches like a bottle of wine, snacks, beach towels, life jackets and beach toys. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Highly recommend - As pictured - Very Clean and smelled fresh - Comfy beds - Gorgeous lake view - Appreciate the extra touches, like bottled water, coffee, snacks and nice hand soap at all sinks - condo decorated nicely. We were in town for golf tournament, the location was perfect for us. Would stay again if ever in that area.

First time to Smith Mountain Lake and first time I rented some one’s place besides being in Costa Rica, normally I stay in resorts or hotels. This was absolutely the best place I’ve stayed! Everything was amazing. I will definitely rent from this company again and hopefully stay at the same place in late October

This is a relaxing, beautifully decorated and furnished 2nd floor condo, with amazing views of the lake especially at sunrise. Everything is first rate and spacious. We loved the nearby heated pool. Would visit again!

If looking for a great place to stay at Smith Mountain Lake especially if you have a boat or plan to rent one, I highly recommend this location. Boat rental just around the bend and docks right by the unit. The unit itself is in great condition and fully stocked. Just be aware, if you have issues with stairs, you may want to choose another location. (As in a totally different building). We had no problems and would definitely return!

Great stay at this beautiful condo on Smith Lake
We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were super helpful and when I reached out provided an immediate response. The Condo is awesome, was well equipped and the view was spectacular! The amenities including the two pools, beach area and workout room were great and the property is a pleasure to walk. The restaurant and marina were also top notch and the boat we rented reasonable and very nice and new. We will be back!

Delightful lakeside condo!
We just returned from a delightful week at Smith Mountain Lake, at this lovely condo located lakeside. The photos accurately show the condo. The kitchen is very well supplied with equipment, every room was spotlessly clean, and the deck off the living room was a wonderful spot to enjoy the lake. The amenities at Barnard's Landing are wonderful, and made the stay fun for us and our two grandchildren. We heartily recommend this condo!

Wonderful SML retreat
We stayed at this condo with our family of 4. The location was amazing!! ❤️ This was our first time at Bernards Landing, but after walking around the complex, we concluded we picked the best condo location, being right on the water, having a small private beach just steps away (could see it from our deck), short walk to the main beach, club house, and boat rentals.
The hosts have thought of everything to really make our trip enjoyable. From the comfortable lake decor indoors and the fun enjoyable swing outside, to the well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. There wasn’t anything they missed.
If your looking at Bernards Landing as your vacation stay, and looking at multiple units to pick from, pick this one! You won’t be disappointed! We’ll be back!
