Very nice, clean cottage that was perfect for an easy weekend getaway. Lisa was prompt with answering questions and the check-in process with very easy. Beautiful setting and nicly done cottage.

Clean, comfortably appointed and well stocked, this little house was private (despite being on the owners property) with lovely views, high end linens and comfortable furniture. Owner was easily reachable and responsive. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

The cottage was as nice as advertised, and the hilltop views were even better than we had anticipated. We enjoyed several dinners at the outdoor table where we could admire the views and watch the fireflies and birds. A picturesque getaway in a central location for exploring the surrounding area...Charles Town, Antietam Battlefield, Harper's Ferry, C&O Canal, Boonsboro, Shepherdstown, Sharpsburg, Brunswick, Williamsport, and Hagerstown. We also enjoyed a Saturday visit to the Burwell-Morgan Mill in Millwood, Virginia -- a working grist mill built in the 1700's.

Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle! We loved every bit of it! Thoughtful accomodations, soft pillows & bed, exceptionally clean, only 6 miles from Harper's Ferry. Thank you!

So first thought driving up the drive with cornfield on both sides I’m thinking Children of the Corn but as I approach the Cozy Cottage it turns to Field of Dreams build it an they will come. It was a Awesome Cozy Cottage. Lisa an Mark are two of the nicest host you will ever met. Short trip to Paddy’s Pub an a great visit at The Barn in Harpers Ferry with pizza delivered from Anthony’s Pizza. Just a awesome visit to West Virginia Charles Town at the Cozy Cottage with great host Lisa an Mark ..

We had a great 3-night stay at the cozy cottage. It was the perfect launch point for exploring Winchester and Harper’s Ferry. Only wish we’d had more time. Lisa was very quick to respond to every question. Thanks for your wonderful little vacation cottage.

Just wonderful. A perfect blend of exactly what you need without cramping the space. Very fresh, feels new, with top notch cleanliness. Cottage is atop a hill, adjancent to the owners home, but it feels totally separate and private. Beautiful views. The creature comforts were spot on, like cold AC, Wifi/streaming abilities, and bedding. Had good storage/shelving and drawers so we could stay organized when unpacked. All in all, we were very pleased!

My husband and I celebrated our 15year anniversary in WV and found this amazing gem. The owners are super friendly, the rental was immaculate and the decor was inviting. If your looking for a great place to stay, do not look beyond the Cozy Cottage. We definitely plan to visit again!

The cottage was the perfect stay for a quick girls weekend in Charles Town. Although our hiking plans were ruined due to some unexpected snowfall, we still had a great time. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The host was excellent too! When one of our vehicles got stuck in the snow, the host (Lisa) called her brother to help us get the car out. Despite the snow, we were able to enjoy the local wineries, grab some good food in town and enjoy our trip!

We had a lovely time on the property for two nights, a first time away for us as a new couple AND a birthday celebration. Lisa was communicative, super helpful, reassuring that this would be good, and helped to make it a special time. Even though the cottage is right next to the garage of the main house, it still felt very private. And the location, especially in the winter, allowed for an almost 360 horizon view, which was amazing for stargazing and wondering about how there could be so many planes in the sky late at night. Going where? From where? The quiet of the Cozy Cottage made it possible to have these thoughts.

Our stay here truly was splendid. Everything on this property is exactly as described, with thoughtful touches everywhere. I wondered how a property billed as close to amenities could also have a more rural, bucolic atmosphere — but this property definitely immerses one in the country-side while being in close proximity to what the area has to offer. And the bed is one of the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed in for awhile! Great property, and great communication by the property-owner.

We can’t say enough about this little place it was beautiful . Had everything we needed in it . The land and house around the cottage was beautiful . We would definitely stay again . The owner were super nice if you need they are their to help . We had a great Thanksgiving week

What a fabulous stay we had! We came into town for a wedding and stayed at this listing. It's not only one of the cleanest places I've stayed but it was overall very inviting. The bed was super comfortable as was the pull-out bed. There were plenty of fluffy towels and blankets also. Plus there were cute surprises for us when we got there! Lisa was quick to respond which made everything that much simpler. Thank you!

We loved everything about our stay. The small house is immaculate and decorated beautifully. The house is stocked with everything you could need,, including a lovely welcome basket with snacks, bottled water, and wine. The owners are responsive if needed, but you enjoy complete privacy during your stay. The Eastern Panhandle area of West Virginia is gorgeous with an endless array of activities available. We will be back!

The only thing missing during our weekend stay here was sunshine...and we can't blame the owners for that! The cottage is super-duper clean and the listing is 100% accurate. We keep our home clean - and this was like being at home -- CLEAN. There was a little treat basket waiting for us upon arrival...what a lovely surprise. The location is picturesque with views of rolling farmland hills. Close to Harper's Ferry and downtown Charles Town. The outdoor patio set and propane fire pit are really nice touches that gave us a little escape to sit outside on one of our nights there. The décor in the cottage has a hip and comfy-cozy feel. We are hoping to return someday to explore the area some more....especially since we found this little gem of a place to stay. Don't hesitate to stay here...you will not be disappointed. I wish I could give it more stars somehow!

The cottage and its amenities were wonderful. This is one of our favorite places to visit and the cottage was close to hiking, wineries and breweries. We’re already planning our next visit!

Stayed here with my son for his 16th birthday weekend and there was a birthday cupcake waiting for him when we arrived! The cottage offers nice farmland/field views but it's also within 15 minutes of the casino, white water rafting, etc. Property was clean, was stocked with ample linens, Keurig with pods, and bottled water. The fire pit and gas grill were nice touches as well. The owner was super responsive and answered all questions that we had. The only drawback is that the place is literally right beside the main house so there's no true privacy once you go outside. Also the crickets wouldn't stop chirping but that's to be expected in a house beside a field. All in all I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this property.
